7704 - Inline images not appearing from some emails
Hi, We're seeing a problem which we expected to be fixed in this version. In all instances, emails from one of our clients which include images within the body of the email are not being displayed. Duplicate requesters / users being created
Hi Everyone, I have found some weird issue for our install of Service Desk 8. We have a domain, we'll call it domain1, that is setup to allow active directory pass through. All of our requesters were imported from it when we were using service desk 7. Their domain shows domain1. Now though when a user submits a ticket, it creates a new user rather than using the existing requester. Example of an existing requester: First Name: Example Last Name: User Username: EUser. Agent won't stay connected
On some of my Windows Server 2003 devices, the Desktop Central Agent keeps losing its connection to the Desktop Central Server. It does connect some of the time, so it's not an issue of the port being blocked. As far as I know, there are no other services trying to use the same port, either. Do you have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? It's becoming a problem for patching. Thanks! -Chris
Administration interface stops working
I'm running the latest version of OpManager (fully patched) on a Server 2003 server. When the OpManager service first starts I can access the administration web interface with no problems, but after it's been running for a few hours, I can't view it through a web browser anymore. I've tried backing up the database, doing a fresh installation of the software, and restoring the database, but I get the same problem. Email alerts continue to come in, so I know the server software is still running. I
Desktop Central 7 Core Server Service Starts and Stops
We applied the latest service pack on Friday, and since then, the server Event Viewer shows that the Core Server Service keeps starting and stopping. Also, the Web Console fails to load, get Service Temporarily Unavailable error. This is the 2nd time this has happened with a service pack.
7704 - Portal login error page layout
Hi Support, When a user attempts to log in via the Portal and gets their username or password incorrect, the refreshed page (which informs them they've got their credentials wrong) isn't laid out the same as the initial login page. This wouldn't be a huge problem save for the fact that the login box can 'disappear' if a user's screen resolution or browser window isn't big enough. Cheers, Andy
Disk I/O Statistics not displaying graph
Monitoring disk I/O statistics of a RedHat Linux host and the graphs do not display. I get a message from the AppManager "There is no data available at the moment", however, AppManager is polling device I/O information. What must be done to display I/O statistic graph, and be able to pull up I/O trending data over a period of time?

Cannot send mail to external recipients using Exchange 2010
No problems when using Outlook or other e-mail clients, but when using SupportCenter get the error: "Sending notification failed". This only happens when sending to an external recipient, internally no problem. Might be some kind of authentication problem (see attached support file). I can seem to get the bandwidth data to calculate correct for my switch. I am getting some data but the numbers are off. Uninstalling Agent
I have installed an agent onto a computer and then created an image of the hard disk using BESR 2010. The issue that I am having is that everytime I set up a new computer using the image it overwrites the previous computers details whenever it is logged on. Can you please advise me how to manually remove the agent so that I can create a new image without it.

7704 Embedded images not appearing in incident body
Hi Support, I've upgrade our UAT system to 7704, have begun testing and have found a couple of problems. The first thing I did was to send a new incident into the system via email which included an embedded image in the body of the HTML and a txt document attachment. The attachment has been put into the system as an attachment and can be viewed, however the inline image is showing as a missing image icon rather than the image itself. Opmanager Maps Disappeared
I am running the latest version of Opmanager on ESXi and have been for a couple weeks and this morning I came in and nothing shows up in my maps. For instance, on the dashboard I see 0/10 devices in alarms but if I actually click on that category to see the list of individual servers it's empty. All of the categories under maps are empty along with my business view maps. If I click on an individual item from the dash board, say an item off the top memory devices, the device shows up correctly
Patch Management not reporting operating system correctly.
We have today updated Desktop Central to build 70202 and watched the agent correctly update itself on our desktop machines. When I look at the inventory the operating system is correctly reported (see Inventory.jpg) If however I go to Patch Mgmt and select All Managed Systems the same machines are being reported as Windows Vista, however they really are Windows 7 Pro (see PatchMgmt.jpg). Running a new patch scan appears to fix this and the operating system then reports Windows 7 again.
7704 - Page elements don't resize with browser window in IE8

Inventory view doesn't show all computers
When I am using the Inventory with Computers checked, it doesn't show all the comptuters. However if I run an inventory report I will get an accurate list, identical to our Active Directory info. Why can't I see the computers in Inventory view, and is there any way to show them?

Hi! Have a problem and a question. 1. I try to scan 2 PCs in the network. Agent installed on both of them. The problem is: only one object in "Workstations" is created for both PCs. And scanning of one of them is overwriting data in the object. What should I do with that? 2. Can I automatically assing newly created PCs in Assets module to multiple sites ... based on AD Domain, for example? Say, every PCs in AD Domain domain1.local is assigned to site "Site1"? Thanks!
Refresh issue for new user objects
Refresh issue in ADManager Plus - I created multiple test users to validate that once a user object is sucessfully created both in AD and ADManagerPlus you are unable to modify user properties immediately after in "Modify Single User" I received No Data Found! Even though I can see the object in ADUC and ADExplorer.

SLA alert problem
Hello, Two of our SDP accounts have the same problem: Sometimes, the SLA violation alert is not seen in the request page although the due by date has past the current time. When we change the due by date manually, the SLA alert red flag comes up. Have you ever seen a bug in the current version 8008 or the earlier versions? Saving Attachments - IE9
One of our Techs is currently trialling IE9 and has come across a problem when attempting to download attachments. Basically, a prompt comes up asking if you want to save the file however, this appears to be a background link rather than the filename. From here, you are unable to cancel the request and trying to save the file does nothing. Unable to remote control machines with multiple IP addresses in different subnets - and now scan fails as well
We have discovered that it the target machine has multiple IP addresses in different subnets then the we are unable to remote control them. The patch and asset scan work fine to these machine, however the remote control fails with "The network path was not found" After testing we realised it only affects target clients that have virtual NIC's configured for different subnets. No device is currently exporting NetFlow
I have configured my CISCO ASA 5510 (IOS 8.2) for NESL. cannot change the technician domain name
Hi, I am the Tech in ManageEngine and assigned as SiteAdmin including 2 other SiteAdmin, along with this we have 10 regular site technicians. Somehow, when I logged in today I don't see any admin rights, however I checked with another SiteAdmin to make sure the roles are assigned right to my user id and they are.
