Search solution problem with text that has :
Hi When a user does a search that contains : (from what I know) we get failure: Unable to search the solution. The user that reported this search for the text "ConfigMgr 2007 service running: SMS Agent Host" This is a topic of one solution that we have. Reply Template - Description Field vs. Template Field
If your Reply Template starts with "Dear", by SDPs main default, the word "Dear" ends up being the description for the Reply Templates. Please add this to the run-on list on your Road Map. The actual Reply Template should be one field. The actual Description should be an entirely different field. This way one can actually identify a description about the actual template. Perhaps one day you'll get to it. :) Thanks!
Email From-Name
Hi, I'm currently evaluating SDP MSP. By default, the from name of outgoing emails is always set to "Accountname - Support". How can this be changed to another value? All I could find is the "sender name" setting within the mail server settings, but it seems that this value is only used for system mails, not account-based notifications. Thanks WW

Workstation Model and Manufacturer
Hi, I've got a problem with the workstations information. We've got a bunch of workstations that were build from little companys, so the workstation model name and manufacturer aren't dicovered when scanned. I edited some of the inventory datasets to represent the manufacturer but after the next scan all manually entered information gets lost. Please tell me, what do I have to do to: Let the manually entered information be untouched even if the scan shows different information or Where can I place

Hello I am checking the net flow analyzer product Now I have the free edition , yesterday I change the default password and since then I can't login . From firefox – the browser is always trying ( automatic, and I get Invalid Username / Password ) From explorer – I get Invalid Username / Password. Missed Patch Tasks
I am new to Desktop Central. I have several automated patch scans tasks and deployments. What happens if the Desktop Central server or service is shutdown when an automated scan task is scheduled? Does the missed scheduled scan task kick off when Desktop Central restarts or is the task rescheduled to the next run time? Example: Scheduled patch scan weekly on Monday at 07:00:00. The server was down for the weekend. It is restarted on Monday at 10:00:00. What happens to the scheduled patch?

Switch not authenticating
We just installed the software. All is working well, however I am having an issue getting the swtiches to authentcate when I add them to their apprpriate section. The switches are discovered as workstation, I then change them to switches. I am not able to get SSH or telnet to authenticate my credentials.?? I can http to the switch with no issue. Please help me get these poropelry configured. The switches are Cisco SLM 2024.

Group Tasks on MY TASKS...
How about adding any TASKS assigned to the users GROUP only as well as one's specifically for them to the MY TASKS list on the HOME tab. Otherwise group assigned tasks stand chance of just disappearing into nowhere land until the request owner starts chasing the team/group. Regards, Andy

Hello, I would like to know if you plan to add the possibility of using a host name to a dynamic ip address, in future release. Because, as I tested and saw in others topics, OPManager resolve the host name and only store the ip address in his database. So it will not work with dynamic ip address. Thank You.

Links in reply templates
Hi, We're running version 8112. I noticed today that links in reply or resolution templates are not coming through as hyperlinks with viewed through the web portal. In other words...requester opens a ticket. We reply with a template that includes a link. The e-mail sent to the requester shows the link properly and it's clickable. The same reply shown within the web portal does not show a link; just the text of the link. It's not clickable. I'm not sure when this changed; we've been on 8xxx

F5-BIGIP-LOCAL-MIB - Error 400 - can't add any attribute
I get an error when choosing F5-BIGIP-LOCAL-MIB, version 11.2. The MIB tree is half full and in the end I get: Error occured during the MIB parsing. The error is : 400 I've found an older version of this MIB and using it I don't get this error. BUT I still can't add any attribute from the tree. When I select anything and click add, the screen refreshes and nothing happens. Anybody?

Copied webpage into ticket causes problem
We are running ServiceDesk Plus 8.0.0 build 8007. A user entered a ticket and copied the webpage into the ticket. This caused a problem with the ServiceDesk software. Everything below the first sentence disappeared from the ticket. This includes the rest of the text, the reply/forward buttons, the Requestor Details, and any other sections lower in the ticket. Can PMP generate pattern passwords?
After making a resource group and looking to remote change a bunch of passwords, are there any wildcards/variables that can be included in the new password so a password pattern can be created and changed on all the remote servers? For example. If I had two linux servers in a resource group named apache1 and apache2 when I submit a bulk password change can I include the server name in the password as a variable with other password characters added to it? Hi We have 2 different data center that are one the dr site for the other. Until now I've connected to OpManager only sex on the first datacenter because I don't know what will happen when I will put in the second. In the second dc there are replica vm for VMware SRM and I would like to know what OpManager will do with those vim. Those are switched off but have the same name of the live vm? Does OpManager recognize those SRM vim in some way?

Getting logged-out several times a day
Using Firefox (14.0.1 on OpenSUSE 12.1) I'm getting logged out of pmp after being inactive for a short while. Sometimes a few hours, sometimes after just a few minutes. We have set the timeout for automatically logging users out to 512 minutes (8,5 hours) so I shouldn't be logged out for a full workday. Even after completely removing and recreating a clean Firefox profile this is still happening. Is there anything we can check on why this is happening?
