Technicians can no longer view all asset groups
After upgrading to 11123 - Technicians can no longer view all created asset groups under Asset tab. As an admin, I can view them all. Were some sort of permissions changed for this? Anyone else experiencing this issue? I sent the physical link and they were able to access it that way, but cannot through the application. Thanks for any help.

Hi, I am trying to upgrade my ServiceDesk Plus to latest version. Currently running Build 9.4 I did stop the service, Run the backupdata.bat file for backup and then run the updatemanager.bat But the updatemanager.bat is not giving the popup windows for selecting the file. Bulk Edit Users via CSV - Missing Match Criteria
I ran a report of users missing Description. I then edit the Description and attempt to import those changes. However, when I select CSV import, I select Description to be modified. Then when I try to select the match criteria only Title, Description and Department are listed. Why can't I match on SAMAccount name?
'Security Warning: Default Credentials Not Reset' after updating to V11124
Greetings, Not sure why we're suddenly experiencing this error warning across the top of all Technician pages in ServiceDesk after updating to V11124. I've reset the passwords to 'administrator' and 'guest' local accounts as mentioned here https://pitstop.manageengine.com/portal/en/community/topic/security-warning-after-upgrading-to with no change. Hello This is a problem sometimes happen in our MSP 9408 build When creating a WorkOrder additional field, SDP says it's ok, but then it isn't shown on the list. Surprisingly, later is imported on Analytics Plus, so, somehow, it exists... Hello, Urgent support required! I am using desktop central for many years for endpoint management and patch management but there is a big issue with desktop central patch management. End-user cannot choose and install patch after deployment, they are forced to install all the patches pushed, this is good for endpoints but not for server patching. we are still using WSUS for server patching, can you please add some feature, like available patch on Self-Service Portal so user can choose and installed.
DC alert: ports are blocked by windows firewall after 10.0.555 update
Hi, Desktop Central console (scope of management, computers) brings up an alert: "Ports that are used for the agent-server communication are being blocked by windows firewall" with an "unsafe" link "Unblock now" (javascipt). This happended after upgrading to version 10.0.555. I have a bunch of open ports incoming. And there is no problem with the agents (updating, patching, inventory or remote access) communicating. Active Directory Auth Works But no settings specified
I took over a servicedesk installation, which is very old. Now I want to upgrade it to the latest version as per the Upgrade Sequence. Now I'm at 9.1.2.1 Active directory Auth works (tested by changing password and immediately logon to servicedeskplus with the new password, worked). But I cannot see AD auth selected nor LDAP auth is activated. Strangely, AD import is enabled... Unable to list the computers
Team, I'm not sure if this is for me only, but I find one problem in the new Create Group page. If I select 6 or more Domains/Workgroups in the Domain field; while creating a static group; I can see no computers listed in List tab of Available Computers. As I add the Domains/Workgroups, the list is populating until I click the 6th one. Patch's KB4565589 & KB4565636 not installing on Windows 7 w/ ESU's
The above two patches have failed to install on all of our Windows 7 machines that have had an ESU license applied to them. The ending result from the .NET error log is: Final Result: Installation failed with error code: (0x80070643), "Fatal error during installation. According to Microsoft, the error code is a generic code. Anyone else having issues with these two patches?

Changes not saving to tickets, cannot assign technicians etc 10.5 Build 10501
We upgraded ServiceDesk from 9.4 Build 9422 to 10.5 Build 10501 through the 3 upgrade packages, no issues at all in that respect and after upgrade we can log in, view all tickets, create tickets. The issue is...we can't assign them any more! If you try it from the main screen an error pops up Failure. Request ID(s) cannot be assigned to the selected technician, now here is where it gets weird if you click the ticket and 'edit' then select the technician that way it says "SUCCESS:Request(s) updated

I set it all up for a team and now it has been handed over they would like to add another user. I don't need access to their instance anymore.
