[SOLVED] Upgraded to 10.0.475 and still told I need to update
I installed the hotfix to upgrade from 10.0.457 to 10.0.475, it went well but when I visit the GUI it tells me at the top that the same update is still available and within the GUI the version information says the same: Any idea how to fix this?
OS Deployment and Surface Pro 7
Has anyone experienced an issue with capturing images on a Surface Pro 7? Desktop Central is installing the image creator components but the component doesn't seem to be reporting the partition information. IN addition the OS Depolyment WinPE environment doesn't start when booting to a USB drive...this is happening on multiple Surface Pro 7 devices, but not on any other model of PC we are using, including older Surface Pro models. Any help and advice is appreciated.
Unable to deploy images to Sk Hynix SSD NVMe drives
Dell is using Sk Hynix drives in several models now and we are unable to boot to deploy images as it does not detect these drives. I have tried everything to get the drivers (Dell does not provide them) but no combination of disk/storage drivers will allow the USB Boot drive to see the drives. I can boot from a Windows 10 ISO with no problems. The Desktop Central ISO and USB boot media has no luck. I have even added every driver available on our Desktop Central server with no luck. Desktop Central Assets Not Showing in Service Desk
We're trying to use Custom Actions - Install\Uninstall Software and when we try to find the Workstation in the drop down it doesn't show. We have Desktop Central and it's agents are installed. The machine in question shows in DC and we have our Integration settings set-up. However some PCs are not pulling into SD. Is there a way to force the assets over manually and where can we look to see what might be failing? On prem SD (11010) and DC (442). Thanks for any advice.
Desktop Central Mobile app Unable to Reach Server
Hi everyone, I am curious if anyone can point me in the direction of what to look at for a issue with the mobile app. I am playing around with desktop central and I can not get the mobile app to connect to the DC server. Ports 443,8443,8031,8027 are all open. I can access it via the internet through the web address listed under admin-global settings-mobile app and it works just fine with everything working. Deployment Template creation failed !!!
Hi All I am trying to create a Customized deployment Task. I give it a name select the image. set some parameters and then click on Create Deployment Template. Finding %Java% installs across domain of hosts
I need to know how to query for the installation of Java across our domain. Not a specific version, but something like %Java% so that it would find everything Java or Oracle and then list every host that has it installed. I don't necessarily need to know what version of Java is installed though that would be a nice benefit, to be honest. Bind DesktopCentral to IP/FQDN
I am attempting to bind the DesktopCentral server to a specific IP/FQDN without success. I'm able to successfully bind to a specific IP on the host server, however I'm then unable to access DesktopCentral via the FQDN. I would like to run DesktopCentral as well as ADAuditPlus on the same server with both using port 443 for web console access, but until I can get this resolved I'm stuck. I was able to do this with ServiceDesk Plus and there are instructions to do the same for ADAudit and ADSelf-Service
Patching Openshift 3.11 node
Hello, We have been using for Desktop central to manage our Linux patching strategy. Recently we have added an openshift cluster (13 nodes) in our environment, but in order to deploy the patches, it's required to run a shell command to prune the node before the patching and another one after to reschedule the node. https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/3.11/upgrading/os_upgrades.html is there a way to instruct Desktop Central to run a shell command (before and after) deploying the patches

Merging two DC installs
My company recently acquired another company that also uses Desktop Central. This document covers moving DC from one server to a new server, but the steps don't make sense for combining two existing servers. eg, step 6 says "Manually copy the Desktop Central installation directory named DesktopCentral_Serverand paste it in the new computer" but this would overwrite my existing files, and I'm not sure tat's what I want to do. We use Dell image assist to image computers. I was wondering if there was a way for desktop central to automatically push software and configurations to these machines when after they get the agent installed. Without me having to deploy them.
Question/Idea: Dashboards per remote office
Hi, I really like my main dashboard view, and I pay close attention to the Network Status and System Health graphs. My problem is that I have two 'offices' configured -- 'Local Office' which is all my desktop systems on site, and 'Laptops' which is for mobile devices. In my environment, it's very important that I keep the 'Local Office' up to date, but 'Laptops' are less important. It would be extremely useful if it were possible to change the 'scope' of the main dashboard to a particular office/scope-of-management.

Hi all I'm new to desktop central and have inherited a system (desktop central server 9, agents are version 9.1.96.w) that was installed in 2015. I believe it was working at one point. I do not have the password to login to the current desktop central server portal. The password reset isn't working either. hi, I started working at a small company using Desktop Central. They asked me to enable the Windows Firewall on the clients and especially the INbound connections should be restricted. New Desktop Central install, 2 alerts I can't figure out how to clear

Desktop Central agents not connecting after upgrade
I just upgraded Desktop Central from 10.0.0-SP-364 to 10.0.0-SP-435. The server starts fine and I am able to login via the web UI, however none of my agents are able to connect. If I run the agent troubleshooter, everything appears ok except antivirus. Any ideas what would cause this and how to fix it?

Windows 10 Versions not reporting properly
Has anyone noticed that Desktop Central does not properly report which version of Windows 10 is installed? I have about 10 machines with Win 10 1903 installed and the graph shows them correctly but when you click on inventory details it is reporting them as 10.0.17763 and not 10.0.18362. We are running DC version 10.0.435
Weird Issue in User Administration
I am not sure if anybody else is facing this issue on Admin > Global Settings > User Administration. If the Full Control is enabled for SoM module in Technician user role, the role assigned users are not able to Add or Remove Computers from SoM > Computers ONLY if they have a scope defined. This issue is not seen when no scope is defined (or the user have global access).
Dynamic custom group for Windows 10 Professional Edition 32-bit and 64-bit and not Enterprise
I had a dynamic custom group that filtered on Windows 10 Professional Edition (x86 & x64) but this group is now showing no members. It appears that the 'Software Name' no long allows selecting the OS and Operating System only shows 'Microsoft Windows 10'. No option for Professional or Enterprise.

Add computer in scope of monitoring and auto add of computers not working
We have DC set to auto import machines from certain AD OU's but it appears to have stopped working. If we do an AD synch it says it has successfully synched, but the machines don't appear. If we go to add computers manually we can see our domain on the left hand pane, but all we get is a spinning circle on the right hand box. We have recently updated to 10.0.433 so I think it may be this, but I can't be sure. I've tried different credentials and nothing seems to work. However in SOM AD Synch settings
