Not able to recieve requests through email
Hi, We have had ManageEngine for a couple of months and it has been working fine. For a some staff we have to use Email requests because they cannot access the Helpdesk. This has been working with no problem but the last few days, we ahve not been able to recieve any requests through Email. I have reset the password for the account used to pick up email, reset the ManageEngine server, stopped and started fetching etc. but nothing is coming through. I have checked the account and the emails

Technician assignments stopped after upgrade to b 8011
Hi there, We have upgraded SDP from 8009 to 8011 before a while. After that time automatic technician assignments do not work in some part of software like business rules and service request templates. You have to assign technician manually as a second step after a request creation, although a technician selected in templates. Hi there ! After moving my DB from MySQL to MSSQL. i still have an issue : i restored the DB from a ZIP file created before. OpManager is working fine EXCEPT : the datastore data collection is... Hi, i create a "Asset manager" role. This role should allow a person to manage asset an all associated sites. Do it is given full control on Asset, Contracts and Purchases. He has no access to anything else. Unfortunately while he can create asset he cannot create a new product along the way clicking on the "Add new" link in the asset tab. THe only way to create a new product is by creating a PO, even without completing it, and clicking on the "Add new" product icon next to the relative drop down

Hello everyone, Have a problem in the Service Catalog. I've created SLA for a Service Catalog request and set up an escalations. But escalation e-mail is send not accordingly to configuration. I set up to escalate request before 50 minutes of overdue. And SD can send e-mail before 55, 49, 40 minutes... Can staff say anything about this issue? Thanks.
Draft Saving Refreshes Ticket Page
Situation: I have a ticket open. I start writing a reply to the requester. I go to reference some some more information that is attached to the ticket (for instance, information in the resolution, notes, etc). I realize I haven't entered the (for instance) resolution yet, and begin doing so. The open reply window saves my partial reply as a draft which causes the ticket page to refresh. The page refresh causes me to lose whatever information I've entered into the resolution (or any other field).

Cannot start Manage Engine Event Log Analyzer service
Hi everyone, we install the program on E: disk of our Windows 2008R2 server. The disk was 10gb and after 15 days of log collection it was full. Because the server is a virtual machine, we extend the disk of other 10gb and we restart the machine. After the restart the Manage Engine Event Log Analyzer service won't start and the command prompt says "Unclean shutdown of previous run". What we can do? Kind regards Michele

Dashboard names not appear Instead it appear lik this format: @(dashboard.name.nwoverview) @(dashboard.name.top10) also when I open (New Dashboard) Widgets appear in the same format @(widget.typename.alarms) @(widget.name.allalarm) @(widget.name.devicealarm) How can I fix this and make the names (like Alarm and Events, All Alarma, Devices with Alarms, Down Interfaces ..etc) appears? Memory leak in Desktop Central Agent
I have noticed that the agent program dcswmeter.exe is consuming large amounts of memory on some of our servers. Restarting the service returns the memory usage to a sensible level. The memory used has been between 1GB and 2GB on some servers which obviously has a knock on affect on the server performance. I have seen this in both Windows 2003 and 2008 servers. The agent version is 7.2.16.

Internet Explorer: Unable to link to page you requested
Hi there, One user is getting an Internet Explorer message every time when trying to change his password: Unable to link to page you requested. This happens after he chooses a new password, enters the CAPTCHA and hits continue. I have had this happen to me intermittently too, in various different areas of the product, when trying to recreate the problem. We use IE7, this is part of the corporate image. I have the same issue when testing in Firefox. Please advise - thanks!
Disabled User Login Alert
Whenever a user account that has been disabled is re-enabled and moved to the appropriate OU, that account still seems to be flagged as disabled in ADAudit as it will continue to send out alerts every time that user logs into a computer. This only seems to happen on accounts that were previously flagged as disabled.
Real Last Logon Report against a group has a limit???
I've been working with Support on an issue with our AD Manager Plus application for about a month or two now. Whenever we run the the Real Last Logon report against a group the results don't go over 1500 users when polling. I've tried various groups that have 2,000+ and 3,000+ user objects in it but it doesn't go over 1500 for that report when running it against a group. two different computers acting as one....?
I have two sets of three computers each which seem to have some sort of odd relationship within SDP. I'm not sure exactly how to explain it but I'll give an example. Monitoring F5 products from AppManager via SNMP
Hello! I'm having some trouble getting AppManager to fully "see" my F5 LTM 1600 devices via an SNMP monitor. I have installed the custom MIBs and can see them to set up as Custom Attributes, but when I select one, it doesn't get addeded to the list. The exception are the MIBs for F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB. Dears, I send request to your support mail alias and i create case 6477657. as i wasn't able to generate any report from the system. the support engineer advised me to remove any custom images and report will work. that work perfectly. but when i try to generate schedule report with HTML format i got an error. it work well with PDF format. RPC SERVER UNAVAILABLE - Free Windows Tool
I am trying to use this tool to Change from DOMAIN TO WORKGROUP. When I request the move it gives the RPC SERVER UNAVAILABLE message. Is it broken? Why can't it just continue to work ?!?!
For almost a year I've tried to get this product to work. DeviceExpert will back up our configs for a few days and then fail. This is a consistent occurrence that either needs to be fixed or we need our money back. I was interested in looking at trying to incorporate the network monitoring component, but at this point I have no grounds to present to my director when we can't get this resolved and working correctly.
sysevtcol.exe crashed after few minutes on blank installed machine with no other software installed
we are using the actual eventlog analyzer software with the 30 days test before we will buy this product but we can not run it longer then 1 hour. after that 1 hour (or after only 10-30 minutes) the program sysevtcol.exe crash and the windows error message shows that a process is crashed. only a reboot from the pc or shutdown the eventlogsoftware and restart it can solve this for next only 1 hour. we are not using any firewall (the original firewall is deactivated), backup programm or antivirus software.
How to downgrade / uninstall Service Packs
With each passing day I keep finding more and more problems with Service Desk Plus Service Pack 8011. From template problems to duplicate groups to now having technicians just vanish from the system, I've hit my breaking point. I want to have instructions provided on how to roll out this buggy release so that I can provide my end users with the stable platform they deserve. And I am asking this in public so that others who are suffering from the same problems can find some relief.
Spam filter bug?
Hello. Here is my spam-filter settings. But when I send any e-mails with "SDP" subject, they are getting blocked. And in log i get message "[14:59:04:128]|[06-03-2011]|[com.adventnet.servicedesk.mailutils.MailProcessor]|[SEVERE]|[45]|: Mail Filter condition matched. Hence not creating a new request." If I set condition in filter to "SDP" (not "SDP" or "##") then e-mail are not getting blocked and requests are creating. Please help to overcome this issue. Thanks.
Problem with results from Employee Search
Employee search does not work properly in AD Self Service plus. I search for a name and it say - Search results - 11 records found for mark But only 1 instance is displayed (sometime none). Also some of the fields are showing nothing unless I view the employee via the organisation chart, then there is data in the attribute fields. It is very strange but very annoying. I am trying desperately to get this product to work.!
windows 2008 sbs - error 0x80070005 - eventlog analyzer
I get an Access Denied error for a host when I click on "Verify Login" but I have given the correct login credentials. The host I want to add is the same where eventlog analyzer is installed (windows 2008 sbs). REMOTEADMIN service is enabled. Remote DCOM option is enabled in the remote workstation. User account is valid in the target machine. I encountered this problem on every installation with windows 2008 sbs. Any suggestions will be extremely helpful thanks Eros
Business Unit Support Services
Having enabled BUs I now can't add the same Support Service entries to more than one BU. USELESS! I can quite easily provide the same support services to different units within the business structure. Either permit exact same support service entries for muliple BUs or the BU module is useless and SC+ becomes useless to us as a product as well. And saying I could simply change a character in the title of the service is not good enough!
