'Add to Dashboard' button disappeared after upgrade from 9212 to 9229
Hi Expert, Recently we upgraded the SDP from 9212 to 9229 in our testing server. After comparing the production and testing system, it's found that the button of 'Add to Dashboard' in Reports disappeared. The following screenshot comes from the production system (9212) and you could see that button is there. But in the testing system (9229) that button disappears in the same report. SSO Not working
Hello All, I've had this issue in the past and forgot how to correct it with the scripts...... Our SSO has stopped working and we most likely need to reset the computer password. I have the two VBS scripts but I'm unsure of how to run them. I get a bunch of popups when I run the scripts that suggest I am not putting in the script command line arguments. Thanks!
System time in Service Desk does not match Server time, method of timestamping unclear
I see nowhere to configure the time showing in the top right of the service desk interface. It is not showing server time either. Server time is correct per our technical group, but the SD interface time is one hour off (perhaps due to recent change from/to daylight savings). I would expect that the setting of the timezone on the Site entity should govern all requesters and technicians from that site, I have not yet been able to test a requester account to verify on that side but clearly this is

Duplicate requesters when importing from AD - is it better to import or use LDAP?
Hi there, I have enabled scheduled import from AD but it keeps bringing in duplicates. I have seen the other post about this https://forums.manageengine.com/topic/duplicate-requesters-when-importing-from-active-directory and have similar issue with the domain showing for some so made sure that "Override user information based on e-mail ID" is enabled. What is the best way to link to AD so that new users are automatically created without it creating duplicates? I have both "Enable Active Directory
Incorrect Requester Name For Incoming Emails
We use a third-party website to allows our employees to fill out forms and have the results emailed to SDP, which opens a request for our back office to complete. The problem I'm running into is that the email from our third-party website has the from address as such: btoy@nextierbank.com on behalf of nextierbank@csiweb.com So SDP is showing the requester as nextierbank, instead of the correct user btoy@nextierbank.com I've talked with our third-part website and they cannot change how they send emails.
iOS App Errors
A couple users have reported errors today when using the Helpdesk app on their iphones or ipads. The first one reported no usability at all. After reinstalling the app, he could get it working, but still an this error, which was also reported by another user. Can't attach a screenshot right not, but there is a red bar at the bottom appears when you open the app or perform certain tasks, but then hides after a couple seconds. It shows a message,"Module provided in the request is not supported."

Migrate from Spiceworks to SDP
Is there any easy way to do this? I do see some past forum posts about exporting tickets, though the replies are unable to be mapped as single replies, and the entire conversation would end up as the description of the ticket. We would like to move over, and make this as seamless as possible. We would need to move currently open/in progress tickets from Spiceworks and into SDP, and allow the conversations to be picked up from there - without a new ticket being created in SDP.
Assign Technician Based on Field in Request Catalog Submission
Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to assign requests to a certain technician if a box is checked. I currently have an "On Form Submit" rule that executes: $CS.setValue("TECHNICIAN","Name of Technician"); if a box is checked. However, when I submit the form, the Request remains unassigned. Service Desk Plus won't start after database restore
We already have Prod environment running and I am working to stand up the test environment to match the Prod version. I took the Prod database backup. I installed Service Desk plus same build as Prod on a new Windows 2008 R2 server and restore the database from prod DB backup. Hi support, I have a ServiceDesk Plus version 9036 Mysql 5.1.50 for database I installed it follow this step - Installed form source ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_64bit.exe ( version 9036) ,and mysql was installed form mysql-5.1.50-winx64.exe - While was installing I chose postgres . then the install was finished , I run changeDBServer.bat to chang postgres to mysql. User not showing in Asset workstation list but does show in workstation details

Cannot Search Sites and Cannot Assign Site to a Requestor
We are not able to search for a site to assign to a user. 1) We type in the site we want to search and click go. 2) When we do we get an error that says" Sorry an error has occurred" Unknown Error Occurred while processing your request. 3) If i scroll to the site instead of clicking go it lets me pick the site 4) After hitting save and going back into check the Site is gone again. Also there is no department name to pick from but that could be a separate issue. The user is not able to see requests

Hi, I have two questions regarding Resource Info questions in the Service Catalog function. 1) We designed a Service Catalog Service Request and for some reason one of the Resource Info questions doesn't appear when its submitted. When you complete the form it's all fine, but when it appears in our queue it's blank and if you change it manually it stays blank! The other questions are fine. Mobile Client is broken
When I browse to our site via cell phone browser, the login page has multiple problems. First, I have 3 text boxes (username, password, and domain). Why is domain a text box??? Second, auth fails always only on mobile client. Hi guys; I work on SDP 9.2 and trying to scan windows asset in whole of network. I use AD admin user and in popup windows show me the correct number of windows assets sucsessful. and everything is OK. **** BUT when I return to Asset Tab, I have a few number of assets!!! Business Rules do need seem to be working - customer mail disappearing
Hi, As above, we are not able to execute any business rules. I have a simple rule set up to apply when a request comes in with the word test in the subject. The rule should be applied to our only site, should deliver the request to a specific team member and raise the priority to high. None of this is working. I have set turn on cascade execution to on, and tried the override request function. Nothing works! Appreciate any thoughts!

Hi I've noticed a bug which is introduced with SD with builds greater than 9218 using Internet Explorer 8 on Windows XP/2003. Drop down lists do not work properly. When a user clicks on a drop down list, it does not accept the selection. The only way I can select an item from a drop down list is via the keyboard. cDear, The RC feature is not working on chrome on win 7 PCs, wondering if this is a setting related issue or if everyone is having the same problem. Service Catalogue
We seem to be having an issue with a form that was working for over a year now with no issues. All of a sudden if someone completes the form and hits the "Add Request" button the screen resets the form. No error popup or anything. We tried going to the app log on the server but that was not helpful at all. Any ideas on how to fix this?
