DC wrongly "thinks" new Adobe Reader 11.0.07 update has already been deployed !?!
I could not believe it:
I did not found the new Adobe Reader update 11.0.07 under "Missing patches"
Then I found the Adobe Reader update 11.0.07 in the view "Applicable patches" where I see that more than 100 computers should already have this new patch (column 'Installed Systems').
But, that is completely impossible.
We don't use the "Automate Patch Deployment" feature.
And I did not deployed this new patch yet.
DC even says that my computer already has the new Adobe reader patch - but I can easily prove that that is not true - I have still Adobe Reader 11.0.06
So, I cannot rely on the information Desktop Centrals provides me about missing patches.
Interesstingly, only the "Patch Mgmt"-data of DC is wrong - under "Inventory" / "Software" I still get NO computer with "Adobe Reader 11.0.07"
Does anyone else know such strange behaviour of DC?
