Registered user can't use GINA Portal - Asking for Verification Code

Heya ManageEngine,

I've got a registered user that has registered with his questions and he can not use the GINA portal as it comes up with this:

You are required to subscribe for Verification COde. Please login (If you remember your password) and subscribe. Contact your admin in case you don't remember your password.

This is strange as none of my polices have the Verification code section selected nor is it even enabled. This user has been enrolled since 2012 so its odd that its coming up with this error. I can search for him under the Enrolled users section  and i can even see his questions and the answers to his questions if i do a report on it. 


I'm fairly sure this has happened to other users so your assistance is greatly appreciated.
