Linux server disk utilization - no partitions just Total Disk Space
Hi there, Have a red hat server set up using ssh auth and all checks work fine, but I only get total disk usage, not the partitions on the machine. I have run /bin/df -Pm and the output is the same as other servers which are displaying the correct disk usage partitions. I am using: Product Applications Manager 9 Build Number 9500Any help much appreciated. Screen shot attached. Also not getting cpu stats for this host but I think that might be just that's it slow to respond...
java.lang.NullPointerException when upgrading from 6020 to 7001
Hi, I'm upgrading a 6000 server to 7001, however I've hit a problem. Cannot see all requests assigned to a group.
I have an existing technician group, existing members of this group can see all requests. When I assign a new member to this group they can only see a portion of those requests. I have checked the configurations and cannot determine why this is happening. Currently on SD Plus 8011.
Replies not showing up in request
If a technician replies to a requester from the ticket that conversation shows up in the ticket. If a requester replies to the email sent from the ticket, the conversation doesn't show up in the ticket. The technician doesn't receive an email saying there's a reply even though "E-mail technician when a request is appended by reply" enabled under Notificaiton Rules. I found some posts saying the ##$RequestId## must be in the subject for ServiceDesk to update the ticket, and it is correct in all
Changing Database Login
When I am trying to change the login information for the OpManager application away from SA which was used during installation I get prompted for a jar. This is for SQL Server 2008 not mysql so which jar do I use?
Auto Logon Helper Problem
When I try to setup an "Auto Logon Helper" using the following commandline, C:WINDOWSsystem32 unas.exe /user:domain¬COUNT_NAME% "explorer.exe /separate" everything after ¬COUNT_NAME% gets truncated by PMP. If I remove the double quotes the truncation does not occure but I then get an invalid sytax error.
Loading the Chart...
For some reason I lost all the charts in ADAuditPlus. Currently I have it running on my work station because it's a trail version. Is it possible to reset something in order to get the charts back? Thanks!
Outcoming mail, time elapsed for notification in SD+
Hello, In SD+ Enterprise we configure the mail server and works OK, but some notifications take too much time to get out from SD+ You'll see, we make some tests with the same mail server configuration in Outlook, the same mail server, ports, protocols, user, and one mail goes around less than a minute. 7704 - Can't change Password Reset Request Notification message template
Hi. I attempted to change the above message template today and whenever I click save the following message appears: "The template could not be save without the field "ResetPassword URL"." This would be a valid error message if the URL in question wasn't already in the message body! I've tried removing it and re-adding it using the content variables, but to no avail. I've also tried manually updating the link text and URL in case your system is trying to match on the text ResetPassword
7704 - Client portal showing support reps' names
Hi guys, I've just been giving a demo of the system to some new clients and have noticed that, following the upgrade to 7704, the system is showing our clients the names of our support reps in the contact conversations within an incident. Previously, this is something which we'd expressly asked to be obscured so that our support reps weren't exposed to our clients, and it's something you guys fixed pretty quickly. when a client tries to answer an incident clicking on reply, it opens a blank popup and cannot answer.
Email formatting problems
We've just done a reinstallation of Applciations Manager in order to switch to MS SQL Server. Most things are working correctly but we're having some issues with formatting of alert emails - on the new server it seems that root cause information is sometimes included in the Reason section of the email, and this seems to stop line breaks displaying correctly. SDP -$SolutionLink provides an invalid link
Hi, I've noticed that in SDP when a notification is sent to technician when a Solution has been approved, the $SolutionLink contains the http://hostname part twice in a row, which renders the link unusable. (ex. http://mycomputer/http:/mycomputer/addsolution.do?solid=8) Please refer to the screenshot attached for more info.
Sender E-Mail Address
Build No : 70221 'Sender E-Mail Address' for Scheduled Reports always stays admin@desktopcentral.com. Fields in Mail Server Settings seem not working, whatever I put in 'Sender Name' or 'Sender E-Mail Address', emails are received always from admin@desktopcentral.com. For [Send a Test mail] everything works properly. Sender address is always custom. Last verion where custom sender address was working properly for me, was- No : 70114

PMs showing up unassigned
Ever since I upgraded from SDP 8000 to 8011 I've been having issues with our preventative maintenance tasks. Almost all are showing up in the Requests section as unassigned even though the PM settings show it's assigned to a technician. It seems the only time a PM shows up as assigned to the correct person is if the technician is an SDAdmin. I've tried creating new PMs and they behave the same as the others. I can't find anything in the release notes to indicate this behavior is on purpose, so
Workstation summary report
I've created a summary report for all workstations. After generating the report, any workstation that reports more than one CPU shows the "General Information" field once for each CPU, so I get two lots of assigned user, department and site. Multiple CPU systems that only report one CPU - such as Mac Pros - only display it once. Is this by-design, or a bug?
Notification Rules not sending mail
MSP just doesn't send atomatic e-mails under Notification Rules. Many changes made, but no result. No LOG error generated too. Using build 7604.
Probe cannot scan
I have tried scanning with Probe, both windows domain and network scan. The workstations are found but all of them have error saying that the connection parameters are wrong. I have double and tripple checked them and am 100% sure they are correct. Computer management, WMI control on the PCs shows the error that the RPC server is unavailable. I suppose this has something to do with it. How do I switch on the RPC Server?

Issue with ESX 4.1i to be added in OPManager upgrade to build 8811
Hello, I upgraded OPManager to build 8811 then I tried to add a new esx 4.1i in OPManager. I configured SNMP and created an account usable in OPManager to get information then ESX 4.1 is added but I got this error message Could not collect data, HTTPS connection may be slow or not responding. Probable reasons are timeout, more connections, invalid username and/or password. Username and password are working fine. Can you point me in direction that I can check? Best regards Philippe
Ctrl + Alt + Del not working when using remote desktop sharing
I'm evaulting SDP Pro and when trying to connect to a Windows 7 machine, the Ctrl + Alt + Del button on the toolbar does not send the command. Is this a bug? Have I configred something incorrectly? Is it not fully compatible with Windows 7 yet?

Encountering Error Message in user accounts reset password session
I installed already the demo version and already enrolled some domain users but when I try to reset password one of the domain user, here is the error message: "Reset Password Failed" "Administrator credentials in application do not match with the one found in Active Directory" -Although the softwares default admin account enables me to reset the password which changes the password of the domain user account user so how come it does not have the proper credential with its domain admin account counterpart?

I am receiving the error "no data found" when attempting to view event detail of all bar charts and reports. I have EventLog Analyzer 7 installed. I am currently reviewing the product for a potential purchase by one of my clients. I have been very happy with the product. I hope this issue can be resolved quickly.
Problems with incident visibility (Is technician a requester?)
I have problem with accessing certain requests by technicians (which also are requesters). Scenario: We have department DPT, with 10 employees. 3 of them have technicians accounts, 7 have requester accounts with possibility to access every request from same department (DPT). Technician accounts have visibility limited to "All in group & assigned to him[Requests only]" Employee with technician account have to supervise request made by any other DPT employee. Display server properties with SQL addon monitoring take a LOT OF TIME
Hi everybody, We bought (and are still in test phase) the SQL monitoring add-on. And since i put the dashboard SQL on every SQL servers we have, then discovered every SQL instance and every DB attached to every instance. Now the opmanager website is lagging and sometimes freezing when (trying) display the server page. My config : Virtual Server windows 2003 R2 x64, 4 vCPU, 8 Go RAM. Hello, I have 5 clients that have Firefox 4.0.1 installed on them. Last week Adobe released the new Flash Version 10.3.181.14. Those 5 machines were set to be patched from the old 10.2.159.1 version to the new 10.3.181.14 version over the past weekend. Well instead of being patched, DC said that the patches were not applicable to the target when n fact they were. Dear Reader, We have the following problem. When a customer logs on to the customer portal and replies to a request/email he has to press 'save'. Unfortunately nothing happens. Upgrade SCP from 7607 to 7801
Hi, I tried to upgrade my test server from build 7607 to 7801. I started off by doing an clean install of SCP 7607 then restored a backup of my live server. Then all went okay, then I upgraded to 7609 which also went good. But when I tried to upgrade to 7703 I got an error after which SCP would not start up anymore (not even with run.bat). Unable to run password sync check successfully on Windows 7 PCs
We've had a number of Windows 7 PCs imported into PMP via the AD import. The local admin account is properly scanned and appears within the imported resource. We are not installing PMP agents on our Windows machines. We are able to run a successful password change operation from the console. However, when we try to run the synchronization check, we receive a failure notice. Is there anything we can check from a permissions or services angle? Replying to a Conversation
Recently, we have been receiving E-mails but when I try to reply to them, only the sender is included in the To Field and all other people who had been included on the mail are stripped. This is making it harder for us to keep everybody in the loop when updating tickets. Before the 8.0 update, we were able to hit reply and everybody who had been on the original mail would be included (like Reply All). Could this please be fixed as it is causing us problems as we have to hunt down the original E-mail

wrong Task link in mail notification
Hello, i'am using a mail notification to warn technicien each time a task is assigned to them. But the link provided in the mail is not good. I mean the text of for the link is good, but the link itself is not correct (i get both IP and the alias of the server). Error with request link
Hi, I have a business rule set up that emails technicians when an incident is requested that has emergency priority. The RequestLink in the rule doesn't work. When you click it from an email I get this: http://icthelpdesk:8080/http:/icthelpdesk:8080/WorkOrder.do?woMode=viewWO&woID=3952 as you can see the first part is replicated which is why its not working.
