rest api business view
i see there is an api for addDeviceToBV however there is no RemoveDeviceToBV. is there anyway to remove a device from a business view using the API or delete and the whole business view itself. i would like to create business views based on information from another system but there doesn't seem to be a way to remove devices that no longer belong in a view.

Technicians cannot navigate between tabs within the "Modify User Properties" window
Almost all of our agents have recently lost the ability to navigate between tabs after clicking into user's "Modify user properties" window. When they click on any tab (Account, Contact, Exchange, etc) nothing happens and the screen does not change. This is the same across any browser, after all browser resets/cache clear/etc. This started after a failed install of the latest version of ADM+, so we are still currently on 7056. Before the attempted upgrade this was not an issue. Has anyone seen this

Can't edit possword policy
I can't edit the password policy "Offline Password File" This policy was used in the past to save offline passwords for which we don't have direct control of. Since we ran updates on our PMP system the policy seems to have changed. The policy rules now often conflict with the policy rules from which the passwords we are trying to save are derived and I don't appear to have the ability to edit the policy to relax the length and complexity rules.
Inventory scan failing on all Surface Pro 4 systems
We have a few hundred Surface pro 4 devices and on every device the asset scan is failing. Other Surface Pro models have no problem. Has someone maybe encountered the same problem?
MS SQL Monitoring not working correctly on named instances
Afternoon All, We've an applications Manager monitoring several SQL servers. Whenever the Monitor has the option "Connect using Named Instance" (See SQL-1.png attached) the monitor will be unavailable most of the time, only being shown as available for 5 minutes or so (see SQL-2.png attached). I don't think this is the servers themselves as my screenshot includes multiple servers with both named and default instances on it and only the default non-named instances work fine. Anybody have any ideas?
Agent Deployment Fails : The system cannot find the file specified.
Hello Everyone. Have been using patch manager plus for a few months now, but today i find that whilst trying to push the agent out to a few computers in SOM i now get the following error. The system cannot find the file specified. I then tried to uninstall the agent on one of the computers that already had the agent and im having the same issue. I tried looking at the account used to push out software through my AD but it looks fine. How do i trouble shoot this?
API v3 - Can't close tickets
We are able to create tickets that are already in the closed status, but we can't close existing tickets via the API. Using the below Powershell snippet OR Postman, I can't get the call to succeed: If i purposely malform the request, I can get a JSON formatted error from the API, but in the correct format, I receive an HTML 401 page. Good morning i need to copy a file from a source to a destination. the destination is the desktop of the logged in user. If the script targets the user's name it works. email integration
Hi. I'm using servicedesk plus, and I have it integrated with email, to let the users to open SR. I have configured some alerts in notification rules. The only thoing I don't know how to do is communicate with user via email, I allways have to send answers to users from the console itself. Could be great to enter the application only to change status of SR's, not to answer the users to their SR. How can I communicate with users via email? I hope I have explained OK. Thanks.

Assets management
We are using service desk plus and for asset management it fails to scan the machines connected to our network. It ends up with the following errors, 1. Credentials is not configured 2. General failure while performing the operation 3. Connection to the RPC server in the workstation failed 4. Failed to communicate the Agent. We have configured the credentials, the port 9000 is enabled, at times it does scan at times it will fail. Need suggestion and help in regards to this ASAP.
Issue with incident requests loading for requestors
We currently have 50+ incident requests templates within our business that work perfectly fine. However, there have been a few that i have created that just wont load for staff (either an error message appears, or the page just doesnt load. Has anyone experienced this?

Groups showing when not shared.
I have two accounts. One I use with full access the other I use as a simulated user. From the full access account, I can go to USERS > (Locate user) > Add User to Multiple Groups > Add the groups and I can pretty much move the user b/w groups and see the results immediately in a separate browser. So I restored backup from 05.09.2018 by new installation and rename old installation folder. Emails automatically being sent to our service desk email in CC field
Hi, Yesterday we updated to Build 11124. Since then, when ever a technician hits 'reply' within an incident, it is automatically inserting our service desk email address into the cc field. It then displays two emails within the incident for the one email. Can you advise how to disable this function? Thanks Andrew
Can't delete 3 different member servers in AD Audit Plus
Actually I can delete them, but after a while (hours) they are automatically in the list again. I have tried to delete them 3 times now. When they are in the list, they fails to fetch event log data, because they are deleted from the AD and does not exist anymore. How can they be removed from permanently from AD Audit Plus?

Catastrophic failure whilst installing sdplus
Was trying to update an old instance of our sdplus application following these guidelines. https://www.manageengine.com/products/service-desk/on-premises/migration-sequence.html We were originally on version 9334 using mysql which was the default when we first installed service desk plus a few years ago. I was able to upgrade to 9336 without any issues. However when i tried upgrading to the next step which was to take me to 9400 i was informed i could not continue as i needed pgsql. Found

Hi Thanks for the last reply of my Case, it worked great :) I tried to integrate SCCM in our Servicedesk Instance. When I fill out the form and either save and test connection or save the connection it does nothing. Is there any log to observe or any other general tipps before implementing SCCM? False Positive - SNMP monitor of Free space
Hi ALL! OpManager 12.5.120 Many VM with Windows Server 2016. Part of this VM has SNMP and WMI monitors (with thresholds) about free space in the HDD. WMI monitor works fine SNMP monitor has periodic false notifications about free space - look latest false (Opmanager_False-1.png) BTW free space is already below the threshold. Look at graphs WMI & SNMP What is it? Why OpManager has false data via SNMP ?
