JBoss Monitoring error: Unable to connect to Jboss server
Environment: Windows XP App Manager : Build 7310 JBoss : 4.0.4 I am trying to add a monitor for JBoss 4.0.4. I get the following error message: Unable to connect to Jboss server. Error Message: Server redirected too many times (20) When I clicked on 'Diagnose the problem', I got the following info: SNMP Status X SNMP Agent is not running in the System. Kindly start the SNMP Agent for Monitoring. Authentication Information X Unable to connect to Jboss server. Error Message: Server redirected too many
Opmanager 7 GA - SMTP Test fails
When I try to configure SMTP settings and send a test to my own email account, I am getting the following error. It used to work with the 7 Beta. customing monitor
Hi, i would like to personalize resource monitor and create new vendor section but in the file opmanager_graphinfo.xml when i put a vendor different from SNMP i get error message in opmanager "resource monitor section". Hi, I'm currently looking into the possibility of integrating our CISCO VPN 3000 into the firewall analyzer. In order for this to be useful we would require graphs showing number of connections/users over time , max connections, min connection, average connection per month. With the current solution(s) from ManageEngine is the following scenario possible at all? We have two different support teams in two different locations. We need to be able to have alerts/alarms generated being sent out to either team based upon timeperiods. Email Alert when Technicain Assigned blocke by Filter
SD + V 5.5.0 Emails received from a monitoring system automatically create jobs on SD. Filter to stop acknowledgement going back to monitoring system (works okay). But Filter also stops alert being sent to Technician when they are assigned to Job. Understood Filter only relates to in coming new requests. Can find no way round this. Andrew

Hi, is there any way to create new groups or subgroups for devices? i have a lot of routers. some I care about more than life itself. others can go down for a week and i don't care. how can i group these different kinds of devices so as to be able to assign different monitoring, altering and SLA profiles to each group of devices?

SD = V5.5.0 Job in Service Desk has NOT been assigned to a Technician but acknowledgement has been sent to Requester. Requester replies to acknowledgement which is added to the Service Desk entry. In the notification rules �Alert(or Notify) Technician by Email when there is a new reply from the requester� has been selected. Monitoring oracle
Hi, I'm monitoring an oracle server with several databases. I want to monitor tablespace allocated, used, etc. for each database. The problem is that it seems to be monitoring all that but just from one database, the one that has the greatest index. Furthermore, when visualizing the data graphically, the titles of each tablespace graphic appear as the index of tablespace, not the its name. Any idea? Regards, Rodrigo.

We want to use the application inside with AD authentication and we want to publish ServiceDesk in our website so our customers can login using local authentication. Servicedesk Crashes at Start up with Error Code 353
For no apparent reason our ServiceDesk Plus server crashed, its running Windows 2003, MYSQL and the Apache Webserver (supplied with ServiceDesk). Now when we try and restart the server we receive a dialog box over the ServiceDesk splash screen saying that Error Code 353 Invalid License file. Please help! Thanks

Expression Building for Custom Views and Business rule creat
I have been attempting to create Custom Views to look at Requests. I am unable to create a view that shows Unassigned requests with My Requests and My Requests on Hold mostly due to the fact that I cannot use "and" and "or" expressions at the same time. Parameters to shell script in 'Execute Program Action'
hello, I'm executing an Action of type 'Execute Program' which calls a shell script (unix). This works ok. The problem is that i send to the script one parameter with more than one word. In the page where the action is created, says this: "Mention the above tags within double quotes to handle any spaces present inside tag value" This is suposed to handle the problem, but the fact is that even with double quotes, I receive one parameter per word instead of a unique parameter. example: action: myShell.sh

Hi, we are using Opmanager 6, Netflow 5 and Service desk 6 in our organization, and apart for some small problems, we love them. I have installed version 7 on test server and i am having some problems with this version: - All my 2003 servers are recognized as NT, this does not happen with DC - There is no way that i can add Exchange monitoring on my mail servers, application tab is just not there. DCs are recognized automatically and applied without my intervention, but i am puzzled how to get exchange
