Email template for Announcements

I would like to start using the Announcement feature to send/create announcements letting our users know when a change is being implemented.

Currently our process is to send an email to a distribution group letting them know that a change is about to start, and then send another email when the change has been completed. We currently do this using email but I would like to move away from that and just use ManageEngine as all the information is there already and I don't want to have to copy and paste information from one app to another.

I have been testing the Announcement feature and there are two issues that I found and cannot figure out how to correct them.

1) If initiating an announcement from a change, the body only shows 3 lines from the Description section. How can I increase this to show all of the information?

2) If initiating an announcement from a change, how can I get the Change link auto populated? I have looked at Admin ->Help Desk Notification Rules section but cannot find the announcement email template. I was going to add $ChangeLink but cannot seem to find the email template.

My goal is to use the announcement feature when starting a change and then close it off when the change has been completed.

Also if anyone has a better way to achieve my goal, please let me know.
