SDP 10013 - Problem with restore db
Hi. I have the problem. I need to move servicedesk DB to another MS SQL server and the problme is when I'm trying to restore db steps 1. Back up your application. 2. Create a new database using /changeDBServer.bat. 3. Start and stop the application once. 4. Restore your application into the new database. But during resrtore whe windows disapire after few sec. And I can't back to old server error occured OPEN_MASTER_KEY_FAILED I can't find any log files. so I can't check error why i can't restore
Migrating to sql failed login
Hello, I'm installing ServiceDesk Enterprise to a customer site. I try to migrate from postgres to SQL but when i testing it the connection failed with "login failed" error I tested the username password and it works, it is the same that i used to migrate desktop Central yesterday and it work (same SQL Istances, different DB name). Unable to run reIndexData.bat

I recently upgraded to Build 10500 and noticing search is not returning all results. I tried re-indexing using reIndexData.bat AllModule > 1.txt and it's not working. Here is the content of 1.txt file. Cannot Customize Service Catalog
Hello, We just updated to the new requester page and noticed that when a requester clicks create an issue, the catalog page is blank - all it shows is ungrouped templates. When I go into the Settings > Templates & Forms, I have no option to edit the Service Categories (following instructions from here: https://help.sdpondemand.com/service-catalog). Access Denied from this IP address - Servicedesk Plus
We changed ISPs and have naturally ended up on a new IP address, but now I can't log in, I get the above error. I don't recall setting an IP address restriction for login locations, but if I did, no way to get back onto it to change that setting. I'm on the free edition so they sent me here, but I expect this is not something that can be solved by the forums. Any advice? Thanks in advance. SA.

Hi, we got "Windows 10 Enterprise E3 in CSP" of the azure cloud of our parent company. Because "Windows 10 Enterprise E3 in CSP" is licensed by user we don't have access to the VLSC from Microsoft to get an Enterprise iso image. OS Deployment: Computer Name not applying correctly
I have updated our images to Win10 1903. After deploying the images, the deployment template is failing to generate a new SID as well as failing to name the computer correctly by the serial number. This could also be a bug with the 10.0.411 version. This is the first image deployemnt we have attempted after updating Desktop Central to the latest version.

Hi, Is there a known issue with the Currently Viewing function showing the wrong data? We've found that since upgrading to 10.5, Currently Viewing seems to show people as looking at calls when they are not actually in the call. For example it is showing on one of my calls but nobody else is actually in the call. Desktop Central MDM User Sync Not Working
Good Morning, I am unable to successfully sync users in my on-prem AD Domain. Computer details sync correctly, and the user names will sync but no user attributes. Due to this problem I am unable to enroll newly created users into MDM via domain authentication. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

File not found - Request attachments
Hi all, We have a similar problem to a few other topics on here, but one of main differences is that we haven't moved databases or servers and the location of the attachments is the default one. If I search the attachment folder there is very little in there, we have nearly 30,000 requests and about 32 attachments across all the different folders So I am a little bit lost of where these attachments are disappearing from, if anyone can offer any pointers it would be most appreciated. thanks Andy

Good Day We are running ServiceDesk Plus on demand and we would like to use the Android mobile app. For our Work Logs we have some custom fields. Unfortunately, they do not show up in the mobile app. The same goes for fields whilst creating a ticket. Problem with AD Import Requesters
Hi, Because the import of the requesters with Active Directory Import did not gave the correct users, I moved some OU's in AD and renamde some OU's in AD. When I now do a manual import of AD. Admin -> Active Directory -> Import Requester(s) I still see the old AD-structure and not the new structure. How can I refresh this? Arjan
Running Report from Custom Attribute
I'm trying to run a report and or move user objects based on a custom attribute I've created in AD called studentNumber. If I use the sample CSV below, I receive the following error: CSV Contents: studentNumber 999994 999995 999996 999997 Error I am able to populate this custom attribute using ADManager Automation. I'm also able to update passwords using this custom attribute from CSV, but it doesn't work to generate a report or move user objects. This custom attribute is defined in AdManager

Mobile App not scanning bar codes properly - app keeps closing
Hi, I am testing out the Service Desk Plus scanning function for our IT assets by using my Sony phone. I have installed SDP on my mobile and have been trying to scan the bar codes. The bar code details appear but when i go to add it on SDP after i click the tick box, it keeps closing and says "ServiceDesk Plus has stopped". I can either Open the app again or send feedback. Why wont it let me add the rest of the asset details? I can see the next page but then it closes on me and then i have to
Reply Template with Version 10.5
Reply templates no longer preserve the technician signature when they apply a reply template. Previous versions did preserve the signature when a reply template was used. Will this be resolved in the near future with a subsequent release? Thanks, Craig Rice
Adding users to password groups not working unless..
We have AD groups associated with Oracle DB Server resources. If an end user is added to a group, they then see the resource under their passwords and can check out the password etc. The issue is, when our help desk adds a user to an AD group, they will not be able to see the password unless us admins go into the group in PMP and physically add them to the group in there. Once we do that, they can now see the group. Any ideas?

Reply to Notification creates a new request. If you send a notification to someone ie. a technician for them to fill in a section or for information and they receive the email and click on reply it sends an email to ServiceDesk and ServiceDesk creates a new ticket based on the email.

Agent upgrade from 10.0.387W to 10.0.411W failing
Hello, I upgraded my MeDC server to 10.0.411 this morning (from build 387). And this time, agent upgrade is not working. And even worse, I cannot uninstall the agent from MeDC server (to manually upgrade). Communication between agent and server seems OK.
