Unable to create additional field except Multi-Select
Hi I have an issue with version 9409. When I go to add an additional field via Incident - Additional Fields > Add field. The system defaults to Multi Select and I am unable to select a different type. See screenshot

Wrong build information
Hello, We are using build 9405, but when I go to Community and scroll all the way down to Build Information, the build information is wrong. It says the latest build is 9409 and when I click Details, it goes to the Servicedesk Plus Download Service Packs page. Do I get a goodie bag now? :-) Regards, Kerim
Option to set temporary passwords for requesters?
Hi we are constantly getting new requester accounts created. Problem is the new requesters do not know their ID and Password. I know the system can send a notification with this information but it is totally unsecured as it is sent in clear text. Also best practice is to send User ID and Password separately. Can a password be set that has to be changed on 1st login? Are there any real plans to address this? Thanks, Brian
License Issue - v12.3.119
Hi, Having issue with new probe. When logging in, says license NCM device license exceeded by 45 devices. Says I can delete/unmanage devices but does not show any devices in the list and I am unable to get past this page. Where is the correct location for the license file in OpManager? What changed between 11.6 and 12.0+ Does the license go in .\OpManagerProbe\classes? .\OpManagerProbe\lib? Pulling metrics for time spent in custom fields
Hi all, I'm looking for a way to gather specific metrics from my tickets based on a specific custom field. Our tickets run through basically a flow chart (quoting, awaiting approval, awaiting parts, etc.) and we've created a field to show where they currently sit on that flowchart. It works great for knowing how many tickets are awaiting action from our staff and how many we have awaiting client approvals and things like that. but I'd like to be able to do more with it. what I'm looking for is a
Suggestion for break-down reports
Hi folks, I have some nice reports and dashboards for rolling up and showing metrics across our sites (think of our sites as different companies or divisions), but now I'd like to provide reporting to the heads of those sites (we have 32 sites). What's the best way to go about this? Each site essentially needs the same reports as our roll-up but with a filter specific to that site. Linux installation - Cannot use /tmp as the temp directory because it does not exist
Hello, I'm trying to install ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_64bit.bin on a Centos 7.5 Server and I just cannot find a way to get over this error message: Cannot use /tmp as the temp directory because it does not exist. Please run the program again using the option -is:tempdir <temp dir> to specify a different dir ectory to use. I've tried all these commands and none of it worked (with tmp folders created before execution): ./ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_64bit.bin -console ./ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_64bit.bin

Hi all, I am looking at possibly modifying the existing widgets in SDP, on the Requester Home Page. In particular the 'Report an Incident' and 'Portal Usage' widgets. Workflow - Service Catalog - hate it
The current design of SDP is currently a pain for complex workflows and processes. After using this for 6+ months in the Production environment, i can say that it can only cater very basic workflow but the complex workflow are difficult to implement - especially workflows with multiple decisions. Is there a plan to to redesign the whole workflow process for Service Catalog? The latest release (build 5310) of Exchange Reporter Plus allows you to add custom attributes from the extended AD schema to get more details from its reports. To associate your custom attributes with Exchange Reporter Plus, Go to the Admin tab. Under the Configurations category, choose LDAP Attributes. Click the Add Attribute button. NTLM pass-through authentication doesnt work on Chrome
Hi, I just installed SDP. I've implemented pass-through authentication, it works on Firefox and IE. But in the company, the browser used by default is Chrome, and is a requisition that the users don't need to type theirs credentials every time they used SDP When I open the SDP site, Chrome just redirect to login page. Updating Time Entries via API
Hello, I am trying to update time entries via the API. I am trying to update a custom field that is of type DateTime. I have figured out the format for the DateTime field as being "DD MMM YYYY, HH:MM:SS". I confirmed this by updating the "executedTime" with the above DateTime format. However, if I use this same format to update the custom field, it does not update the record. Should I be able to update these fields via the API? If so, is there a different format to be used? PMP encryption key file is not available in..
I'm doing a fresh install of PMP 7.0. When attempting to relocate the pmp_key.key file to a network location, i get the PMP encryption key file is not available in.. error. This causes the service to stop. The file is there and the location is accessible from server to server. What could be the issue? I removed the key file from the conf folder and also granted modify access to the network location for domain account used in the install.
kb4284819 shown as missing with error but it is installed on the workstations
Hi, on all windows 10 workstation the kb4284819 is shown as missing and the deployment status is failed "Unknown Error. Code : -2145124329" But if I look at the workstation the patch is installed. Anyone else have this problem? Bye, Alf

Is it possible to add a work log via the request screen. I know we can add a resolution, however it would be great to add the work log, edit the ticket and resolve on the one screen.
