Groups not updating
I'm having a bit of a problem; I wanted to deploy Office 2010 to a set of computers defined in a AD Security Group. Problem is, when I apply a configuration and assign it to that group, it just uses the members originally in the group. That is; if I add computers to that group, it won't reflect in DC; and consequently nothing happens. Same goes for custom groups. This can't be by design? If it is, it's a huge flaw. I want to be able to add computers to predefined groups, and they'll get the software
Problem with OPmanager 8 Build 8723 and HPUX 11.31

Search
Everytime I search software the results appear and the search defaults change back to search in requests. This can be quite annoying when doing multiple sofware searches. Searching under workstation will do the same thing but the search box defaults back to assests. All other seaches retain the seach catagory for each search.
DNS resolution not working in Build 9000
I've recently updated to Build 9000 and have noticed that DNS resolution is no longer working. I'm running on Ubuntu 10.4. DNS resolution works on the machine the build is running on and I've not changed any default settings in the admin panel. When I click 'resolve DNS', it looks like it 'tries' to, but then just shows the IPs again. Anyone else seeing this problem?
Slowness and 404 file not found error
Hi all, When I tried to use PMP I see a very slow response from the web application and sometimes I received 404 file not found error in PMP home page. The CPU and RAM Performance seems to be ok. Is possible to recycle the WebApplication or improve the user experience? Thanks Luca
Solution Notification Emails
Hi, hoping you can assist with this issue. When a solution is approved an acknowledgement email is sent to the author; and a notification email is sent to all technicians - this works fine. When an existing solution title is edited, and then approved again, the emails above are all sent, but they have the incorrect Title. The "old" title is still used instead of the "new" title. I have tried removing the $Title variable, saving the template, and then adding it again - but same issue occurs.
Cannot start as service in Ubuntu 10.04 Server / Netflow Analyzer 9: wrapper: not found
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction: I've got Netflow Analyzer installed and working, when run from the command line. I'd like to get this running as a service. I've executed the linkAsService.sh and it's put a link in the /etc/init.d/ directory. However, running the /etc/init.d/netflowanalyzer start command results in a error: 'exec ./wrapper: not found' Same results if I hardcode the full path in the na_service script to point to the wrapper file and wrapper.conf file. After upgrade to build 8800, some Virtual Machine information using is N/A
Hi, After upgrading to build 8800, it seems that the CPU and Memory information from our Virtual Machines is giving no information. These VM's are running on a ESX 3.5 configuration and before the update this information was available. We do get CPU/Memory/Disk information from the ESX host itself. As well as the CPU Allocated/Memory Allocated information from the VM. Hej, i'm supposed to customize the ADSSP DomainLogon to our corporate design. Thinking it would be a 30 minute job i spent the last couple of hours customizing the file: - the default DomainLogon.html is invalid (pulled from a fresh install). run it throgh validator.w3.org for a good laugh. - guys, this is 2011 - using tables was fun in 2001. you even pulled a "position: absolute" stunt just to get a basic 2 column layout. i like my <font>-tag as much as the next guy, please get rid of those
On XP, IE8 browser reported as IE6 after update to build 8800/8810
Greetings all, Currently we have the issue that after we upgraded to build 8800/8810, our IE8 browsers on our XP workstations are reported as IE6. Result: We can't login. Luckily the interface still works on the dedicated server and with Windows 7. But with a large supportteam, using the server is not really a longterm sollution... SupportCentre Plus does not Start
Hello, I have downloaded the Demo for the SupportCentre Plus and installed it on Windows XP. When I run supportcentre server or supportcentre webclient, a flash screen is shown in the middle of the screen which seems to keep running after the message "Application Layer Started" and never seems to complete. Screenshot is attached. Then if I run WebClient, a Browser window opens with an error "HTTP 400 Bad Request" Please help sort this issue.
Bussiness View doesn't show devices in List View mode.

Cannot draw network map
I have enabled SNMP on my Cisco switch, and discovered the device on OpManager (recognized as a switch, with the blue star), yet the Network Map tool still says: "No switch links found for this device. Please select a different seed device." Any thoughts? Thanks
FileMonitor: File does not exist any more
Hi, we've got some problems with the FileMonitor since we've update to Version 8720. On the one hand the FileMonitor says, that the files we are checking, don't exist any more, on the other hand the test via "Test Monitor" says that the files exists. We removed the monitor and added it again, without success. Thanks Dennis

OpMananager is not sending all traps as an emails
Hello. My system consist of several Motorola Wireless controllers. To each controller there are houndreds of Access port Adopted. OpManager is configure to sent a notification email when SNMP trap comes from Wireless controllers about Access Port Adopted or Unadopted. The problem is that OpManager not always sending e-mail when the SNMP trap comes. I made some tests to figure out how it works and where is the problem. Hi, I am trying to monitor my squid proxy with FA. I have cofigured the squid to send the access.log throught syslog to FA syslog server. The udp packet are received but not managed, i view them in the unpardes record, <166>squid[5998]: 1304670244.315 177 10.1.226.201 TCP_MISS/200 51323 GET http://news.google.it/nwshp? - DEFAULT_PARENT/10.1.247.3 text/html Why FA cannot manage this log? Hello, We build some profile reports in the way to be able to display application statistics for a group of application in previous FNA version. While upgrading to the last version and rebuilding the same reports, with same parameters we can not have the same display. Instead of Application names we got IP references. Performance Monitors not working
Hi Since I migrated from the 32-bit to the 64-bit version of OpManager, the performance monitors are not responding anymore. If i test them, i get an error, saying "The Monitor did not respond to the test request". The credentials are correct (cheking the credentials passes) and if I execute the wmi script on the commandline, I get the data. Unable to remove devices from OpManager
I have to ESX servers that cannot be displayed, added or removed from Opmanager. I have tried running RemoveDBEntry.bat and rebooting but the devices are still in the database. We are running OpManager 8722 with the VMWare Monitoring plugin.
Compliance reports are not showing after update
Hello. I have updated EventLog Analyzer with the latest build and after that I don't have compliance reports showing in the list. I tried to uninstall both updates but without any success in restoring compliance reports. How can I get them back? Network traffic issues on Desktop Central
Hey guys - We're running the latest build (70213) of DC and are having issues with network traffic on our distributed server. Network probe shows an almost constant incoming and outgoing volume of 13.1 - 15.1 Mb on ether.IP.TCP.8383 using RFC793 and the second highest being UDP.LIPsinc1 on 1969. I could really use some help tuning this up, its KILLING my network. I've already had my network guys on it I need to figure out how to throttle down the DC traffic. Can you please help me? Is anyone
Major traffic issues from Desktop central Server
We are having serious network activity spikes and a packet capture has identified our Desktop Central server as the culprit. Here's a sample of the capture - we have pages and pages of this. The problem appears when the ManageEngine DC service starts on the server and goes away when the service is stopped. I don't know what 77.96.161.232:80 is...it's not on our network. Tech Manager Can't see Requests....
I have a tech who is also the manager of a group. We need him/her to have the ability to see not only the requests being handled by his/her staff, but also view the requests that have been submitted by his staff. I know that as a requester that option is there ( Requester Allowed to View dropbox ), but a technician doesn't have this as an option. Is there a way to provide that type of access? Thanks, Carlos

Schedule Report doent work for us. (any of them) Settings are to send an e-mail at 8:00am everyday to send email to all admin and to an e-mail ID. No one is receiving e-mails. e-mail server is configured and test e-mail was successfully received. We are using trial version, and i believe it gives full functionality for 30 days and its only day 8 for us.

Hi, Today I ran into issue. We have multiple business units (say A,B,C,D) that share contact accounts. Customs can access more than one business unit. The problem I have is that when a BU administrator changes or edits an (linked) account in BU C, the changes will be made to all BU's. Ideally I would have an option to not allow BU admin's to change/edit account that are linked to multiple BU's. Only global admin's should be able to edit these account. But I would also settle for a "History" tab

Hi, when receiving a request by email (over 75% of the req are made by email, by the way), no matter what settings are made, a specific site is completed automatically. That is not 'not associated to any site', but a specific site. Which is not even the first one ever introduced or the first in alphabetical order. Automate Patch Deployment - Draft Status
I just turned on "Automate Patch Deployment" and got my email that the scan was successful and a configuration has been drafted. When I go to Patch Management - > View Configuration, and click on "Global View", I see : Total: 1 Draft: 1 No Configurations Available. Service Desk - Problem with Preventive Maintenance Tasks
Hi, I've got problem with preventive maintenance tasks. I've got 47 tasks and most of them are generated daily. They're monitoring steps and our daily processing tasks. I've observed that sometimes not all of tasks are automatically generated (!). The tasks were prepared instead of paper checklist and to monitor if every task is completed before overnight batch processing. (if not, there could be serious problem related to business).
