Just a few days ago we migrated to new VMware. We took this opportunity to scale some of our monitoring machines into the virtual environement. After building a new Win 2008 x64 virtual machine and loading OpManager 8722 I cannot discover or monitor our VMware Hosts.

 

We have tried several options but the vendor, category never recognizes as vmware. And I also do not see VMWare in the type which I am positive we had in the previous build, which recognized our hosts without issue.

 

All of our credentials pass checks, both snmp and cli. I have verified that snmp is configured in our vmware servies as well as excepted in our firewalls on the hosts.
