Desktop Central, computer name not current?
We are seeing some instances where a computer has a different name than what is in DesktopCentral. For example, we start out with laptop01 that is in DesktopCentral. It is renamed via Windows to match a new naming convention, like newlaptop001. The system's name is up to date on the domain and it is restarted and logged in to by the typical user without issues. And even worse, I cannot uninstall the agent from MeDC server (to manually upgrade). Communication between agent and server seems OK. Groups not updating
I'm having a bit of a problem; I wanted to deploy Office 2010 to a set of computers defined in a AD Security Group. Problem is, when I apply a configuration and assign it to that group, it just uses the members originally in the group. That is; if I add computers to that group, it won't reflect in DC; and consequently nothing happens. Same goes for custom groups. This can't be by design? If it is, it's a huge flaw. I want to be able to add computers to predefined groups, and they'll get the software

Patch Scan does not reflect applied patches accurately??
Machines to which patches are applied are rescanned and still showing that the patches need to be applied? Any clues why this would be happenning? I thought it might be because the patches were irrelevant (ex. Office 2010 when we only run 2007) but it was happening with windows updates as well. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Unable to install 10.0.367 after applying "Quick Fix"
Trying to install the latest patch after applying the Quick Fix referenced here. I get a message stating "You are not allowed to install Hotfix/Service Pack as you have installed Quick Fix in setup. Upgrading Desktop Central from 10.0.03

I just applied the latest hotfix 90059 to our Desktop Central server last Saturday. I noticed today that when I select the Inventory tab, then select Software in the left margin and pick any of the categories (or domains or types of software) from the filters, nothing happens. Inventory > Computers and Inventory > Hardware filters work fine. Just Inventory > Software no longer responds. We have two configured administrators, and this is the case for both. No "Mark as" Button in latest Patches
I can approve patches everywhere but not in "lates Patches"....that's not good... When i check the new patches i want to directly approve them or not...when you go to Latest Patches you can't do that....you have to go to Applicable Patches ...there you have "Mark as" ....makes no sense. The response itself if ok, but when we push deployments "immediately", it takes forever! It is very annoying and makes the administrator's job harder than before! We end up doing to the user manually and installing what we need! If there a solution for this non-snense? For example, i deploy a single script, for a single computer. Web console reports using an older version when I have already upgraded

Hotfix release notes
Please fix the releases notes for build 10.0.516 (https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/hotfix-readme1.html). This is a complete mess. Fixes are listed several times (e.g. point 5 and point 10 is the same fix). I also find it very confusing how this information is presented. For example, I am currently on build 10.0.479 and let's say I will upgrade to build 10.0.516: how can I see at a glance what the fixes are between these two builds, without having to sift through these notes?
