Can't run Update Manager
Hi Everyone, We're running Op Manager 8051 on Windows 2008 / 64 bit. I notice I can't run the Update Manager to install the latest hotfix. Categorization by custom status for request
Hi, I was playing around with SupportCenter Plus and came up with this. I had a request called 'Test1' with status as 'On Hold'. I created new status called "Submitted", then created another request with status as "Submitted". (Refer to Example1.jpg) First issue here, on the 'Global View' tab on Homepage, screen does not show column 'Submitted'. (Refer to Example2.jpg) I could not figure out how to create new column here. Unassigned Workstations - Incorrect Value
Under the Assets Tag, I am showing 4 unassigned Workstations however, when I click on this, there aren't any showing in the list (as I have recently assigned everything!). My Filter is set to 'All Workstations', with Resource State set to 'Unassigned'. How do I clear this down so that the correct number of Unassigned machines is showing? Thank you,
How to enable E-mail to Request Feature in SDP version 7605?
I have recently updated the SDP version 7605. I have integrated this with OpManager build 8051 but it is not getting automated ticket alerts in SDP, however OpManager notification profiles are properly configured. please guide me the solution. Shah
AIX version 5.1
Hi, Would like to refer a problem encountered in OPManager. We have been monitoring AIX servers using CLI protocol and as far as I can remember it can collect the data we need (cpu, disk, memory) but for the last 2 months we can no longer collect the data we need. Searching SubAccounts in 7601
I just upgraded to 7601 and I am pleased with the expanded and enhanced Search functionality. I do have one issue that has been a problem since you added Subaccounts. I can not use search to find a subaccount. This is very important because we have hundreds of subaccounts and it isn't always easy to determine the parent account. Is this something that was overlooked? Or am I never going to get this functionality? Ken
Time Mis match issue.....
Hi Support, I am running OPManager 8051 I am having a time problem. My System on which I have install OPManager is having a correct time in PST. but OPManager is showing its time in ACT. Kindly guide me how to change or edit the date and time settings in OPManager. Validation Failed adding an Active Directory domain
Hi, I installed the Device Central 70106. I am trying to add a test Active Directory. I added the user "dcentral" and added it to the Domain Admins. I entered the correct values on the "Edit Credential" interface but I always receive the "Validation Failed" message. Can you help me? Attached the DC logs and some screen shot. Thanks, Roberto D.

Detailed statistics / Custom Report Time
Hi, We have been looking in options for the Interfaces reports and there is something odd... Even if we keep the detailed statistics for 15 days, when we have a report (Of interface traffic analysis) older than 2 days, the data is not detailed but hourly, how can we have the detailed data shown in a report ? (we take only 24 hours by report and the data is still scaled down). Second question, How is the data archived ? Is it one point in the whole hour or an average ? Is there a way to keep the peaks

Possible Bug - Notes Get Duplicated With Spacebar
After adding and saving a Note--> hit the spacebar on your keyboard--> the note gets duplicated as many times as you hit the spacebar. Is this a bug or a feature?
Added devices do not show up.
When I add a new device, it says it is successful but never shows up anywhere. I am using Opmanager 8051 on Windows 2003 server. What can I do to correct this? I have repaired the database and restarted the server. Thanks. -Sam

Support Center - Patch uninstalling problem
Hi, I have a Support Center Plus installed on Windows 2003 Server - SP2. My patchs directory is near 119Go and I'm only in v.7.0.0 SP 1.6.0. (see screenshot01.JPG) I have stop "ManageEngine SupportCenterPlus" service and i'm trying to uninstall old patchs with "UpdateManager.bat" but the operation stop and the message "Sorry, uninstallation is currently not supported." Netflow Analyzer showing traffic from ASA5510 in wrong direction
I am currently running the free edition of Netflow Analyzer 7 (Build 7600) and I have noticed for a while that the direction of traffic shown in Netflow is opposite of what ASDM is telling me. For example, if the ASDM is showing we are using 10Mbps downstream on the outside interface Netflow Analyzer says we are using 10Mbps upstream on that interface (which is wrong). Is there a setting I can look at to adjust this inside of Netflow Analyzer or do I need to examine the Netflow export settings
Deleted ServiceDesk Plus program files
Hi, By mistake I have deleted some of the ServiceDesk program files, ServiceDesk still seems to be working except I cannot write any notes on calls, when I click on Add Notes I see this at the bottom of the webpage 'Javascript: Void(0)' whereas the others actual link to something. I am just worried if I restart the server it won't start back up again because of the missing system files. I do have backups of our data and I just wanted to know if there is a way I can repair the installation instead
Shortcut in Business View not working as expected. All shortcuts are RED - Critical.
I have made several Business View Maps of our infrastructure, which are drill-down/zoom-in type maps. On each map I have placed a shortcut to go back to the main/overview map which contains shortcuts that are linked based on traffic flow. The problem is that since I added the main/overview shortcut to every map now all of the shortcuts are Red regardless of which device actually has the critical alert. Any ideas how to resolve this?
Devices are not showing in Opmanager Distributed edition

Unable to resolve IP addresses using DNS
Despite my Windows XPsp3 machine able to resolve IP addresses using nslookup xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx in a cmd window, Netflow Analyzer does not resolve IP addresses. Unless you use the custom DNS entry feature. In any case, clicking "Resolve DNS", despite there only being 10 IP addresses listed on screen, takes over a minute to return a result. I have temporarily turned off the firewall/defense program and tried, but it still doesn't resolve. Any ideas? I'm using v7.5 build 7600 on Windows XPsp3 with Comodo
requester allowed to view department requests reverting back to only able to see their own
Several requesters are configured to: Requester allowed to view Show only their own requests. Show all their Department requests. Show all their Site requests. However these are reverting back to show only their own requests on a regular basis. What could be causing this?
Replies dissapear
Hello I've encountered the following problem in supportcenter plus. It seems that sometimes after typing a reply to a request, it sometimes dissapear. You can see the stamp in the history that a user made a reply, but when you open it, it stays empty. After some testing i found out that the problem occures when there is a HTTP link in the initial request. Can someone inform me if this can be resolved or that it's planned to be resolved in a future issue? Thanks in Advance Jeroen Royackers
Massive memory leak(?) on startup
Immediately after booting, with NetFlow service disabled, my winXPsp3 machine normally uses 390MB. After enabling the NetFlow service, and rebooting, the machine is using 1.35Gig! That's almost 1GB ram used, for what is essentially a program to listen to datastreams and log them into a database!!!! When I look at Processes running, there are two: mysqld-nt.exe = 125MB jave.exe = 115MB Even just looking at these figures, I can't believe how much memory these guys are using, for what should be a relative
Remote Control Settings
I am having a problem on the remote control tab of DC. We customized the message for the prompt but now we cannot change it. Everytime we try to change it, we get an error on the page and it will not save the changes. I have tried several different times on several different browsers and it still will not save the changes. I thought that I might be able to find the web files that generate that page, and manually change it, but I don't know where to begin to look. Anyone had this problem before
Problems with ASAM Install
I've recently (last week) tried to install 7801 with ASAM and eventually had to back it out. Here is the synopsis of what happend. Downloaded 7801.exe Confirmed we're running v7600 Shutdown the Netflow service copied both data and mySql folders to another location (overlooked renaming the log folder) ran the update manager and selected 7801 Update completed without problems restarted Netflow service logged into netflow and appeared to be operating normally w/the ASAM Added some administrator level

Problems with "Survey Results"
Gentlemen, In earlier versions of the SCP we were able to view all results of satisfaction surveys "Survey Results". Currently, we are getting only see some "Survey Results List". Previously existed navigation buttons that let you see other results. Thanks Artur Zen
Unable to search in in merged requests
This has come up as an issue a few times, so I wanted to bring it up. It appears that when you merge a request into another, and then try to search for facts that are in the original request, you can't find the info. I'm guessing this is because the merged request becomes part of the history of the request you are merging it into and is not exposed to the search function the same way? It's especially annoying when you know the original service request ID, but then want to find the request. Searching

Change implementation not recording costs
When I put in workload on a change against my own name as a technician there are no costs being brought through as a base so the work ends up as 0.0 If I pick another technician the costs are populated. I have checked that my account has an hourly rate against it. Started at some point after upgrade to 760x versions. Regards, Andy

New custom view does not display data
I'm testing build 7605 on a test machine and when I create a custom view, I get 0 results. My filter is: Technician is <me>. If I create the same custom view in our current production build (7507), several hundred records display. Is anyone else having this issue?
