Distribution Server not installed, but it is?
So I'm trying to setup a client's server to be the Distribution Server for their local network. I've opened up all necessary ports, and used their public IP for the DS IP Column. Well, I have another cloud-based server running DesktopCentral, that is managing their server but for some reason it cannot contact it. I've gone through these steps with no luck:
- Installed DesktopCentral on cloud-based host server, currently running
- Opened the necessary ports on host server
- Created a new Remote Office and Customer
- Entered all information of client server correctly (IP, Domain, etc.)
- Opened the necessary ports on client server
- Downloaded and extracted Agent package to the client server, and ran the DS installer on it
- Installation was successful, but back on host it still says "Distribution Server not installed"
Anything I'm doing wrong? I've opened up a plethora of ports, I've reinstalled, I've tried installing just the agent on the server, tried installing agents to PCs within the client server's network, etc. I just cannot figure out why they aren't communicating.
