Error in componentVendorFormresult
Good day! When I try to add any new asset (assets-choose any IT asset category- press "new" button) i get an error: Error in componentVendorFormresult.getElementsByTagName(...)[i].childNodes[0] is undefined. I ignore this message and press OK and then create any asset whithout any problem. So, can anybody explain what does this message means and will I have any problems whith assets in future if i ignore this error?
Network scanning not working for new systems (SD+ 8.1.1.0 Build 8110)
I am running on Service Desk PLus 8.1.0 Build 8110. I know this is an old release, but I cannot upgrade at this point in time due to management and configuration control issues. When I scan a small subnet with 32 new systems on it, all nodes in the address range fail. I then run a workstation scan of one system within the address range, the workstation scan succeeds. Delete Admin User - Desktop Central (90022)
Hi Guys, We're trying to delete the Admin account. We've created two addition admin username (firstname.surname) and assigned than administrator rights. We then login as one of these users. When we attempt to delete the Admin user the software confirm it's been deleted (i.e. local\admin deleted message), however the Admin user remains in the list of users. We've tried removing the administrator rights to the admin user and trying to delete again, but this does not help. We have a two user licence
software deployment issue After upgrading to 9
After the upgrade when creating packages for software deployment, it doesn't seem to find the msi's or Exe's inside the share to deploy. Example screenshot below. After clicking on the plus sign the MSI or Exe for the respective application should show up. thank You,
9008 Upgrade
After Upgrading to 9008, all data was restored expect the relationships. its empty though the DB tables do exist and still contain the valid data. is this bug? or something wrong with the upgrade itself. trails to solve this issue: -I have tried fresh install and restore my data into the freshly installed instance still the same> -Update to the latest release 9009 still no fix. any help is very much appreciated. thanks

Security Questions not in English
Hi, i have a problem when i use Gina to reset my password. When i have to answers the 2 security questions they are in French or sometimes they are mixed French/English. Hyper-V cluster monitoring issues..
At this point in time, we are on version 11100 of the essential edition running on SQL, but we experience these same issues in every previous version we have tried... Problem with searching in solutions database
Hello to all, we have experienced some problems to find solutions in SDP database. We dont know why but we cant find some solutions using "Search solutions". Some users not able to see passwords
I have a problem that I tried to get fixed by contacting ManageEngine Support (ticket 1381924) but am not getting any replies apart from the inital request to submit screenshot and logs, which I've done. Maybe someone here can help instead? I have a couple of users who cannot see any passwords although the passwords are shared to them. They can search for them and find them, but nothing is listed in the tree in the left hand pane. The strange thing is that it works for them from other random computers.
Can't move Administrators to Authorized Administrators
Hi ! We've just installed PMP Premium and imported users from our LDAP and configured the LDAP-Auth. We would like to use the Access Control Workflow to regulate the access to our Emergency-Passwords. We've created a new ressource for the Emergency Password and tried to configure the Access Workflow for it. When we now click on "Configure Access Control" the new windows appears but we can't Move Administrators from the left table to the "Authorized Administrators" in the right table.But it is possible
Tasks tab not working correctly
Currently on 9010 but problem started on 9008. The Tasks tab doesn't update the number of tasks that remain when any task is complete ("0/5" will show when all 5 tasks are completed) and changing status doesn't change percent to 100 and changing percent completion to 100% doesn't change the status. Also, the amount of the Open Tasks (on Requests tab) has increased (counting Resolved tasks instead of the remaining Open tasks). It appears that the number includes previously Resolved tasks with completion
OpManager not starting
Hi My OpManager server went down over the weekend and now OpManager will not restart. I have checked that JAVA is installed correctly and that the SQL connection is also correct but still no joy. I have tried to attach the wrapper logs but the Desktop link doesn't appear to work?. Thanks Richard
Issue with filtering inventory reports after V9 Upgrade
Greetings, After upgrading to Version 9 (build 90001), we are having a problem with filtering inventory reports. We are using the standard "Computers with/without a specific Software" report. Once selecting the software (specifically, all machines without Java 7 update 55) We generate the report and then try and filter the results by computer name. Auto-Discovery does not work correctly
Hello. I installed Opmanager11_x64 on a physical server. I tried to discover all switches (50) in one subnet, but OpManager does not identify all interfaces. I don't want to manually rediscover all interfaces on every switch.I raised maxmemory option in opmanager/conf/wrapper.conf to 4096. It doesn't help. What should I do?
I'm having problems "receiving items" within Purchase Orders
For certain purchase orders, when I try to receive the item, it says "Receiving, please wait..." with the spinning circle. But it never completes the action. I could leave that going for up to 15 minutes and nothing will change. Oddly enough, certain purchase orders allowed me to receive the item with no problem. Upgrade from 8212 to 9010 CMDB/Assets not showing Relationships
I did a stepped migration from 8212 to 8217 then 8217 to 9000 and then 9000 to 9010 yesterday. Since then we are unable to add or view relationships for Asset or CMDB objects. The message "No CIs found in this view." shows up in place of the actual related object. Screenshot is below.

Unable to delete "Change manager" field from change template
Hi! When i try to remove "Change Manager" field from change template after pressing "save" button I get an error: "Already change template in the same name is present. Please provide a different name" But we have no other templates in the same name. Can it be fixed?
Login after closing browser
Hi, We have the problem that we need to login everytime we close the webbrowser even with the remember me function checked. Dont have this problem with other applications we need to login aswell, is there a function we need to turn on or change so we keep logged in even after we close the webbrowser ? ServiceDesk Plus Standard
Hi I'm new to this form of support, I am new to ServiceDesk & am having a huge problem..... When I try saving settings on the Self-Service Portal I keep getting a Error 500, some sort of Java Code & that's it, but every other version of ServiceDesk is working correctly using trial accounts and doing the exact same thing. All I was trying to do was to change the default locale & currency. I've tried calling support but I think the times they are open don't correspond with the UK. I hope someone here

We have SDP build 8214 on both a production and also a test environment \where we test new services, patches etc before deployment. After deploying build 8214 about 6 weeks ago, both environments are identical. On the test environment, on a request page, the users can selecvt Actions/Add attachment. In the production environment, the Add attachment option is missing for users.

Software-Inventory shows WRONG installation date for Java installation
DC tells me that "Java 7 Update 55" has been installed on two computers in January 2014 which is impossible because this Java patch is available since Apr 16 2014. I get this wrong information in my custom report that shows me the Java installations of all computers together with their installation date. Obviously, I get the same wrong information, in Inventroy / Computers / choosing one of the two specific computers / Software tab / searching for "Java 7 Update 55" and looking at the "Installed
Remote Control
Since updating to Desktop Central 9 we haven't been able to remote control anyones PC. I did some troubleshooting and have narrowed the problem down to java. I can remote control people using IE and using the ActiveX remote control but cannot connect using the Java one. I have tried the Java one in both IE and Chrome.
IE Patch Release Inetcpl.cpl error
Good Morning, We released through Desktop Central the IE patch from blletin MS14-021 last night and about 5-10 machines so far this morning can't use IE. They are all getting the attached error regarding inetcpl.cpl and we are having to roll them back. Again, only 5-10 but more might pop up. Any ideas?? This was definitely the patch that caused this.

Workflow Doesn't start
We have created a Workflow to restart a Service of an application running on Windows server. The service need to be restart if an specific event occurse in the Windows event viewer. We created an event log rule in Opmanager to indentify the error and to create an alarm. This is working fine, we get an alarm if the error occurs. 100's of logins per minute in event viewer from Application Manager
We are trying to troubleshoot an issue we are having with our Application Manager. On many of our servers we are seeing 100's of login/logoff events per minute in the Windows Event viewer. Our polling interval is set to anywhere from 2-5 minutes though. Any ideas why this might be or where we can look? It is almost as if for every metric we are asking for (CPU, memory, eventlog errors, application status, and service status) it is doing a completely separate login.
Another Contact with the same Email ID exist
Hello .. I have seen this in the forums several times.. in the end it gets to a direct communication and fix from within the data base I have user id I can't find.. but when i try to create them i get a warning that "another contact with the same email id exist". I followed the steps in the other posts .. and indeed i get a reply when i look for this email address in 2ndary email entries that this user (Ben Wilcox) does exist. but of course, I can't see him in any screen for maintaining

Interface traffic monitor last month
we need to have traffic report on some interface monthly , so when i go to interface and click on the graph the graph traffic shown without any problem and when i select ( report option ) to select the date and time and select last week there is no problem too but then when i select last month or any custom date bigger than 7 days it shown fake graph or gust last 7 days graph !!! please help regards
PROBLEM!! Monitoring DELL Sonicwall 3300
Good morning. We want to monitoring an appliance DELL 3300, but when we add a new device in the admin console. OpManager doesn´t monotiring anything. We have already checked that the SNMP service in the appliance is running. We`ve though that probably the problem stay in the credentials, we don´t know if it`s necessary add anyone. Best regards.

Yesterday , I installed via the service pack install to 90001 version .....Big Mistake I created a back up of the server, ran the update. It apparently updated all the DC Clients overnight but I cannot gain access to it via http://<servername>:8020/configurations.do it will not allow me to login, admin/admin are the default login but the web browser blinks, and briefly reloads, then no response. it will not go past the login screen.
