We are using the Category-Selection within several Reports for our invoicing and our general it-controls (you know - sox).

Our Technicians are instructed to change the Category to a appropriate Entry in the List after assigning. But sometimes they miss to set the right entry and the Workorder is processed in Category 'General Requests'.

Maybe you can change the Category to a mandatory field where the technician must change if the standard category 'General Request' is choosen by the business rules. This can be a optional feature - i don't think all companies need this.

Also it will be great if the assigment of Categories can be done from the list-view (like the Technician Assigment). In this case i can select more than one item and change the category.


In another Forum-Entry i found the suggestion to make the solution-fields also manatory. I would like to agree with this - it will help to have the workorder more organized.

At the moment most of our Technicians use the Notes-Function. But this Fields are not searchable in the current version. I would like to suggest again to make this fields searchable in the next release.
