For example, we start out with  laptop01 that is in DesktopCentral. It is renamed via Windows to match a new naming convention, like newlaptop001. The system's name is up to date on the domain and it is restarted and logged in to by the typical user without issues.

DesktopCentral is retaining the old name: laptop01. The agent is still communicating. If we go to Remote Control the computer, the new name newlaptop001 does display in the title bar of the remote window.
