Member server(s) security log events monitoring stopped working after upgrading to build 4110

I'm posting my problem here because ManageEngine support seems not interested to look into it and just keeps ignoring my support calls and emails...

Problem description:
Member server(s) security log events monitoring stopped working after upgrading to build 4110. Last event read time is way in the past and Status keeps show "Running" or "The remote procedure call failed" message (see attached scr.).
It was an known issue with this feature since version 4.1 and I had a temporary fix applied in order to use the feature before an official patch correcting the issue will be released. Finally the patch was released, but it seems it didn't correct the issue and just broke the workaround.

I'm not sure if this is a common issue or a problem local to my environment. I'm considering if I should go back to a pre-4.1 build (say b4050) in order to get rid of this problem completely...

Any comments/suggestions will be much appreciated.
