Self Service Security Questions Forgotton
Hi, A user of ours has enrolled into ADSelfService Plus and has now forgotten the answers to the security questions they chose. Is there a way to reset their profile in ADSelfService plus or unenroll them?
Have you though about using SMS or alternate email, instead of security questions for Password reset?
This option will be more confidential and faster, than using the secret questions, which someone else may know. cbarrios
ADSSP - Org chart available to unauthenticated users?
Is there any way to make the Organizational Chart features in ADSSP available only to authenticated or logged-in users? It appears by default that anyone browsing to the page can look at a corporate org chart with phone numbers, titles, etc....

Hide/Show Security Answers not working
Good Morning, We've raised a ticket about this, but wondering if anyone else has run in to this. We have the checkbox there so that users can either hide or show their security question answers when settings up their enrollment. The problem that comes up is when a user decides to uncheck the box. Some of the answers show up as plain text and others do not which causes a lot of confusion. We have applied the patch that was sent and it did not make any changes at all. Is there a way to either
Users required to change password twice
Whenever our users change their password through the ADSSP portal, they are asked to change it again at first logon. What seems to be happening is the 'user must change password at next logon' is being enabled after changing their password through the portal. Is anyone else experiencing this or know why this might be happening? Understandably so it causes some confusion for the users.
Program stops responding and CPU max out
This happens fairly often, the CPU max out, most often while trying to work with assets. System is running mysql, had 2.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 15GB free disk space and only runs AdventNet applications (Manage Engine & Self Service Plus)
Auto Enrollment CSV - still not getting it.
I keep getting the error - "Selected CSV file' header is not consistent with this import option." The sample csv is as follows: samAccountName,Question,Answer john,What is your favourite game?,cricket william,Which place would you like to visit often?,washington What is "question,answer john" ? That makes no sense to me. So if my username is "abc" is that saying the format should be: samAccountName,Question,Answer john abc,What is your username?,Answer abc,....
Put users who are still active on the domain in the restrictions group
I have MAC users in my environment that I want to restrict from the use of ADSelfService. The current configuration does not allow me to restrict individuals who have ACTIVE AD Accounts. How can I set these users so they are not permitted to register without disabling their accounts, finding them then re-enabling them?
Passowrd rules / policy page change
How do you edit the password page on the change password area? I want to add text like x Days and X times remembered and X length rather than the defaul information pulled from the domain. I would also like to add a link to our company password policy for further reading.
Unable to remove security question
Good Morning, We are about to make ADSElfService live in our environment, and we were able to add our own custom questions, however, we are not able to remove a few of the questions (ie/ favourite colour). When we try to remove it, it comes up with the following message "Deletion Cannot be performed. Security Question in use by a User." There were only 3 of us enrolled at the time and we all went in and changed the questions, so not sure why this is an issue for us. Is there a way to manually

how do i prevent any technician defined as a "super admin" from viewing the security answers of all users?
Help Desk Access to ADSeflService
Good Morning, As in other tools, there are options for Help Desk type of administrators to log in to the tool and reset users accounts from here instead of directly in AD. I've tested added someone as a SuperAdmin or an Operator, and can't seem to find that option anywhere. Can someone please let me know if this is possible or would Help Desk admins continue to use AD for these tasks. Thanks!
Removing the GINA
Hi We installed the GINA initially but now we want to remove it as alot of our users are resetting their passwords when they are off the Domain and then of course it doesn't work and getting very confused. I went to the web admin console and clicked uninstall on the machines while they were connected to the domain and now they have been removed from the installed client list but the GINA modifications are still in place and the Reset password option is still there!!! Just updated to the latest build, and thankfully it's fixed a lot of issues (dashboard not working for admins, photo upload not working for users, etc. etc.) however there's still one bug getting in the way. Internet Explorer Script Error on GINA password reset
Greetings! When using the GINA module on ADSelfService Plus, I have it configured to "check" to make sure a password meets custom requirements. If the user types something that doesn't meet the requirements, an "Internet Explorer Script Error" pops up before the "Password Policy Failed" popup opens (I included a screenshot). Updating Reports
Good Afternoon, We're testing some of the out of the box reports, which are working great. One question I did have was when we're scheduling reports, can it be sent out in a different format than HTML? Adding 3rd party SSL Certificate

Issues with Self Update Layout

As much as I dislike this forum's design and quirky behavior I believe it is the best place to post feature requests. This idea doesn't apply to any one Forum, but all of them. Password Expiry Notification via mail daily till expiration
What does the Delivery Status of "Already Mail Sent" mean in the reporting? How does one add custom Tabs to AD Database?
We want to implement security questions and answers as a pilot/interim security measure. We want to ADD custom Tab with security questions and answers to Active Directory. How would this be accomplished. We would want to be able to log on to our exchanges server, open active directory, find a user, and see a TAB that says Security Questions. On that tab would be the security questions they chose (from a list we provided) and their answer. Anyone know how this would be accomplished?

Hi there, Upper Management would like me to maintain a list of all AD passwords. Is there a way to see what password is set if our employees were to use ADSelfService? Perhaps an email to admin showing what the new password is? Thanks
Custom Layout
When I try to creat a custom layout for my environment, I have issues when trying to save certain information. It seems that any time is try to edit or add to the Address container nothing is saved. It does not matter if I am just trying to add a help card, or if i am trying to add an additional field.
New user can use any password to login.
So we have an issue that is sporadic. When a user is created in AD, under the self service web portal they can use any password to login. They also can not change the password because the old password doesn't match since it seems it's not reading it at all. This isn't an AD issue because if the user logs into a domain computer they are forced to change their password and it works successfully. The work around is we have to set the user's account to not force a password change in AD. Then we change

Enrolled user being asked to enroll
When I try to unlock my account and enter in my enrolled domain username I'm being asked to enroll. The error message I get is "Invalid User Name or You are require to enroll to use this service. Please click "Cancel" to exit. Log in and enroll."
Gina /CP free setup
I'm at a loss on how to get this setup in our environment. I went thru the admin guide front and back in on different venues that I've found on the Internet and couldn't get a clear description on how this is setup in ADSelfService Plus. ADSelfService Plus SQL DB
Hi, I have just updated ADSelfService Plus to version 4.5 build 4511 and have tried to move the MySQL DB to my main SQL Server. I have copied the required DLL,RLL files to the bin directory but when I select SQL Server it give them errors as per screenshots, I have also added a screenshot to show that native client is installed. Can you please suggest anything!!! I am currently testing this software and would very much like to install fully but I want to run it on a central SQL DB Server.
New employee enrollment
When a new employee is created are they send the enrollment notification or the enrollment reminder? Or is that feature based on the OU they are in?
