Privilege error when attempting value look-ups in SupportCenter (Admin: business rules, Reports: filters)

Client Feedback Surveys Not Working
Hi, We have tried raising this issue a few times, opened tickets, posted on the forums, tried calling, but the user surveys are still not working. They work fine when sent out automatically from the help desk based on number of tickets closed, but when you manually go into a closed ticket and go to Actions->Send Survey for This Request it does not send the correct email. It sends the original email body text "Kindly follow the below link to take up the survey:" instead of the email we have set

Windows 2008 servers detected as Windows Vista
Hi, We have a problem that when we add a monitor for Windows Server 2008 it is detected as Windows Vista. We can change this later but ideally it would be correctly detected in the first place. Creation of Accounts does not logically name Sites
G'day, When an account is created, it automatically creates a site called "Common Site". While this may be fine if only one or two sites are created at a time, when multiple sites are being created you end up with numerous sites called "Common Site" and therefore you have to go into each one and change the name to reflect the Account to make it slightly easier to create requests. Rather than creating "Common Site", it should have some reference to the parent Account, eg "Account Site". Rgds Ben
ServiceDesk page not loading on Windows 7 + IE8.
Here is my shortcut to ServiceDesk: http://servicedesk.****.*******:8080/HomePage.do. It works fine on a Windows XP machine with IE8. Now when I try it on a Windows 7 machine with IE8, it prompts me for my username/password, I enter it and hit OK, and then nothing happens. The page does not load. Why? Also, I have added the domain to my trusted sites, and have also tried Compatibility View, but it does not help. Thanks for your help in advance.
Possible bug in Widget?
Hi Everyone, On the main dashboard we have a widget setup to show the Top 10 bandwidth utilization. I've noticed that under the "Receive %" Category, all devices always show 100%. This seemed to start after upgrading to 8723. Deleting and re-adding the widget has no effect. I've attached a screen show as well. Thank you for your help. Eric

Wrong OID mappings by SNMP Trap parser

SQL Monitor works on some but not others
I have two SQL servers. The one that works with SQL monitor is a Windows 2003 32bit and SQL 2005. I get the General Sever Details, SQL server details and database details and looks perfect. Losing monitors (licensing issues?)
Hello, We seem to lose the ability to monitor some things, just in the middle of doing nothing. The monitors still run, but you can't see them graphically anywhere (and not add them either) If we go to Admin/License administration and reapply the license the monitors come back. duplicate requestid's being generated since upgrade
we upgraded to 8008 from 8005 yesterday, and our technicians have noticed this morning they are receiving email notifications for new tickets that don't appear in the request queue, and upon further examination the new tickets are referring to old requestid's in a perhaps related problem, responses to emails generated by the system are not being appended to their tickets either I can only assume there is a sequence problem here, but searches on the forums produced the fix of creating a dummy ticket

I think I've found a small bug in SDP 8, no clue if it was in the brevious releases too. I've defined a SLA of 4 hours. So the DuebyDate is set on any Request. But when a Request is created and the notification is sent to the technican by a businessrule, the $DuebyDate variable isn't filled. in the Notification you just see $DuebyDate. but when you then change anything on the Request and another notification is sent, then you get the correct datas. Recorded URL Sequence Not Showing Up
I'm evaluating AppManager. I used Recorder to record a sequence for an internal website. It appeared to record fine. When I saved it, it generated no errors, but the new monitor did not show up in the web interface. I've tried it both from the PC that AppManager is running on and from another PC. Is there a log somewhere that I can look at to determine why the monitor is not being created? Thanks.
Unable to upgrade on 6303 from 6302

The device can't be displayed in maps-category-map

Removing Scheduled Report
We have a scheduled report that generates an email. Unfortunately, the person that set this up marked it at private and is no longer with the company. The report is a simple time report of what they had worked on, but I can not find it in any list of reports. The report is generated, sent to her old email and the undeliverable notice is returned to our helpdesk email that creates a new ticket everyday. The Report's name is Altaf's status report but the bad email is Sadat's (sshaik).
New Request ID with every email response from the email that was FWD.
I have an issue where i can get the customer generated responses working fine. But when I forward the request to a Vendor using the same TT number and insert a canned respone i do get the email to the correct party, but everytime I do I get the following error in the system, and it will always create a new TT and merge it with the original request. Issue with VMWARE ESXi 4.1
Just a few days ago we migrated to new VMware. We took this opportunity to scale some of our monitoring machines into the virtual environement. After building a new Win 2008 x64 virtual machine and loading OpManager 8722 I cannot discover or monitor our VMware Hosts. We have tried several options but the vendor, category never recognizes as vmware. Incorrect values displayed during Domain Scan - SDP 8008
Hi, Looks like in the latest version of SDP domain scan dialog has some glitches in numbers such as percentage and number of stations scanned. For example it shows 563% complete for 45 stations out of 8 possible. Also the scan doesn't stop then it reaches the end, but restarts itself one or two more times. Please refer to the screenshot attached.
Asset Status Not Changing
Some techs on the help desk are reporting that when they try to change an asset to in use, the user gets assigned but the status remains as in store. This is really messing our inventory up. I've been able to replicate it, and it happens to both workstations and non-IT assets. I am on version 8.0.0 Build 8007.
Username/login changed in windows AD, but not in Servicedesk?
User has changed his login in windows AD, but in servicedesk his old login is active, and cannot be changed. How to get the account to be associated with his new login in ad? Deleting the account and creating a new one, is not a good options as his reports/history get erased.. Jan
