Rapid SSL Wildcard Certificate
I am trying to install my rapid ssl wild card certificate. I have a PKCS7 file with the "p7s" extention I have a apache bundle, ee_x509, i1(Certificate Issuer Bundle), plesk(plesk_Bundle) all in a crt format. Import SSL Cert from Comodo - .pfx
I've been trying to get a cert working for ssl on our manage engine client for a couple of days now. We have a pre-existing cert with comodo so we decided to use that. Unfortunately the cert we were given was a .pfx which doesn't seem to be compatible with your keystone tools, we manage to export a x.509 .crt file on a server using mmc and the certificate manager. However when i use the recommended comodo lines from the SSl page in self service i'm able to create the keystone however when i edit
Change enrollment to registration in AD Self Service
Hi Manage Engine Is it possible to change the references in AD Self Service from Enrollment to Registration? I have implemented this in a school and the use of enrollment in the system will only confuse people, as enrollment has a completely different meaning. Regards, Sam

2 identical icons on Ctrl-Alt-Del Change password page
Hi, ADSelfService is being used where I work to allow users to change their passwords, etc. When users press Ctrl-Alt-Del and select Change Password, 3 icons appear. The right most one is Reset Password/Unlock account, while two show the user login name. Is there any way to remove one user login name icons? Thanks.
Windows 7 GINA install finishes but does not display anything.
4.2.1 version of the client and the latest demo of the server. Install goes completely clean. Reboot nothing is displayed on the logon screen. There is so little documentation about this software that I can't do any debugging myself.

Custom Attribute (date of birth)
Hi there, I need to ask how to allow users to enter their date of birth using the Self Service application. I have extended the AD schema and the attribute (dateofbirth) field is in the 'generaltime' format. I am able to add the custom attribute (dateofbirth) on the self service layout for the user, but I am just no sure on the setting to use to get a date field into AD without getting the error : error code - 8007200b: administer credentials in ....... I have a portal where users can reset passwords using ADSelfService Plus. Is it possible to do an http post or some other method to auto login into ADSelfService? I'm trying to improve the experience so they don't have to reenter credentails between the two sites.
how to modify email notification for enrollment to include logon
We have some user accounts that are used for a particular purpose/program. The first/last name and display name in AD reflects the name of the user who uses it. But, the logon might be something like OPSADMIN. When the email notification goes out letting the users know their password is about to expire, it appears to address the user by their display name, but there has been a request by a support manager to include the logon name in the email so they know which account they are needing to change

GINA Successful install - Does not show up on workstation
The installation of GINA via ---> Configuration ---> Administrative Tools ---> Gina, displays the results under Installed machines as successful. However, the computer still does not display GINA at the login screen, even after a reboot.

Gina Free - Seperate User account for unlocking\resetting passwords
I have followed the GinaFree.PDF for setting up ADSelfServicePlus using the Seperate User account as stated in the PDF: "Deploying the 'Gina Free' feature involves the process of creating a 'Separate User Account' dedicated for users who have forgotten their passwords (or) have to unlock their accounts." I don't understand the portion of directions that states "The users can access this 'Reset Password User Account' with the help of an 'empty password'." What does this mean "empty password".
Self Service Reset continues to email enroll messages to disabled users
When a user leaves a company, we disable the user in AD, but don't delete them. However, we're being told that that person's email still receives a notification to enroll in the self service reset. I don't see a configuration option to not notify disabled users. As a workaround, I tried removing the email address from the AD user properties, but the email still displays when I run the non-enrolled users report. Is there a way to allow it to only notify enabled users? Thank you!! Dana

I have an portal where users can reset their password using ADSelfService Plus. Is there a way to do a HTTP Post so users don't have to reenter credentials? I'm hoping that I can use the credentials they entered on our portal to login into ADSelfService.

Hi there, How can I remove the icon (picture BMP) from the GINA customisation? Essentially we would like to revert back to the option for ADSelfService GINA pluggin just being the worded (Reset Password / Unlock Account) link. How do I view/modify user's alternate email addresses?
Is there a way to view a user's alternate email address and possibly change it if necessary? When doing an "enrolled user" report it'll show me their default email address, but doesn't show any additional email addresses they may have specified.

Users require to enroll email when email address already populated
Good morning, Currently, when a user is created in our ADManager site with the 'Email Address' field populated, the user is still required to enroll an email address. This is very frustrating for our admins, since it adds an extra step for their end users in the self-service site when enrolling. I have checked with support and was informed that this works as designed, that you should be forced to enter another email address, and while I understand the logic, I don't think that should be the case

Is there a way to remove the personalization tab so users cannot see it?
Cannot unlock the user. The user account is not locked.
I am getting an error when users attempt to unlock an account that was recently (within the last 5 minutes) locked due to too many unsuccessful attempts to log in. Cannot unlock the user. The user account is not locked. If I go to any domain controller it shows the account is locked. But it will be anywhere from 5-10 minutes before ADSelfService is able to unlock it. z Any thoughts?
Modifying Popup Responses (Wording/branding etc.)
I am looking for the location of where the popups responses and localised text is stored. In Australia Enrollment is spelt Enrolment as an example. However our main need to be able to modify the text of the Welcome popup and the Green Popups that display after enroling and changing passwords etc.
Third party deployment of modified GINA to workstations
We use ZENWorks to deploy applications, patches, modifications to a users workstations and we would like to package up a customised version of the GINA and would like to know where the MSI customisation files are stored. or if there are any (how does the installer know to use a custom icon and text, button text).

I have tried numerous times to install a StartSSL certificate so we can test the product Publicly. I followed the instructions on the Manager when activating SSL with port 9251. My manager uses the self signed certificate when it restarts. Is there another way of importing a certificate? How do I do it?

Enrollment notification wall of text
When sending the email for the enrollment notification, I use the enter key to separate the paragraphs. When the user receives the email notification, all line breaks are removed and they see one giant wall of text. Same thing with password expiry notifications. How do I get the line breaks to stay in the emails when they are sent?
