MySQL Date Queries (Changes/Reports)
I have been putting the Scheduled End Time as 31/03/2012 23:59 for many of my changes to denote that they are to be completed within the next Financial Year, however when I report on these the date is displayed as 01-04-12 I'm formatting the date as follows: DATE_FORMAT(FROM_UNIXTIME(chdt.scheduledEndtime/1000),'%d-%m-%y') "FinishDate") Any help would be appreciated Running ServiceDesk 8.0 build 8007 MySQL

Issue with numeric fields
Request - Additonal fields (numeric) don't permit the use of decimal points. Also, it would be nice to be able to define a "currency" field
Sub Accounts view is limited
the Sub Accounts view on "view Account details" is limited to 110 entries. If the number of Sub Accounts added on a specific Account exceed this limit, the rest of the entries are not displayed even if they are correctly stored but they can accessed only from the Contacts windows. This is a problem if you want to search a Sub Account that doesn't have any contact related to it yet. I suggest to add a scroll bar or the possibility to change "page" on the Sub Accounts window.
Requester Auto Creation creating duplicate users
We must have user auto creation turned on to meet a business need. However, we are seeing many instances where an existing user is mailing requests to helpdesk and SD8 ( 8.0.0 Build 8005) is creating a duplicate user. This causes problems in our site based user groups and technicians whose role it is to respond to a given site's tickets as the auto created accounts have a null site. I would like to understand why this may be happening. Please explain the matching algorithm that (at least sometimes)
No "Mark as" Button in latest Patches
I can approve patches everywhere but not in "lates Patches"....that's not good... When i check the new patches i want to directly approve them or not...when you go to Latest Patches you can't do that....you have to go to Applicable Patches ...there you have "Mark as" ....makes no sense. Please add the "Mark as" button to Latest Patches in the next releases. Thx! Martin

Unable to poll devices from SNMP .

False alarms when WMI crashes
Hello Gents, I see the following issue. Sometimes (1-3 times per week) WMI service is crashed on different Windows servers. Some servers have Windows Service Monitors. OpManager tries to check service status via WMI and can't do it. I.e. OpManager immediatly sends alerts about service down. There is no any settings to send alerts for two or more WMI checks. Can you please add some more configuration settings for Windows Service Monitors ? I would like to see here Consecutive Times setting as for
Under Problem cannot assign to specific group or technicien
i this is only happening for one of my problems. when i create a task and attempt to associate to a group or technicien there is no options showing up from the drop down. so far only 1 problem has this issue and the other problems work properly. (eg. i can assign tasks to groups, technicians using the drop downs.
Desktop Central Agent Hangs during patch process.
I have noticed that on several occasions, and on different machines, the agent notification hangs during patch upload. It will sometimes get one or two patches installed and then just sit there until the system is rebooted. It doesn't give the user any further information, only that the patch update is underway and to wait. Waiting is of no use as It never finishes and closes the window on it's own. Hello, We puchased AD AuditPlus, it is installed on Windows 2003 R2 x64 server, volume to store data is 350 GB, 300 GB available for use. AD Audit Plus is version 4.1 build 4110. We have around 64 DCs that we are auditing. I'm getting an error : Not enough storage is avialable to process this command - Code error : 8 What does it mean ?, how can I resolve it ? Scheduler doesnt show all tasks for a specific site or Group
hi there, using the scheduler I cant get it to show me just the tasks and changes for a specific site or group. It only allows me to show on a per technician basis. this is annoying for example if you have a bunch of tasks that are not associated to a specific person. Maybe I have made a mis-configuration somewhere?

Associate Product - List no longer divided into Types
Afternoon, Am I incorrect in recalling that the Product list (when adding products to a Customer via the Account screen), used to be separated by Product Type? Currently, it appears that I am just presented with a giant Alphabetical list. Regardless if this is a bug, or a feature request -- this list should show as a separated list, much like when a customer uses the 'Product' drop down when adding a request.
Opmanger reports a device is not replying to pings but can ping using CMD
I get an alert that a ping to an ip address is not responding when using Opmanager. However, when I go to a command prompt and then ping the device, I get a response. This means I get a false email alert. I have just upgraded opmanager to 8722 from 8050.
Preventative Maintenance stuck in a loop
I have this problem that after I create a scheduled preventative maintenance task the page starts looping on itself over and over again. After hitting refresh-stop a bunch of times it will eventually display, and if I delete the task it doesn't loop. There are lots of bugs in 8.0. If I were in charge there I would put a freeze on any new features until all the outstanding bug reports are resolved. Maybe have a week of QA where both developers and testers try out every feature of the application

Hi, 1.For my network templates i have added a new field, named as "IP address" in incident template and Service Catalog services as a numeric. Whenever a requester adds the IP address suppose, say "10.100.13.89" then it doesn't takes the value entered. It shows an error as "Please provide the numeric value for field". Bug adding / editing Windows Monitor

on calander, choose group drop down shows no groups even though groups are configured

Hello, whenever i want to change a product name by clicking on Edit the full list of products is not available from teh drop down. as a workaround i have to go to Actions-Modify Type, and here i can see the full list. this seems like a bug to me. thnx.
Poor site performance in SD+ 8008 with IE7
We just updated to SerivceDesk Plus version 8008 and all our Technicians are complaining about very bad site performance. We are all using Internet Explorer 7 & 8. I give you some examples: Sidebar > Search "Requests > Default Search" > any search: takes sometimes ~10 seconds to display search results Requests > Inside any Request > Action-Menu: takes 2 - 3 seconds to show up Requests > Inside any Request > Solution Tab: adding the solution & changing status sometimes takes ~15 seconds Requests

Data Truncation exception when creating new Request Filters

We had a couple of users reporting that when trying to create a new custom filter for requests they were being presented with a 500 error and a stack trace. Upon investigation of this error the root cause of this was found to be a Data Truncation SQL exception when inserting the row in dbo.Criteria (this is on MsSQL Server) After looking into the logs and finding that the LOGICALREPRESENTATION field on this table was set to nvarchar(300)
& symbol not displaying in Item list and Group field not populated
We've just upgraded to 8007 from 7600 and now, if a ticket's resolution field is populated and the end user replies to the ticket the owner of the ticket receives a "Request re-opened by the user" message, even though the request was not closed/resolved yet. And for items that have an & symbol in them, the text starting from the & symbol no longer appears in the drop down list and only reappears when you save the ticket Select from list - should read P&R, only shows P Item is saved ticket reads
Reports, Time Elapsed vs Time Spent
This is more of a language issue then a bug. For a request of any type the Time Elapsed = Time Completed - Time Created, and Time Spent = sum(work logs). I know way back when Time Spent = Time Elapsed, but with work logs this is no longer true. I would update your ReportColumnDetails table, to change the TIMESPENTONREQ to point to sdp.reportcols.mod2.timespent which shows "Time Elapsed" instead of sdp.reportcols.mod1.timespent which shows "Time Spent", or change sdp.reportcols.mod1.timespent
Domain Asset Scan Broken in 8.0SP5
I am getting intermittent General Failures at random places during a domain scan. I can scan those failed assets successfully manually, but it breaks when doing a whole domain scan. Unable to update to 8007 , The update fails right after the backup is run...
After it fails it sends me to this link: http://www.manageengine.com/products/service-desk/upgradefailure.html I'm able to start my ServiceDesk Plus install just fine and it still works as normal... I can't see any reason why the update won't install. I'm running version 8.0.0 Build 8006 trying to update to 8007. I can attach my support file if needed, I did a search on the forums and haven't seen others having this issue...

Running Audit Plus 4.1 Build 4110 (was happening with build 4101also) When clicking on "View Reports" link in Reports Scheduler, it will not display reports - returns a "Message from webpage" error saying "Need physical access to the machine where ADAudit Plus is running", and will not display report. New Field for Service Catalogue

NetGear Backup Device Command Incorrect
When attempting to perform a device backup of a NetGear ProSafe switch, the backup command line that is being sent to the switch is incorrect which causes a failure of the backup. Is there a way to manually modify the backup command so that it is correct? Need help for upgrade
Hello, For more then 3 weeks I was trying to upgrade the SD 7.6.0 Build 7611 in virtual machine to latest, but always I have errors and here is what I do. 1- I install SQL 2005 and same SD build in virtual machine. 2- I configure SQL and I import the date from live one and successful. 3- I configure the SD database and it's connected successfully with SQL. 4- I run SD and I can login with my ID. 5- I shutdown SD and trying to upgrade with this file: "ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_7_6_0_SP-2_0_0"
Unaccounted or no data
Hi, I am using the 8.5 Porfessional Plus Netflow and have the following problem: All my data shows as “Unaccounted” in the Application, Source, Destination. And the Conversation tab doesn’t show data unless i set the time filter to “Last 6 Hours” and above. If I set it to "Last 15mins" or even "Last 30mins" it just shows as "Unaccounted" and the conversation shows nothing. Please help with this.
Build 8007 Notification Rules
After updating to Build 8007, replies have been strange. When replying, the "To" and "CC" do no auto populate. Also, the notification rule that is setup is not being recognized. I have attached a screenshot - please advise I tried to uninstall Build 8007, but it kept failing. Restoring a backup didn't work either
Technician costs...
The technician costs keep resetting to 0.0 It's really rather annoying. Is there a fix in the pipeline?
