Windows and Third party patch alerts/reports
We currently own the Manage Engine products listed below and I wondering which I can use to accomplish what I need. ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus ManageEngine DesktopCentral ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer What I'm trying to accomplish: We have 3 server groups. Group 1 will get patches applied on Wednesdays, group 2 will get patches applied on Thursday, and group 3 on Friday. What I'd like to do is have a separate report generated for each group showing what windows and application patches are available.
Force reboot after applying an install patch even if the user is not logged in
I'm trying to create an automated security update (istall patch) and force the reboot the computer after the updates have been completed, but there is only the option to force reboot after first log in by the user. Is there a way to automate and force the reboot upon the completion? Is this option only on the liscensed version or is there another peice to desktop central that I'm missing that can force the reboots after completion for me?

Agent Install
I have about 140 Laptops/Tablets in the field. Many of them have not connected to the corporate network in quite some time. I have the install in a ZIP that is accessible from our corporate website. The issue I have is our users do not have Local Admin rights. In looking at the setup.bat file it requires it to be run as an admin. I need a way to get the BAT file to run itself as admin without a UN/PW prompt (I can provide that info for the script) or a separate BAT file that will set the Admin

Hi, I've been struggling with getting Desktop Central to use the correct IP address on the machine it's installed on. It also runs VirtualBox so it has an interface for that and Desktop Central want to use that IP as the address it starts on on the real interface address. The alert on the Home says "Desktop Central Server IP has changed Desktop Central Server IP has changed from 10.1.1.100 to 192.168.56.1. I am curious to hear anyone's experience using DC's OS Deployment feature. I have been using Microsoft MDT for 5+ years and am having some difficulty making the switch. There are a couple of things that bother me with DC OSD. 1: Why can't I import a Windows ISO for deployment instead of REQUIRING capture of a target machine? 2: Why do I need to create applications just for OSD? Forwarding Server setup stuck at "validate"

Time Incorrect in Desktop Central
Thie time in the Desktop central deploymnet is showing incorrect even though the server time is correct. It's exactly 1 hour behind. I can't find anywhere in the settings to change the time. Hello, I'm having a problem when trying to distribute IP Printers. Below is my configuration: Desktop Central Server running on Windows 2008 R2 Printers: HP LaserJet 4000 (with HP Universal Drivers) and Dell 1815dn MFP, shared through Windows Printing Service Clients: XP and Windows 7 (64 and 32bit) After I distributed the Printers through DesktopCentral it worked like a charm on all XP machines. Unable to upgrade from Desktop Central V 10.0.233
I have been trying to update to the latest build. Every time I try I am unable to restart DC. The tray shows HTTP Port: 0 and HTTPS Port: 0 Service status is starting. I am unable to roll back using Update manager and end up replacing folder with copy of working version. I tried the windows update and that did not seem to resolve the issue. Using one domain service account for multiple domains
Hello, I am setting up DC in our environment for the first time. I have used it before at my previous company but on a single domain. My current environment has 4 separate domains and I was wondering if there was a way for me to add domains via one service account thats on the top level of the forest? When adding credentials in SoM is specifically states not to prefix the username with a domain. Any help would be appreciated.
Desktop Central Wont start
After installing windows update KB4338822 on the desktop central server, the application will no longer start. Anyone else having this problem or have a resolution? EDIT: so it seems as though i can still access desktop centrals site, its just that the icon is no longer in the systray on the server and will not open when clicking the shortcut.

Tray Icon modifications
Hi all, Does anyone know if it's possible to modify the tray icon and its menus at all? I've attached a screenshot and I've already looked in the settings for the agent tray icon settings and they are set as follows - (tick) in show agent icon in the System Tray. Every other option is un-ticked. However - as you can see on the attached - the user still sees the options of 'View Prohibited Software Details' and 'View User Logon Reports'.
