Unable to add Software Licenses in ServiceDesk+
Hi. We're using ServiceDesk+ 7.6.0 build 7611. I'm trying to add a new software license in the Assets section but when adding the product name I get this error: FAILURE :null Please report the problem to the system administrator, with the Error Code - 1,293,716,205,584 Then when I try to add the details it just doesn't do anything. Custom Report Graphs not showing data
I have OpManager free edition installed on my machine for testing. I have added the WMI resource monitor for CPU, Disk and memory utilization for 3 mwindows machines. Everything was going fine from the last 1 month. I was able to see the custom report graph for CPU Utilization for my host machine (on which Opmanager is installed) but all of a sudden today when i checked i was not able to see the CPU Utilization custom report graph. It says "Data Not Available". It doesn't even show the last week
cannot enter service name when using Safari on a Mac
We are testing the latest build on version 8 of SDP. If we using a windows computer with IE8 we do not have any problems. However as our team are all on Macs, when we use Safari (latest version) we cannot enter any text in the "service name" field when setting up a new service in the service catalogue.
Administrator is no approver
As Supportmanager I configured servicedesk that I am the main SD+administrator. We are also planning to open the ServiceCatalog. All technician's and other users are configurable to be Service Request Approver exept me as SD+admin. Can you please make this also available? Issues after upgrading ServiceDesk+ to 8.0
Hi. Since upgrading ServiceDesk+ to version 8.0 we have the following issues: 1. When selecting a requester in Admin -> Requesters nothing happens. Clicking the requester simply doesn't do anything, just reloads the list - doesn't show the details for that requester. This occurs for any user despite logging out and in again, deleting temporary internet files, etc. 2. Number of calls listed on "show calls from account" is incorrect
When choosing to show number of calls from account it shows 25 lines twice, and even though the second one is actually 50 it still only every shows 25 no matter which item you choose. Release 7701 Cheers Rich

Wrong request ID being assigned
Hello. I have upgraded to version 8006 of servicedesk plus and beginning today i have experienced the following problem. Most of the requests are being assigned a wrong ID, therefor they are not appearing in the requests list, because the requests with that ID have already been solved. Would appreciate any lights on the mather. Thanks.
Windows 7 not joining domain
We have tried everything, checked credentials etc but our image will not join the Domain. It has been taken from a Workgroup based machine. If we join it manually after the process it works fine using the same credentials in the OS Deployer settings. Any ideas?
Prohibited Software Windows 7 Notification

Restoring from backup every few days
Hi. Recently we are having to restore our Support Centre database every few days as it stops responding and this is the only way to fix it, even if we reboot the server, restart the services, etc. Therefore my assumption is that the database is corrupting. The symptoms of this are simply that there is no response from the server, it just times out when users request the page through a browser. I manually use run.bat on the server and this shows that the server is running, but it just doesn't

Click Log Call and Search. Cannot find the Contact. However if you go to add the contact it populates. Cannot always find the contact when searching or even when searching on request #. This is Build 7.7. Very hard to find previous requests or contacts, creating a lot of work.

Hello, Running OPmgr 8721. Trying to get CPU and Memory Utilization for a device running 9.4.6. I have downloaded and loaded the mibs from here: http://www.oidview.com/mibs/3375/md-3375-1.html It is a multiprocessor device. Most of the monitors that were created for the 3600 template work, except for CPU and Memory. This OID for CPU in the template returns nothing: 100-(.1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.1.42.0*100/.1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.1.41.0) Likewise for the Memory OID: (.1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.1.45.0*100)/.1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.2.1.44.0
Resource Import - importing data which doesn't exist
I'm working on importing a 1000 line spreadsheet of resources / accounts. Each resource has ~10 accounts under it which are all unique. I've got 6 fields I'm importing: Resource, Department, Client (custom added field), Group (custom added field), Username, and Password. When I do the import I end up with about 200 extra passwords in the system - it looks like there is a problem with the custom added fields being imported properly as I see custom fields which do not have the right values. Custom Reports: Selected recipients are not saved
Hi, we came across a bug when trying to schedule a custom report. Users selected as recipients of the report under "other users" are not saved when saving the schedule. When you reopen the schedule and open the "select / view" dialogue the list of selected users is empty. We solved the problem by selecting "email ids" and entering the users' mail addresses. EventLog Analyzer Alert mail delays
Hi, dear community participants! I use EventLog Analyzer 6, which is configured to send mail alerts after server(windows 2003) maintenance shutdown. The issue is that some emails arrive in time and some of them arrive with day, 2 days and even 3 days delay, even when events occurred with 10-15 minutes interval. Any ideas about reason?

Unexpected OpManager Shutdown
Recently our OpManager service shutdown without warning and we went a number of days without even realizing it. LDAP redundancy
When will we be able to have LDAP redundancy? In a 24x7 enterprise shop we cannot afford to have a single point of failure against a single LDAP host (which hit me today). I have been able to cludge it by changing the AaaLDAPAdapter table while waiting for support to respond, but that's not a suitable solution if my ldap host goes offline at an unsociable time like 2am Sunday. Notification Profiles Triggering stops working AGAIN
Hello, Running Opmgr 8721. Came back after a weekend to find ,yet again, that notification profiles were not working. The Opmgr service was running but no one rec'd alerts. Once I restarted the service, a ton of notifications were sent, all late. Is anyone else having this issue? I see no other solution at this point than to reboot the server every day. Please help! Alphabetical date order in reports.
Hi SD support! From v7.6 date in reports is sorted alphabetically - i.e. Dec comes after Aug - and it's strictly incorrect. Is where and way to change this behaviour to 7.5 style - sorting date numerically?

Disk Used Space 100%
Dear support , I was install Opmanager for monitor server system , when i update to version 8722 , some server of window 2k3 ( only 2 server / 15 server ) with warning Disk Used Space 100% , but in this server it's not . Priority Matrix is useless in SDP
Hi there, We are using Priority Matrix to prioritize the requests. But there is a leakage in this process that Technicians can change Impact and Urgency values anytime themselves, even if you deselect the "Allow requesters and technicians to override the Priority Matrix" button in Priority Matrix configuration section. According to this, Priority can be changed in any time by a Technician. How can i restrict the Technicians to change the Impact & Urgency values? From my point of view this is not

It is very good to have a shortcut to change the text size. The problem is that is it want to type @(altgr+2) it will also change the textsize to somethnig i dont want to have. Can you please change the shortcut to something else.

Problem: No softwaredistribution in Remote Office using Distribution-Server.
I set up an DesktopCentral-Server add 2 PC in local Office and then create an Remote Office and add also 2 PC. The communication Server-DS-Server looks good. Some Files are replecatet to /replication/client-data/ on the DS-Server, and an Inventory scan on the Remote Offece PC works. But I'm not able to distribute Software to the remote-office PC's. Exchange 2003 information store size incorrectly reported
Build number:8722 I have set up the Exchange dashboard on my Exchange server. I wanted to monitor the exchange database size. I updated to build 8722 which allowed me to add used disk space as a monitor, but it only reports the size of the EDB file, not the combined size of the EDB and STM file which Microsoft uses to determine total Exchange database size. Can you write a patch to make this monitor count both files to give an accurate indication of database size?

Issues with Tasks / Data Loss
Afternoon! We're attempting to leverage the new Tasks feature in SC+, but have run into a few issues that are severely impairing the use. Description field data truncation: It appears that the description field will only save ~236 characters. Entry of text above 255 characters truncates the data -- SEVERE issue for us. Updating the status of a task (from Not Started to In Progress) appears to drop all associated Comments from the Task. Very bad. The same email template is used for all updates

connection to domain after patching- cannot log in
I am running version 8 with build 8006 of service desk plus We authenticate through active directory and SDP is running on a windows machine (mysql backend). The issue we are seeing in our test environment for the last few patches is that when the patch is applied and servicedesk starts up, we cannot log in as service desk seems to not see active directory. The workaround is to restart service desk plus a second time.
Thresholds - all lost over night
Hi, Something happened and we have lost all our thresholds for all devices. The thresholds are not present anymore in the templates. This has happened for all templates in the same time - the standard ones (cisco, windows 2003, all). They are all missing - those built in the original templates but also those modified / added by me. If i go to the a specific monitor I can see the status of the threshold as "normal" in green but if i try to edit the threshold there is nothing as threshold alert or

DE backup operation creates "User authentication failed" messages on Cisco ASA 5500
DE is able to backup a Cisco ASA5500 successfully. However, viewing the event logs on the ASA during a backup, shows that DE made multiple login attempts during one backup procedure. It looks like there were 3 successful logins and one failed login during each and every backup procedure. Why are there multiple logins?...I assume for each command issued? like, "show version" "show running-config" "show startup-config" etc. Why is there a failed login?...can this be fixed? Thank you
