Use-case 25: When And How To Reset Computer Account Password In Your Active Directory
Just like user accounts, computer accounts also have passwords in the Active Directory. This password allows them to constantly communicate with the Domain Controllers, through the security channel. Information pertaining to computer account, group membership, etc. are exchanged through this secure channel. The password is changed without any user intervention once in 30 days by default, just to keep the passage secure. If the computer loses it's connectivity with the DC, owing to a few reasons like

Modifying one local user account on multiple servers
Hello, We just had an instance where we had to change the password on a local admin account used on several servers. This was time consuming to say the least! Hi All, Could you give port need to be opened on resource side, last time I was receive list ports and I think that ports on PMP server side, because we had open on both side and still face same issue for discovery service and task schedule account. Are the ports need to be open TCP & UDP protocol? Any windows service need to activated for discovery? OPManager will not uninstall
I tried the 30 day Demo and now I need to uninstall the OPManger software. I've shutdown the client and selected uninstall on the Startup Menu for OpManager. But, instead of uninstalling, the program attempts to install and fails. Any help?

Hey All, I am having a bit of a problem trying to find out the root cause of an error that i am getting. Just a bit of information to get started: - There was a developer before me who set up a process where a Request is created in service desk when a file is FTP'ed to a client's folder - Sometimes 12 files get ftped to the client at the same time (should have 1 request per file sent) - We get this task id error below for some of the files being sent while the other Requests are created correctly

I am wondering if there is a variable that can be called anywhere in desktop central that displays the last time a users machine connected directly with central. I want to create a notice when a user has not connected in 30+ days to receive updates, but I do not know if there is a variable or a log that can tell me that.
Error trying to manage MSP Business Rule
Hi, when i try to accesso to MSP Business Rule page, i get this error: "All sites in the selected account refer to 'Default Settings'. Only an administrator can create or modify configurations for 'Default Settings'. He can do this by selecting 'All Accounts' in the account combo-box and 'Default Settings' as site" (see attached file). I have admin user, and i also tried with ADMINISTRATOR user but the problem is the same. How can i fix the problem? Thanks. Best regards.

Configure e-mail alerts in inventory
I have previously configured email inventory alerts in desktop central, the email alerts are still coming through, however if I now go into admin>Configure e-mail alerts in inventory the form is blank, I am trying to stop sending the alerts to a couple of email addresses, is there any way to reset these alerts from the back end?

Hello, I am currently trying to set-up an SFTP monitor, but I can't for an error. The error is: Could not parse response code. Server Reply: SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_6.1 It seems that Applications Manager is unable to recognize the server response, which is: "SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_6.1". Adding vmware servers - Best Practice
Hi, What is the best practice when adding vmware servers/hosts (these are the vms which are running linux/windows)? The reason is, our license shows a max of 150 devices and Virtual Devices Monitoring as unlimited Hosts. We are currently unable to add any hosts as we are at 150 devices.
