Needing to get back built in technician accounts
One of our other IT techs accidentally deleted a few of the built in technician accounts from ADManager Plus and I was just seeing if there is a way to get those back or just create other accounts that just are local to the application. The one in particular we need is the built in HR Associate account as we have a few HR reps that will need to create users. Thanks!
Single Sign On still prompts for username/password
I have SSO enabled on ServiceDesk Plus. I created the AD computer account and set the password. When you navigate to the URL of the work order system, it no longer goes to the webpage that asks for the username and password but instead it pops up a dialog requesting the username and password of the user. I would like for the work order system to detect the logged in user and automatically log the user into the work order system. Any help would be appreciated.
AD Manager Plus not launching on Terminal Server
We are running both AD Password Self Service Plus and AD Manager Plus on the same terminal server but recently the Java Wrapper Service will launch at startup on this server for AD Password Self Service plus fine but for AD Manager Plus the java wrapper service doesn't start automatically and when you try to launch it manually it will try to start the service and then goes to "Initializing Service" and then just dies. Unable to enable Ldap authentication
I generated a certificate for both of our domain controllers using lincert. I added both of our domain controllers under the ldap tab using secure ldap over port 636. When I save both configurations it saves successfully. Issue # 1: I tried importing users, however, the import users message just spins endlessly, however, it does import some of our users, but not all. A Change cannot be saved if one of the Implementers (Change role) has been removed as Technician/Requester
One of the roles in one of the Change Templates is Implementer. When setting up the template one chooses the Technicians who are allowed to perform the required action (it would be great to set this up as a group). When an employee leaves the organisation and the Technician license is taken from that person he/she is still in the Implementer role in the Change Template. run custom script - create 365 account in another domain
Hi, I create a user in AD and then I want to create a 365 account in a domain that is not the same as the AD. For this I configure in the script the connection with administrator username and password 365. Networks scan of a different VLAN brings in all IPs as unknown workstations
Good Morning. I have an instance of ServiceDesk Plus in my primary VLAN that does a network scan of the VLAN it's on and two others. These three VLANs are all on the same domain however. There are rules in the firewall that allow the other two to talk to domain controllers for DNS, AD, etc. These are scanning fine. How to update a requester's password from api
I am able to create a requester via API with the xml below. But I havent been able to get the update requester working. We are primarily a linux shop w/ only ~150 users in AD the rest of our users are on different databases so we have written a web form that creates/ deletes /updates our users on AD / internal systems / etc from a central point. Currently I am able to create and delete a requester but not update. The documentation isnt very clear... was hoping someone else ran into this. Thanks,

Software Packages stuck on Retry in Progress when newer version installed
I noticed that a few packages we have pushing in our environment are failing. When looking at the remarks, they are all listed as: Installation Failed - Fatal error during installation. I started looking at logs on a few of the machines. Hi After update ADManager to last version 7.0.1 Build 7010 I found that the checkbox "AD Reports" (in "AD Delegation" / "Help Desk Roles") is unchecked for all helpdesk roles, but all reports sub-item checkboxes remain checked as they were. If I enable checkbox "AD Reports" for helpdesk role, my settings is resetting and all reports sub-item checkboxes becomes checked.
