Cant Start service
Before this error appear, i wanted to move servicedesk to another server. I perform this steps: 1. Backup data old server 2. Clean instalation new server 3. Restore data, new server but the service could not start, reporting this error: Unclean shutdown of previous run.
Time shown on requests is incorrect
The system time on Service Desk plus shows correctly in the top right bar. But on all requests the time shows as an hour behind. Is there a way of correcting this on service desk so the requests time shown matches the system time? See attachment example. The reqeust was actually logged at 10:03 not 9:03.
REST API Problem

Enable LDAP authentication failing
(Posted this question in the Zoho Support forum yesterday in error) Getting error: Could not enable LDAP Authentication. Ensure Domain Controller is configured for at least one of the Imported Domains. I am however able to import users with current ldap credentials. I am using openldap Address/port: ldaps://xxxxxx:636 (had to add ldap server ca cert into keystore to get this going) I have tried both the 'LDAP Server Type' as openldap as well as 'others'. Tasks template in request templates not being created
Hello, We have an SDP8016 deployment. We are using the default request template, where we have added some tasks to be included with each request. When we create a request, even if we mark the tasks to be created, they don´t appear in the tasks tab (the task tab doesn´t appear initially). We are able then to add tasks manually or from task templates if we open the request and execute the Add task operation, but default tasks for the Default requests don´t show.
iphone issue
we have one technician that can't login to service desk plus (build 8016) on their IPhone 4. They get a message that says: "You cannot login. Only technicians allowed to login". We have confirmed that they are a tech. Any ideas? thanks
Task issue in the Problem
Team, I created a test task for a problem. ServiceDesk sent email. Hello, When a user submitts a request via Email that contains a screen shot or other image all we are able to see in the request is the place holder. (The box with a red x) we are not receiving the image is there anything that can be done about this?

Problem modifying SITE Field
Ok, i want the normal user have the posibility to select the SITE Field so i can know were he is reporting the problem. I go to REQUEST TEMPLATE-->DEFAULT TEMPLATE--> on the REQUESTER TAB i can´t edit SITE to allow the user to select this option or to make it mandatory. Thanks in advance
Probelm with new-emails
Hello, I had problem with SDP and new e-mail caming from clients. Problem was quite strange because answer from clinet wasn't added to existing case, but it created new case - and important - thne number of that case was already used earlier (so that "new" case had been created earlier adn was about different problem). Can you fix that? One thing that we could do was restarting SPD, and now it's ok, but that situation can replay.
Scheduled Backup fails occasionally
I would like some help to figure out why the backup fails occasionally. Build is 8015, but this has happened in the past with 8013 and 8010 I believe. Service Desk Plus IP scan
Good afternoon I have service desk plus configured to make a rage ip scan with a certain credentials and when I scan the network I am getting ip addresses that are not in use to the list of scanned machines (see image above), is there any way to configure this to just scan and add machines that respond or are alive? Incidents not uploading correctly
Hi we have been using servicedesk for quite a while now so our sql db is old and large (3.8gb). At times we notice slowness issues when updating fields and logging onto pages. But the main reason for logging this job is because we have an issue when people are filling out a incident. We have about 5 custom incident templates. Notification rule not working properly (SDP)
Hi, We are useing Servicedesk Plus (7.6.0 Build 7611) from fast one year. Till now was working fine. Now we have issue in notification rule. We have enabled send email notifification (to selected technician)when new request is created. This is working for some time and some time not. Email not being sent from support desk when using remote control
Hi, i've set-up an account on the zoho website for remote assist and have entered these details into the helpdesk but when i click on remote control when on an asset it gets as far as coming up to confirm whether i want to send an email to the email address of the user associated to that asset it comes up that it has been sent but nothing is ever received by the user, just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and how i go about resolving it. Domain and login problem
I upgraded to build 8015 a week ago and after that there has been problem login in. We have three domains connection to SD plus. I have attached a picture. The first part (from the top) show start mode, nothing entered. No domains in the list. In the second part I have entered my username and password, it's a local account and but I cannot select that. Service Desk Plus Configuring Mail Server Settings
We have just purchased Service Desk, we would like to configure emails sent to helpdesk to be automatically transfred to an incident/problem... does it support Microsoft Exchange Server... ie when setting up configuring mail server settings? it appears that it has only two options pop and imap. SDP - A user with full access to Assets can't add a new product - the link to add new product is hidden.

Problem assigning a task to a specific group
Hi team, We are having issues assigning specific tasks to a specific group created or added to a request. It only shows the group the requester belongs to. The screenshot is below. We tried creating or customizing a task template specifically created for a given task to that's already pre-assigned to a group but when we chose the template from the drop down, the group that was pre-assigned dissappears. SDP e-mail repots problem
Hello, I have small problem with Service Desk Plus. I had a serviceman account in SDP and for his account was created report which was send at 8th in each month. After some time, the serviceman account was deleted and SDP (I think) deleted the entry abouth this report but the report itself is still active and is sending to non existing e-mail account ( so e-mail is returned to SPD). Someone have any idea how to fix that issue?
API key received is not associated to any technician. Authentication failed.
I got the above REST response error message when trying to submit a ticket via REST API. I tried regenerate the API Key and also use different technician to generate Key. No luck. Please help. Richard

Hello for the past several months I have not been able to get Mail Fetching to work. I've tried our hosted email solution by creating a general helpdesk account and I've also created a gmail account and neither work. Also, I've had to re-install ServiceDesk and now LDAP Authentication won't work.
Service Catalog does not always display all Service Field options
I am in the process of building out a Service Catalog and I've created a lot of new templates of late. Here's a quirk I've noticed...I've been able to work around it for now as I don't need all the fields in use...but as we push SDP further and further this could come back to be a problem. Generic error when reply to Request

Dear Collegues! We use Manage Engine Service Desk plus, version 8, build 8013. Recently, we have noticed the following problem. When I push the button "Refresh request" after edit of request, or I push the button "Add request" if I create a new request... the page in any browser (IE, Mozilla, Google Chrome) hangs: in bottom, the green indicator goes slowly, then very slowly, then stops - and browser don't switch to the request list view page. How do I add attachements to requests created through the servlet api?
Hi, I am trying to setup a page where users can enter requests from a sharepoint site. I have the page setup and I am able to successfully create the requests, but I also want to add the ability to attach a file the same you can with an email. I have the html code that lets me browse for the file and added that to my form but the file does not get added when the request is created. I'm not sure if the problem is HTML or something on the server side that I'm missing??? Any help would be appreciated.
