I am going to deploy patches to our Windows Servers.

They get patched only every few months so there are quite a number of "missing patches".

Last time I did this, the patching process took several hours which "destroyed" my time table.

I want to improve the process by creating a new Deployment Policy and activating "Preload Patches during refresh".

Now my question is:

Where are the patches stored at the target server?

I would like to make sure all patches are there when I finally start installing them.

Currently I am testing with one server and the proceeding seems faster than last time, but still kind of "slow" (about 1 Patch per minute).

During the patch process I can see ever single patch under "C:\Program Files (x86)\DesktopCentral_Agent\patches".

They popup when the get installed and then disappear again.

But where are all patches stored on the target during pre-load, before installation?
