Incorrect Information is displayed
Hi there, Opmanager is displaying incorrect HDD utilization of one of the Linux servers. At dashboard it is displaying one partition is 67% full but when you go to the snapshot page of that device it is displaying disk usage is 100% and generating false alarms. I requested the linux team to manually check the disk usage of that server, it was only 65% full. I thought that I have misconfigured the device so I deleted the device and re-added it to opmanager but the result was same. I tried to reinstall
Top 10 CPU not showing Virtualized devices
We are testing OpManager and i have a question, On the "Home - Overview" page i have the "Top 10 CPU Utilization" widget added and i have set it to show ALL DEVICES. Why does this widget not show any of the Virtualized devices in there? So far only Servers added independantly are showing but no virtual machines OR ESX hosts are showing their CPU usage in this widget. The Virtual Machines and ESX Hosts do however show their CPU usage if you look at the "Virtualization" tab...but it would be nice

Images in Solutions not displaying when viewing on internet
We have inserted several inline images in solution articles. The images are displaying correctly in intranet but not in internet. They are all blank. The sourse of the images direct to "[server]/inline/solution/number/filename" In our case I guess it should direct "Alias URL/inline/solution/number/filename". Regards
Linux host won't retrieve data
Hello, I have setup a windows PC as data collector. The machine is called "Log-Collector" And I want it to collect log files from a Ubuntu 10.04 server. On the windows machine EventLog Analyzer is working correctly on port 8400. So I added a Unix machine in the interface. Used the default port: 514. And on the Ubuntu machine I configured rsyslog.conf and on the bottom of the file I added: *.* @Log-Collector It adds the machine, it can ping the machine, but it doesn't collect any logs. Sorting IP addresses
When sorting by the IP address column, is it possible to sort by octet rather than by straight numbers? Virtual Access Interfaces
We have set up netflow to our LNS router as we would like to monitor our DSL users usage and report back to them. Netflow reports all the the live connections as Virtual Access interfaces as shown on the router. When the connection is reset however we have a different VI assigned thereby making the graphs useless. What is the best way to monitor our DSL users using this? Regards Steve

Default request problems
Hello, i'm runnig MSP 8016 and i have a problem with Default request template. I configured the fields needed, saved changes then tried to create a request. In the New Request view i can see my Default request template, my chosen fields and create a new request. But when i used to manage my requests, i see all the fields i didn't chose, that i deleted from my template. In other words - on the creating screen i see my manually configured template is OK, on the Edit Screen - me and all my Specialists

Is there any way to make alert when no flow for IP Group, or when Utilization, Volume, Speed below defined criteria. Example 1: Volume for IP Group NOT exceeded 1MB, 3times, in 5min. Example 2: IP Group don`t receive flows for 5min.

Hello, today when I take a report of an SLA field OVERDUESTATUS chart created by the report is shown as figure attached. I wonder how I can change the color red (isoverdue = false) to blue and blue (isoverdue = true) to red. Thus the colors represent the best number.

I am trying to add a user that's in my LDAP to my SDP as a requestor but I keep getting the error "No such user is available in specified DOMAIN" and I don't know what information I am missing or what I need to put in specifically for domain in order for it to catch that domain and process.

How can I use WMI?
I'm currently using the Win 7 Ultimate as the temp server to monitor. Remote Desktop access and SNMP works without any problem but cannot monitor with the WMI. Checked the DCOM (dcomcnfg) and activated the WMI at the services.msc. Also, Firewall is turned off. Can I enable all Requesters to see the Change tab?
We have internal customers (Requesters) that would like to be able to see Change requests (and raise change requests if possible). Is there a way to enable this? or do Requesters have to be promoted to Technicians to be able to do this? Regards, Tim.

Does anyone tested the installation on Ubuntu 10.04 x64. I have installed does not work. Did the following: sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-jdk sudo chmod a + x ManageEngine_PMP.bin sudo. / ManageEngine_PMP.bin Then starts the initialization Java ... and everything stops. I Would like the opmanager to create an Attention/alart event, when a windows server (Windows 2008 R2) is having updates pending install, so the resposible administrator for that server can shedule and install the updates pending... Images in the Soultion Issue
The images that are inserted in the solutions are displayed as blank when viewing in the internet. I think there is an issue with the image urls. When viewing in the intranet, everything is fine. NCM and Netflow plugin cause OpManager crashed
Hi all, Our Opmanager suffer a problem after NCM and Netflow plugin installed. 1. After the 2 plugin installed according the install instruction, the Opmanager cannot login that popup message"Oops looks like a few tables got corrupted. Don't worry.. Run RepairDB.bat from bin directory and restart the server" 2. We reboot the Opmanager server and run RepairDB.bat. After batch file running finished, the Opmanager still cannot login same as above. 3. We uninstalled the 2 plugin and reboot the server

I have just download and installed the Professional version of ServiceDesk. I just go done importing requesters from my domain Controller, and setting up my technicians. But i cant seem to figure out how to get users to send requests from their account. I've attempted to send request by logging in through the web browser connected to my Servicedesk server.
SDP Purchase Order Approval Workflow
We have started using approvals for POs and have to manually control the process to send the PO to each approver, one at a time. We are on 7611, which supports multiple approvers, however we cannot use this feature as there is no way to control the workflow process (there is no workflow process). We need to route IT related purchases to a series of approvers, who will only approve if the person before them approved the PO already. This is the classic run in through the chain of command scenario.

Mail Fetching Just Stops
Two Days ago, I noticed that SDP was no longer picking up any of the mail sent to the exchange mailbox we have set. After some troubleshooting I get this error message when I to re-enter the POP settings -> FAILURE: E-mail settings saved successfully. But error occurred while trying to check connection with mail server - Problem connecting to mailbox. This is the second time this happen, with the first having no real reason on why it just started to work again. So far... I have re-enter all settings
