how to enable login when a new requesters sends in a request
I am using OnDemand Service Desk Plus. I have "verified" my domain xyz.com. SDP is accessed via abc.xyz.com Everything is working pretty well except, when a request is submitted via email, the requester account is created but login is not enabled. Thus, the requester can't click on the hyperlinks in various emails (replies) until I go in and enable login for that requester. Once I do, the requester can login in (their password being their email id). So, how can I tell SDP to enable login for all

Characters Viewable in Column
Is it possible to increase the amount of characters that are viewable in a column? There is available screen real estate that isn't utilitzed and also cuts off the title. As you can see in the example below, Contract Name is cutoff but there is plent of room to show the full name.

We have changed the way you can add new additional fields in ServiceDesk Plus On-Demand. From a tab based view provided earlier, we have moved to a list based view for easy creation and management of additional fields. You would now be able to add a field of any data type at the click of a button and manage (view, edit and delete) your custom (additional) fields in one single list. "Pick Values" button in Reports->Advanced Filtering not working for any field
I am customising the "Requests By Category" Report in ServiceDesk Plus On Demand. When I go to Advanced Filtering, select a field e.g. "Request Status", select "is" as the criteria, then I go to click on the "Pick Values" button (the icon with the arrow/list), nothing happens. The result is I cannot add a filter at all. This happens on the latest IE (v9 on Win7) and latest Chrome. It also seems to happen no matter which field is chosen. Any help would be appreciated! Issues when editing purchase orders
I have created a Purchase Order, Items were marked as received. I then edited the PO to make some notes in the Remarks section and now seams to be stuck at Pending Approval and will not move to the next step. Required By : PO Status : Pending Approval Under actions > Submit for approval >Which goes to the approve tab and it shows approved. Having another user trying to approve this make no difference Please advise
Cannot allocate more than 100 users to a CAL software license
In ServiceDeskPlus On demand, I have a software license for 240 user based CALs. When I select a whole bunch of users (230 of them) and click the add button, then click save, I get an error message: "The maximum number of values for Allocatetowslist cannot exceed 100" There doesn't seem to be anyway around this- or am I doing something wrong?
Attachments in change request
In a change request, we have attached a document to the Rollout Plan section - however, when the e-mail has gone out to members of the CAB, and they click on the link to view the Change Request, they are not able to view the attachment, as it only shows them the title without a link to it - are we doing something wrong?

Hi, we are currently running ManagEngine as a hosted solution and i would like to ask if it is possible to make a generic view based on a custom made status. for example we have made a new status called 'new', is it possible to make a view called 'My new requests' which will be available for all users and when selected will show all requests with the status 'new' for the user? ServiceDesk Plus OnDemand - Probe scanning problems
I have tried testing out the ondemand version of service desk plus, however, the probe scanning has been only 50% reliable. Frequently, the probe hangs, stops communicating with servers, cannot scan machines, etc.... I tested a local install of servicedesk plus as well, side-by-side, and confirmed it is not a WMI settings thing because the local install version had no issues scanning the machines. Inventory on iPad
Hello, I am trying to log on ondemand.manageengine.com and then add inventory by going to ServiceDesk Plus. But ServiceDesk Plus uses the mobile web browser and once I sign in it doesn't allow me to go to inventory. I have tried other browers and disguised them as a desktop browser, but then it says I can't sign in due to cookies are not enabled. Consequently, I can enable cookies on any of the browsers except for Safari.

Hello, I have setup a windows PC as data collector. The machine is called "Log-Collector" And I want it to collect log files from a Ubuntu 10.04 server. On the windows machine EventLog Analyzer is working correctly on port 8400. So I added a Unix machine in the interface. Used the default port: 514. Support SNMP for Scanning Assets
We have several assets that we would like to represent in SDP On-Demand. These would include switches, printers, firewalls, etc. It would very useful if SNMP was an option when scanning for assets.
Need to Report the Resolved time
Right now I can report the completed time, but we mark everything as resolved when the issue is "completed" so we never get a completed time. Is there anyway we can run a report or setup one that will show the "Resolved" time of a request.
