Schedule automatic active directory imports from several domains
Hi, I'm using SD 8.2.0 (8208) and I'm importing the requesters list from several AD domains. I've activated the scheduling of AD, but here it comes my doubt. Does this job imports all the domains I've configured? Or just the last used? Thanks!
prohibit all apps except white listed
To be able to set a profile where all apps are prohibited except for the whitelisted ones. This would be much easier to administer than having to go through all discovered apps and blacklist the ones not permitted on corporate devices.
Lock / restrict device if prohibited app not removed
To lock the device or restrict it to wifi only (or other restriction) if prohibited software is installed
Software licences synchronised with SD+
It is annoying to have to keep re-entering details of software licences in both DC and SD+ It is also likely to lead to many mistakes on compliance if one is updated and not the other.

Hi, I want to set the threshold in such a way that say for example the value of an attribute (messagecount) is 100 and after 2-3 polling intervals, if the value is still the same, then send alert coz no new messages have come, something is wrong. Can we monitor this above mentioned scenario in App Mgr V 10?
ResetADSSPPassword.bat isn't working
Hey guys, For some reason our adself service admin password isn't what it's meant to be *mutter mutter* and we don't have any idea what it is. So we have to reset it. Looked in the fourms and was suggested i use the ResetADSSPPassword.bat. I have tried running this while the service was running and while it wasn't running with no luck. Also tried it in a elevated command prompt and a normal command prompt. Any Ideas? Says the below: C:\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine\ADSelfService Plus\bin>resetADSSPPassword.bat

Temperature & Humidity Need two places after decimal.

Feature Request - Notification Groups and Rules
Do you plan on building in the ability to create custom groups of people that can be notified of a Incident/Problem being created or closed? We are finding this to be a major gap in trying to implement a Problem reporting system in our ServiceDesk implementation. At first, we worked around this by changing the ticket levels to Incident, Problem, and Service Request. We then set a business rule to notify a group of people when a ticket with a level of Problem and a Priority of Sev 1 is created.
User administration DC8 -Role
Hello, i have one problem with defining roles for user. In User Administration i created new Role: Service_Desk and on Configuration module i gave permission Read Only. In that case my SD technician can see all configuration that i created but cant select target for deploy (Computer name or anything else) and that's problem for me. DueBy Date - Can I this in Business Rules?
I have created Business Rules that email Support Reps when their tickets haven't been updated in 2 days. I would like to have the ability to NOT request an update if it is prior to the DueBy Date. I would also like to be able to reference tickets on Hold, and as they approach the DueBy Date, send an email off reminding their owners they are on hold. Is there a way to do this that I have overlooked?
Folder Monitor - Modification not alerting
Hi, I have created a Folider Monitor and a Notification Profile to alert me when a folder is modified. When the folder is modified I dont get an alert but if i test and ask for an email when the folder exists the attention email comes through Any idea why the Modified alert may not be coming ? Alert email is not sent with current polled value.
Hi Team, We have configured the disk partition utilization monitor and set the critical threshold as >95% and for trouble >90%. Critical Alarm was generated when the partition utilization reached 96%. Even the current polled value changed to 90%, alarm condition is still in critical and the alert email generated was also with the previous value 96% rather being updated with current polled value. Hello, is it possible to work with wildcards in file age monitoring? With OpManager I want to monitor files with fixed 10 signs at the begin and variable digits and signs behind. Cannot assign technician as a requester
Our ServiceDesk has suddenly stopped allowing calls to be assigned to requesters who are also technicians. This has been working fine for months, but earlier this week the names are not appearing when you type the surname in the requester name field. We are running an older version 8125 (too afraid to upgrade in case we break something!). Is this a known bug fixed in a newer version? Any ideas? Many thanks, Mike

I have loaded in a lot of assets. At the time I did not have the pricing information. I know what to add that in. I have added it to the product and vendor but it does not update the asset cost unless I do each one manually. How can I update the same price for all assets for a product?
