Issues with Tasks / Data Loss

Afternoon!
We're attempting to leverage the new Tasks feature in SC+, but have run into a few issues that are severely impairing the use.
  1. Description field data truncation:  It appears that the description field will only save ~236 characters.  Entry of text above 255 characters truncates the data -- SEVERE issue for us.
  2. Updating the status of a task (from Not Started to In Progress) appears to drop all associated Comments from the Task.  Very bad.
  3. The same email template is used for all updates to tasks -- very confusing.  Ideally we'd like to see an additional template for Updates (to the Task creator, and the person assigned).
  4. By default, there appears to be a variable (within the notification templates) to use $TaskComments, however it doesn't appear to be valid.  Further, it is unavailable in the list to the right to re-add.
Overall, Tasks appear to be a valuable feature that we'd like to use, however the above issues in addition to the feature requests below would be necessary for us to truly adopt.

  1. Ideally we'd like to see an additional template for Updates (to the Task creator, and the person assigned).
  2. Attachments to the task.
  3. Some sort of Report available to see what Requests / Accounts / etc have tasks associated, and their status.
