Shockwave update 12.1.2.152 fails
Hi all Did anyone manage to install the latest Shockwave patch? I have tested this on several PCs but I am getting a "fatal error" on all of them. Configurations fully deploy but status is incorrect
I have been deploying configurations to multiple computers and single computers. Sometimes the Status will show "Executed", sometimes it shows "In Progress", and sometimes it will show "Ready to Execute", and sometimes it won't deploy at all to some computers even though the agent is live and healthy. Working with DC version 90023 as well as Agent 9.0.23W. I thought I read somewhere that the upgrade to this version was supposed to resolve this issue, but I am still experiencing it.
Unable to Create Package from Template
Hi, I want to create a package for Adobe Flash Player ActiveX, but after clicking on 'Create Package', it seems to be 'In Progress' for a long period of time. Does it usually take very long to create a package?
Announcement Text does not display
Desktop Central Build No. 90023 The announcement pushed to remote and local locations displayed the Annoucement Title correctly but with a blank message. There is no formatting in the text of the message. Upon <clicking & dragging> within the textbox, The text appeared in inverse and displayed correctly after 'un'-highlighting the text. Also, upon a remote login, as the screen refreshed itself, the text displayed. This occurred for both Windows 7 and Windows XP machines. All have java 7 update 55.
"Hardware health" monitoring is unreliable
I have a Cisco 2821 router, which is reporting a fan failure on Fan #1. OpManager is showing all fans as healthy. The router is reporting this: 149397: Jun 6 09:38:01.041 EDT: %ENVMON-3-FAN_FAILED: Fan 1 not rotating Obviously I can't trust OpManager to report hardware health and I'm going to need to manually check all my equipment now. Device not monitored
Hi all, I have just recently installed OpManager 11 (previosuly I had a working OpManager v9, but I did a complete new install without migration). I want to monitor a remote AIX computer over which I have little control. I can use SSH to connect the that server, so I configured OpManager to use CLI monitoring. As soon as I start OpManager, it seems to correctly fetch the values for disk utilization, memory utilization and cpu utilization, but shortly after I get a red warning in the summary page
Connection loss causes device to be "unmanaged" status.
I have an issue where when a device loses connection, it goes into "unmanaged" state. But when connection is restored, I have to manually go to the devices's page and select "Manage" again. Well this is kind of a headache when monitoring devices spread out across the country over some very unreliable connections ranging from DSL to satellite. Hi SDP Support Team, the email that was sent from Service Desk Plus (press reply button on each ticket) got i problem about image inserted on body email. I could not see the image on both outlook 2013 and webmail . On the email body, a error appear on the place of image, the content is: "The linked image cannot is display. Distributed setup giving errors since update to 116100
Hello, Since upgrading our monitoring env to build 116100 our admin server is reporting that it can no longer contact the Managed servers. But nothing has changed to the network, these servers are running fine and we can connect to them directly. Also, the polling of data is working according to the status. However we get these errors in the EESyncErr.txt logfile: SYNCERR: Unknown column 'ALERT.SOURCE' in 'where clause' java.sql.SQLException: Unknown column 'ALERT.SOURCE' in 'where clause'
Problem while importing the assets : This remote server data is not supported to import in the current central server.
We are using Manage Engine Service Desk Plus MSP 8207 and Asset Explorer 6.1 as Remote AE Server on Site. After we scan on our site and try to "export and push data to central Server" We have an error notification like this Problem in exporting and pushing data to central server. Authentication failed while trying to login in to central server with the credentials provided. Then we try to export data to get a zip file. Problem when removing a technician
If I add an AD user directly as a technician (let's say admin role), and I then later remove that user and add either an OU or a security group WITH that user within it, I can't log on with this user. The system says it doesn't exist. The only way to be able to log in again with that user, is to re-create the user. At least, this happens in our system.
OpManager widget stops working
When I add the realtime bandwidth utilization widget to the home screen of OpManager, it works fine, but stops working after a few minutes. I've tried deleting it and re-adding but this doesn't help, it continues to stop after a few minutes of getting it added.

Hi, I have a few computers where I get this error, when trying to patch. OfficeUpdateError: No product installed for contained patch. Which is weird error, as if this is the case, then why does the scan see the patch as missing if there is no product for it.

Editor Adds extra blank lines SDP
I'm using Chrome as browser for SDP. But nearly every when I copy/past something in the editor and then save it, there are appear extra blank lines after each sentence. What can i do about it, en is there a way to change the editor with a more comprehensive editor. with kind regards, jeroen

$CreatedDate reports the orignal email date of a conversation
We use the $CreatedDate in the email templates for "Replying to a Request" and "Forwarding a Request". The $CreatedDate is usually updated with the date of delivery of the request replied or forwarded. In case the request replied or forwarded is the reply of a support rep, the $CreatedDate is updated with the date of the first email in the conversation. e.g. · Customer email to SCP on Sept 27th · Noted added on Sept 27th · Customer emailed again on Oct 15th · Support
On closed request notification rules apply
If request is closed, but we can change technician in it, notification rule is apply (Notify requester when a request is assigned to a technician.) and notification is send. I think it's sort of a bug ;) it should send notifications after request had been closed.

Hi Guys, When creating a custom report, when a row crosses over two pages, it creates to separate rows when exporting. For example, if ticket ID 132 splits over two pages when viewing the report in on-demand, when exporting to excel, it will split over two separate rows. The ID and requester will double up in the two rows but everything else will split.
Service Catalog - Hidden Templates
Hi, I have created a number of services under the "Admin>Service Catalog" settings. Then after a number of days my entries disappeared, thinking they had been deleted I contact all admins and no one owned up to deleting them. I then went about recreating the entries, except when saving them I was rejected with an alert that the template name already exists. When I login as a requestor I can see them listed under the "Request Catalog" dropdown box - yet I can't see them listed when logged in as

Hi I Tried on a Samsung S4mini (that it's a SAFE device) the deployment of an active sync profile Attached the profile configuration. SDP Cannot be Started Due to MySQL Failure
Hello, We were using SDP on Windows before but now I am trying to move it to a linux (Fedora 20 x86) machine. I've installed everything and changed the database to MySQL using changeDBServer.sh and it was successful but ServiceDesk is not starting now. When I try run.sh command it is giving me "Trying to start MySQL server failed" error. I tried to check the logs but couldn't find anything. Heya ManageEngine, I've got a registered user that has registered with his questions and he can not use the GINA portal as it comes up with this: You are required to subscribe for Verification COde. We recently had a situation where we had to resize the virtual drive for one of our managed servers. Upon restart we are missing about 18 worth of data from the database. Is there anyway to reimport the data from the log files?
CPU Utilization not displaying on one server
Good Day, We are experiencing a problem on Opmanager with one of our servers, it does not want to monitor the CPU utilization for the server and displays the "No Data Available" image. We use WMI to monitor the server information and the credential we use does have access to the server. If we test the credential it displays that the WMI access passed. Change requester does not updates site (does change department ).
We have to create requests by email so we need to change requester from ourselves (Edit -> Search Requester list -> choose correct). Requester name and department changes successfully - but not for Site. And here is a huge problem - SLA rule depend on Site. Remote Control
We are using Remote Control in Desktop Central on 75 computers in 4 locations. It is working properly on all but 2 computers. For those two computers, when we try to connect using Active X, it connects shows the blue connection screen and they immediately shows "Exit Meeting" . Upgraded to DC 9 MSP - major problems
I just upgraded to DC 9 MSP. Now after I login, I can get any customers' pages or computer info to load. It's maxing out my rented VPS server's CPU (java.exe 99%) and locks it there. the page just sits and tries to load. I have to stop DC and restart it to stop the CPU usage.
