Using REST POST to edit a Multiselect Additional Field

Hi, After upgrading to SDP 9317, we have found that the search field in the Requests module automatically searches for a ticket ID number, previously this field would accept any text or numeric string and display matching results. I have not been able to find anything in the admin settings that would allow me to revert to using the "Default Search" selection.
