do not see technicians associated with a site when creating technician groups
running version 8.0 build 8007 I have added 3 sites, associated technicians with each site. I now go to try and create technician groups in the sites but cannot as the field that shows techs associated with that site (and therefore available to add to the group) is blank. You cannot therefore create the group as this is a required field.
Purchasing Windows Disappear
Within the purchasing area a window pops up when you try to change a purchase orders status (i.e. to invoice recieved) a window will appear and before you can type in it, it will disappear, or it will even after you have typed in it, but have not saved the changes. This is extremely frustrating because it requires multiple entry. This does this on every option that pops up a window in this section. Can you please fix this?
Compressd (zipped) Folders Error
Generated reports out of ADManager received through email (Exchange) in a zip folder will not open or extract in WIndows 7. Receive error "The comppressed (zipped) Folder 'path listed here' is invalid". Do not have any archive/zip products installed. We only use the native compression built into the OS. Researched hot fixes on Windows 7 and found no hits. Any ideas?

Hello We have upgraded to Exchange 2010 and i am having problems with sending e-mails from Service Desk. I can receive e-mails in service desk but can't send. ALL servers are ok incoming and outgoing Can anyone help me pls resolving this issue

Trouble importing company logo
Hi, Currently using Op Manager build number 7502. We are wishing to rebrand our report headers with our own company logo. We have tried to import a comapny logo jpg via the "rebranding" section under "Admin". We select the logo and click import. Once this was do we restarted the Op Manager server/application. The report header logo will not change, still default Managed Engine. Is there a fault here or do we need to follow a different process? Regards Corie

I may be missing something obvious but here is my issue: SDP build 8007 I was trying to install a cert from DigiCert last night and ran into an issue right at the end. I used the instructions found http://davemast.wordpress.com/2009/02/13/adding-ssl-to-servicedesk/ and when I created the keystore I used <my domain>.keystore instead of sdp.keystore. Poor performance using Support Centre
Hi. We're experiencing very poor performance on our Support Centre Plus system. I've just upgraded to build 7701 to see if this resolved the issue but it didn't. Some of the symptoms include delays while navigating the site and waiting for several hours while trying to import users from Active Directory. Administrators log in with normal user access, domain appearance changed in login window
Hey, None of my named technicians and administrators can log in correctly to MESDP today. The server rebooted overnight due to a power issue. This morning, when people go to log in, the short name of the domain in the "Log on to" dropdown was replaced with the FQDN of the domain. No Categories available for new requests after update to 7.6
Yesterday night I made the update of SDPlus MSP from 7.5 to 7.6. Everything worked fine without any error messages. Since the update there are some troubles with the account-based categories. We have 7 categories and all of them have the "This category is applicable for all accounts"-Box checked. When we now create a new request the Category (and Item and SubItem) Dropdown is empty independent of which Account/Site is selected. 8007: Notification errors
Hi, We just upgraded from 8006 to 8007. Since the upgrade, any response to an OPEN ticket by a requester not only generates the "updated" notification but also generates the "ticket has been reopened" notification. So basically we're getting duplicate notifications, one of which is simply inaccurate since the ticket itself is not closed. How can we go about resolving this? Thank you. James
Service description cut off - service catalog
Hi, In SDP, in Service Catalog, if the service name consists of two or more words it's not will be displayed fully for user in the drop down box or service catalog tab. (Please see screen-shots attached) I hope this is something easily fixable. Thanks! Miron

Problem with SDP to move between two different servers
Dear All, I have two servers with SD Plus, they are running under different site URLs. Today I made backup of MSSQL database of server 1 and restored it into database of server 2. ServiceDesk stopped working there - page is not displaying. Are there any config tables I should change? I found only "WEB_URL" in GlobalConfig table but still SD is not working. When opening SDP in browser, manageengine process on server is stopping. Please help.

ADSelfService 4.4 Does Not Start
1. Installed ADSelfService on W2008R2. Started the console and then provided a basic configuration. Rebooted the machine, and ADSS will not start, cannot be installed as a service, and does not update any logs. The progress bar gets to "Loading Authentication" and then dies. Hi, We are deploying Service Desk Plus (SDP) and before we have created our Service Catalogue. With Service Catalogue we want to list to all our services, including incidents verification. The problem is, with Service Catalogue when cannot create an “incident form”, he always create the form/request like a service request. T1 reported rates are incorrect on WAN interfaces.
I am getting spikes way above 100% utilziation rates. The interface in NetFlow Manager is set to 1536000 bits per second (full T1 speed). The serial interface on the routers are set for frame relay. Bandwidth and the clockrate are set at the frame switch. Is what I am seeing in the reports reliable and correct? It seems not based on the fact that I would think that you can't have utilization rates above 100%. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciteated.
Unable To Add Microsoft Virtual Machine Bus Network Adapter Interface
this is a windows 2008 R2 enterprise virtual machine hosted on a windows 2008 R2 enterprise hyper-v host. the is a when i rediscover interfaces it shows a bunch of interfaces that do not exist on the virtual machine. they appear to be interfaces from the host. however the interface that the virtual machine uses is present and has the correct ip. however when i select and and try to add it, it simply does nothing. the interface is never added and there is never an error message. please view this

In the Mail Server Settings/Spam filter. There is one To (or CC) rule "contains" an email (abc@example.com), will match all email that has the email in CC (or To) only. The system discard all email.
issue with e-mail to ticket conversion.
Hi folks, I´ve got an issue related with the e-mail ticket conversion, basically i´ve got the mailserver well configured with connectivity, but when i sent an e-mail to the servicedesk e-mail that message is not converted into a ticket. Ghost Performance Monitors alerting
Note that i am a paying business customer. Please escalate this issue to business support. I created a series of performance monitors deleting and adding until i got it right. (feature request: Let us rename a performance monitor so we can avoid this in the future). So now that i have it right, when the performance monitor goes into alert status, the old performance monitors i already deleted, go into alert to, even though they shouldnt exist. Tech Availability Chart "Unavailable" color not showing.
Since upgrading to the most recent version (8.0.0 Build 8006) we can no longer see the pink-ish color for "Technician Unavailable" on the Tech Availability Chart. The leave times are still marked, but the color does not show up in the main view. Any suggestions?
Update to 8007 broke admin login
After update to Service Desk Plus version 8007 today, I am treated like a normal user at login instead of the admin I should be. I cannot see any of the advanced tabs at the top. It worked for a while after the update but eventually I could no longer login(still recognizes default domain though and bypasses the login screen).
Technician cost per hour
The cost per hour for all technicians keeps resetting back to 0. I've manually went in and editted 80 technicians to $65 per hour. Somehow the software keeps resetting the cost to 0? Also, it would be nice if I could have a global cost per technician instead of having to manually edit 80 seperate technician costs. Regards,

Active Directory import problem
Hi, We're on Version 7.6.0 Build: 7607, but are having problems with the AD import. When we select the Organizational units to inport from and start the import nothings happens. Notifications about approval action
Hello! After upgrading to 8006 we've got situation when approving person of the request perfoms some action (approves or denies) - then the e-mail notification is sent to approval starter. The problem is that approval starter gets not one but two e-mails. In conversation history (in request details) it shown as letter was sent to: "e-mail@domain.com,e-mail@domain.com". The name of the message template - "Notifying Approval Sender for Approval Action". Please help me to reduce the number of letters
