List only Member Servers
Is there a way I can get only member servers? If not how about ALL servers. When I go to AD Reports and Computer Reports I see Domain Controllers but not member servers.
ServiceDesk Settings
I'm trying to configure these settings, but keep getting this error: Unable to fetch values from ServiceDesk Plus, the server might not be running or the network traffic may be too high. The authentication details requirements are unclear as to what needs to be put in these fields. The username hint says [For Active Directory Users, user the format DOMAINNAMEUsername] but no matted how I format it, the same error occurs. Can you advise what needs to be in these fields please?

Console AppManager is not refresh
Hi all, I'm currently implementing a company AppManager 11. We have 1 Console and 4 nodes or managed servers. For example one node shows a drop but then is up. However, the console does not update this information and continues to "red". Could you help me or give me some tips why not update. Anyway I checked the settings in: Admin ---> Customize ----> WebClient, and the "auto.refresh" is in 1 minute. Also all monitors are set to 5 minutes of polling Thanks and Best Regards
Customize Dashboards in Service Desk 8
I love the new service desk 8 so far! However, the dashboard is just a little "crowded". I'm running a wide screen monitor at 2048X1152 and the dashboard takes up a very small portion in the center of the screen. For example, the technician names get cut off, like so: Eric Co.... Mark He..... And so on. Is there way to "stretch" the dashboard out? Thanks! Eric
Time logged on tasks does not appear on reports
Hi all, We have just upgraded to SDP 8.2.0 build 8204. We can now log time against a task as well as being able to log time against a request. When we log time under the work log tab of a task, it also appears in the work log section of the request. However time logged against a task does not appear on time spent reports. Is this a bug, does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks
Collation error in opmanager v10000
Situation : I have a prod server which is installed opmanager v10000 (but was upgraded from version 6 to 7, 8, 9 and 10) I have another dev server which is installed v9 then upgraded 10. Both are with MySQL database installed, in english language, but I used to put some field with accent. To test new SP I used to backup the prod DB and restore it on the dev server. since a while,... i'm NOT able to restore my full database or configdata backup to my dev server, because I always get an error concerning

Technician security roles
Can you add a row to the role based security definition for "requester"? It would be great if technicians could maintain user fields! The only way to do that currently is to make them an admin with "God" rights.
Change to AD Import OU's - impact on Technicians
Hi, Currently our AD import schedule appears to target the root of our domain. As such it imports all the disabled accounts which are kept forever in an OU separate from our Live accounts. Naturally we do not want these so I wish to alter the query by using the 'Import Requesters from Active Directory' function and selecting only our Live OU. I understand this will repopulate the Requesters but will it also trash my Technicians statuses? Further will it then perform the same query on the schedule?
OpManager and Silent Option
Hello, I want to install OpManager using the "-silent" option. Unfortunately, I find no documentation allowing me to use this option. I guess this option needs to use a configuration file. What are the options / keywords that i can use in this configuration file? How can i specify this file to the silent option ? Maybe this file can be generated from a previous install realised in console mode ? Thank you for your help. RG.
Technicians Missing Their own Tickets
I have a handful of helpdesk guys who work in ServiceDesk groups so they have "Technician" rights in the Services Desk. These same guys enter personal tickets within the Servicedesk to other groups within our company for help. How do they view the tickets they personally created when they dont have access to those groups. When a non technician logs into the service desk they see all their tickets on the front page and can view /edit them etc. When a technician logs in they see the technician page.

Just some additions I'd love to see in the next release of a great product: Ability to set a default reporting period through the GUI. This is useful in large environments with a lot of events. The default of 24 hrs in some cases can be a very large time consuming (and memory consuming!) report. I've changed my default to 1 hr via the DB but it would be nice to be able to do this in the GUI Create your own custom reporting time periods i.e. 'Last 2 days'. Go to the exchange server and then exchange management console, then server configuration, client access. then right click on imap4 properties, then authentication. select plain text logon. (first Choise). then restart the imap service in exchange.
Customize Widget
Currently widgets cannot be customized to remove or add fields. For instance we would love to use the CCTV feature to show our users what is going on in IT. However we can't remove or change the way server names are displayed in the existing widgets. This is important because: 1. We don't want to reveal the host names of our servers to users for security reasons but its important to IT to use the host names in OpManager for monitoring. 2. The hostnames would make no sense to most users anyways.
Customer/client portal
New to SD but I am having trouble understanding how the customer/client portal is established, what information (URL) do we give the customer to enter their own tickets. Right now it looks like we have to build them with an account to enter a ticket - not what we want. Can someone push me to the right information on getting this setup properly? Thanks~

I have about 830 unidentified applications in my inventory, and only 16 of them were identified as "commercial". But the majority of the unidentified ones are applications that are just minor version revisions of commercial software. For example, "Adobe Acrobat" was listed as "commercial" automatically. However, "Adobe Acrobat X Standard - English, Français, Deutsch", version 10.1.6 and 10.1.7 both were listed as unidentified. Also, I have dozens of "Adobe Flash Player 11" that are listed as unidentified.
copy file based upon attributes
we have an older application that utilizes a .lbr file to hold the code to access our DB. The develops will make changes to the lbr file and we need to push it out once they have made the change. Will copy file do that?

Status is changed in resolution containing an image
Hey, We have a little problem with the status field. If we add an image to a resolution (paste the image), the status is changed back to "Assigned" after clicking on "SAVE" even if we are saving the resolution with status "Resolved". Why is that?

Improve usb blocking
I would like to know if any of these options will be included on desktop central usb blocking new features: - Ability to allow only read access to usb or cdrom drives for certain users or computers - Ability to filter specific files type to be allowed or blocked, ex: user x have a cdrom read access but can only copy certain files like .doc or .xls Thanks
Problem with Dinamic custom group
I have 2 Dinamic custom group. 1º With computers with S.O = Windows xp 2 With computers with S.O = Windows 7 all computers belong to the same Active Directory. when I want to make a distribution on these dinamic custom groups 1º shows less than computers listing. 2º in dinamic group Windows 7 shows computers with another operating system ( like Windows Xp ) As an emergency solution, I'm exporting the list and put this list as distributing computers but I'm curious to know the reason for failure

Netflow Analyzer directory structure and backups
I just inherited a NetFlow Analyzer installation that is running out of space. The long term solution is more HD space, but in the short term, I would like to move some data to a different HD. I see recent data (data & mysql) existing in 2 locations: D:\NetFlow D:\AdventNet\ME\NetFlow\backups The D:\NetFlow data seems to be current, while the other data (D:\AdventNet...) is timed stamped as of 0120 this morning. I would like to move the AdventNet directory to a separate HD. Is this backup
Populate Office, Titles, Department, etc through tables?
Is there any way to link certain fields to tables in AD Manager? We have hundreds of office locations and it would be great to have them selectable so we can keep naming consistent. Can you link fields in AD Manger to separate tables?
