Unable To Add Microsoft Virtual Machine Bus Network Adapter Interface
this is a windows 2008 R2 enterprise virtual machine hosted on a windows 2008 R2 enterprise hyper-v host.
the is a when i rediscover interfaces it shows a bunch of interfaces that do not exist on the virtual machine. they appear to be interfaces from the host. however the interface that the virtual machine uses is present and has the correct ip. however when i select and and try to add it, it simply does nothing. the interface is never added and there is never an error message. please view this video link to see the details:
