Hello, Can anyone tell me if there is a way to view the already running configurations and/or deployments for 1 specific machine? Or if there is even a way...... Thanks in advance!!
Is there a way to see when a piece of software was uninstalled from a computer?
A piece of software went "missing" from a user's computer and I am trying to figure out when it happened. The History tab on the "Computer Detail" Inventory screen only shows one day of history. Is there a way to see more days of history? Or, is there somewhere else I can look?
Current DesktopCentral package
When I went to install on my desktop this morning - the package completed successfully - but there was no evidence of Spotify anywhere on the desktop. No icons. 10.0.82 SOM installed status shown in red
I had an issue with an agent upgrading to 10.0.82 the update failed on the client I could not re push the agent. I had to completely delete the manage engine folder then manually download the agent and run the setup.bat file to be able to install the agent again. After this everything was working fine except that in the SOM where it says installed successfully is listed in red not black. see attached screen shot.
Symantec Endpoint Protection - warnings and exceptions
Desktop central flagged a warning saying check the SEP exceptions have been added, so I checked the exceptions and added every desktop central folder and .exe/.dll as per the knowledge base document. The agent troubleshooter still shows a warning against AV and links back to the exceptions knowledge base. I have double checked the exceptions all folders and .exe excluded from scans and realtime protection, but still get warnings about AV. So firstly does the troubleshooter just show the warning

Update 10.0.82 quark
I recently upgraded Desktop Central from 10.0.56 to 10.0.82 and noticed that in Google Chrome, the computer details under the inventory does not display. I have tired other browsers and the information is displayed correctly. Has anyone else run into this issue? I have no issue using a different web browser, but find it odd that IE and Firefox display the content correctly. Thanks, Jason
Agent Live Status
I am currently in the process of cleaning up my companies inventory in DC. I have roughly 73 machines that the "Agent Live Status" is reading as "down", or "Unknown" However, a lot of these machines have a last contact time of that day or some other time for any given week. I have tried to do an uninstall and then an install as this has worked in the past to reinstall the agent on a PC that I know is talking to the server. My question to the community is this. Post Upgrade to 10.0.70
We recently upgraded our DC Server build to 10.0.70. Everything appeared to go well, except I noticed (via our Netflow monitor) that our domain controllers started sending data to computers with the DC agent installed in increments of 73 MB throughout the day. If I stop the DC server service, the domain controllers stop doing this. And as soon as I start the service again, it starts to do this again. Created By field is incorrect
While submitting a ticket using the Desktop Central icon in the system tray, almost all of the tickets are stating they were created by one specific person. When I do into ServiceDesk and open the ticket, I look in the Request Details section, the created by field is always the same person even though they didn't create the ticket. Create Support File - Cannot add Client-Logfiles
I need to report a problem with several clients so i wanted to use the option "Create Support File" to directly upload my server and client logfiles. However, if I choose clients, the selection windows opens and will only show "Local Office", I cannot select my domain because it doesn't show up! What can I do? I am running on Version 10.0.54.

Menu bar doesn't look right after 10.0.5 upgrade and 10.0.56 patch
After doing the update to 10.0.5 the top menu bar (Home, Configuration, Patch Mgt, Software Deployment) isn't displaying correctly. I've verified the issue is happening in IE, Chrom and Firefox). I've attempted to add a screen shot to this posting. To me it looks like the buttons are a little too big to fit in the space and Shouldn't the graphic show Desktop Central 10 since it's version 10? I've also installed the 10.0.56 patch which still didn't correct the issue. Please Advise, Shayne K
DC Server went down
Hello, I came into work today to my DC server being down. I logged into the server and restarted the service for the server and that did nothing. On a regular office work station it will load to the log in screen but will not let you log in. So, I did some digging and found that there was a hotfix made available recently. I was running version 10, so I downloaded the corresponding hotfix. Downloaded, and installed it and it didn't fix the issue that I am having. I also attempted to call the number

Hi Could someone please explain to me why I've just received an email telling me 10.0.56 is available but when I come to install it I get the "Currently not compatible with your network" message. I understand the reasons why latest releases are not available to larger installations. Multi PC Report Issue
I am trying to run a report with two specific search criteria's. I am trying to find the total number of computers between 2 different OU's. When I enter in the criteria's and everything else that I want it doesn't come up with a single machine in the report. I've tried several different combinations and options and nothing has worked. Desktop Central Service Not Starting
Good morning everyone! Suddenly desktop central has stopped. When I went to the server, the service Manage Engine Desktop Central was stopped. Hello, Every day I see some agents are uninstalled from pcs on domain I then reinstall again, how can I see who is uninstalling those agents from interface or logs or what maybe the problem.
DC constantly crashing with latest Windows 10 / latest update (KB4013429)

Hello everyone, My question is simple. If I remove a desktop central agent from a PC via the DC website, will the desired PC be forced to restart? Thank you!
Uploaded logs but no ticket was created
I have uploaded logs and got an email saying that file has been uploaded to the server and that an email was sent to desktopcentral-support@manageengine.com but I have yet to get an email acknowledgement saying that a ticket was created. Edit: did not get the acknowledgment but someone did respond that they are going to analyze the logs.

ppm update manager not match..
My current Desktop Central MSP build is 90107 and I download all ppm as the following: ManageEngine_Desktop_Central_9_SP_1 ManageEngine_Desktop_Central_9_SP_2 but update manager gives me this error "THE PPM TAT YOU SPECIFIED IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS PRODUCT" Please help!

Record session time-outs in the Action Log Viewer
Currently when a User logs out of Desktop Central using the Sign Out button, this is recorded in the Action Log Viewer as "User Disconnected". It would be useful for a log entry to be added here when a User session times out due to inactivity. Perhaps a different message so it's obvious this was a time-out and not a decisive log-out.
Enabling Desktop Central server to communicate to agents over the Internet
We are trying to be able to allow our desktop central server to be able to be in contacts with the agents and check in over the internet and outside the LAN. Currently it is not working and speaking with someone at ManageEngine we were informed to enable a NAT to a public IP to the desktop central server. Hello, I'm investigating a way to reduce the Scheduled DB Backup size and discovered that most of the DB backup size is from "conf\CRSData\dc-crs\definitiondata\1.1\" (520MB over 550MB). In there there is datas from 6-8 months ago. I'm not sure what it is (looks like patchs DB and so on). Is it possible to clean this folder? Patching Linux boxes
While testing the patching function of the Linux boxes we found that DC was able to install patches for a Ubuntu box but for Red Hat there is no option to scan or update those boxes. Is there a way to patch Red Hat boxes using DC?
Difference between DesktopCentral and DesktopCentral MSP
It seems to me that they both are the same with an On-Premise deployment being necessary. I thought that 'MSP' indicated a 'cloud hosted' version of DesktopCentral. Can someone please shed some light on the differences?
Windows 10 Build specific Dynamic Group
I am trying to setup a Dynamic Group for computers that are Windows 10 with a specific Build/OS Version. I can get the filters to work right showing all Windows to PCs but when I try to add the OS Version that I want displayed in the group it doesn't find any computers. Thanks Steve
Best way to test DC-ME build upgrade
Hello, We're currently planning to upgrade our DC-ME environment from build 90023 to the most current production build. However, my manager has some concerns about what the user impact will be, and wants us to test the upgrade scenario before rolling it out to our user base. That being said, I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on how to test this out? My initial plan was to clone the VM that DC-ME is running off of, spin up a few Windows 7 VMs and install the build 90023 user agent locally.
