Applications Manager 7 Build 7001 Windows XP New install, and at the polling interval a Just-In-Time Debugger dialog pops up stating: "An unhandled exception ('Permission Denied: 'GetObject') occurred in dllhost.exe I click No (do not debug) and a few minutes later get the same popup. At the moment I'm generating availability reports on 200 devices but a separate pdf is created for each device, is it possible to create a single report detailing what went off line over a 24 hour period. Since management what a snapshot view of any overnight events

workstation parameter duplication
I work in a training environment and we provide training setups around the country. The remote training centres are not connected to the main network in the office. I would like to scan a batch of new workstations into SD+ prior to them being delivered to the training centre. However, to reduce administrative overheads each training centre has the same setup (machine names, ip addresses) and therefore a scan is rejected because the workstations are deemed to already exist. Sys Desc Not Updating
I am managing seven Adtran routers for remote offices using Opmanager 6005. The Sys Desc reflected correct information when the routers were originally set up for management. Since then we've upgraded the OS on all the devices but the Sys Desc still shows the previous version - even if I rediscover the device or update status. Why?
SNMP good in MIBBrowser but not OpManager
Hello, I have successfully used the MIB Browser to load my MIB files, connect to my device, and poll in with SNMP v2c. So the device is setup properly. Then I attempt to add the device to OpManager Release 5.5 Build 5504 and the device is not listed as SNMP compatible, but as a ping only. Why idea whats going on? Everything I've read states to verify the community string. No problems there. I've read the entire product manual, I found one error, and nothing of any help. Searches on the KB also lead

Showing the Comments for Products in the Accounts screen?
Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to change the default fields shown in the Products associated with an Account (when we look at their Account screen)? So then we'd something like this: Delete icon, Edit icon, Product Name, Warranty Period, Comments (we don't need Net Price). We have a situation where we'd like to track some assets, that is servers, workstations, printers, etc. We can put them into the Product Type and then list them as Products. Feature Request: Timer
It would be great if there were a feature in SupportCenter Plus that allowed technicians to start and stop a timer when spending time on a request, then have the time spent entered into the request with a description. As it is now, we have to use a separate application to track time spent, then manually enter it into the request in SupportCenter. Thanks!
Must reassign technician when getting a reply from requester
Right now a request is put in by a requester and we assign the request to a technician. The technician then replies to the requester with questions or possible solutions etc. However, when the requester replies, it gets added to a queue again and the reply must be reassigned to a technician again. Is there a way around having to keep reassigning a technician for each requester's reply?

Can I move the DB directory in another location? For example in another HD. I have to modify some configuration file? Which and how? Thanks!

Purchasing Features Request
Would it be possible to allow multiple contacts per vendor? At this point in time, we're forced to create a new vendor for every contact from a single company. It would be nice if, when we created a new purchase order, we could specify a default contact that would appear for the selected vendor -- but have the option, in a drop down box, of selecting another contact from the same vendor. Larger organizations could have multiple contacts at a vendor, and different employees within an organization
OpManager receiving traps on two different ports
The VoIP telephones I work with send SNMP data out to management apps on two different ports - port 162 for standard SNMP and 12010 for QoS related data. Applications are available from the VoIP equipment supplier that receives and processes the data but I was wondering if there was some way of configuring OpManager as an alternative to these applications? If so, how?
History
We have a call that has quite a lot of history and we are unable to view it all in the servicedesk it appears to have truncated it so we cannot se who closed the call. Is their a table we can look at in mysqsl to find this information. Cheers, Meso

We rae trying to monitor a load balance cluster of apache/tomcat servers. We run IBM network despatcher on 172.31.133.13 We run one apache/tomcat leg on 172.31.133.11 Second leg is on 172.31.133.12 Note only one leg available at any time. Currently the 'online' leg is 172.31.133.12. I can add apache OK on 172.31.133.12 but on 172.31 133.11 is says service is not running. I can also add both apache and tomcat through 172.31.133.13 ( this gives us whichever leg is online ( but does not allow looking
Keep Raw data for longer time for later query
Hi, How can I make the unaggregated raw data for a long time so we can query against it later? At this time, NetFlow seems only keeping the raw data for one day, after that the data are aggreated. We'd like to keep the raw data for , for example, up to 3 months. Any easier way to accomplish this? Thanks, A NF user

Hi Guys, Quick question, Is there any way to set the default time in SupportCenter. From the look of it, it is used as GMT-1. Hopefully this is a simple parameter? When we customize some report, it's generated with strange characters, but another one work fine (almost reports are bad). See the example attached.

remote monitor woes.
Well, I submitted this via the support form in AM two days ago with no response (supposedly it posted here, but I'm unable to find it). I upgraded to Rel 7 specifically to gain the "Remote Script" feature, and it has nearly become my downfall. I can add remote scripts, and they gather stats just fine, and all is well. However! My health stats are in complete disarray now. After adding a remote script, the monitor shows constant, 100% downtime, based on god-knows-what. The script obviously works,

Is there a way to automatically generate a Preventative Maintenance request based on value of a meter: Last Reading: 220 (hours) Current Reading: 320 (hours) Trigger - when Current-Last>=100 hours then automatically launch PM request. Thanks

Hello, I have a group setup where if no one picks up the ticket in 5 minutes an e-mail is supposed to go out notifying certain techniccians that the ticket is still in the queue. The problem is the system does not send out the e-mail until 10-15 minutes later. Is there a way to fix this? Thnak you,

Purchase Order Module Addition/Modification
When receiving goods in the purchase order module the status of the PO gets changed to closed. This is the final stage in the process, it would be nice to be able to have one further status and step in the process to reflect the fact that the goods have been invoiced.

Is there some new trick to merging requests in version 5.5? I cannot find the button to complete the merge.
Customize PO?
Is there a way to change the "Workflow" / Customize the whole order of the PO? Since we have multiple Offices around the world, currency is 1 issue, along with multiple departments asking for diff. things. As well as getting it aproved by diff. people.
