How does User Alerts calculate time to password expiration
We have a few users that are getting notified that their password is going to expire long before it is configured to alert them. I have the alert configured to start notifying 8 days before the expire date but a couple of users are getting the alert months before the expire date. How does it calculate the expiration date? Is there a way to fix this or do I need to just remove the alert?
No Longer able to sync or change passwords
We recently upgraded from 9100 to 9800 and now we are no longer able to sync or change local admin passwords.

Add user instructions to Incident Template
We are having continual issues with users not logging all the information we need to solve their problems. I would like to add some text instructions to the incident template with a list of information that should be included if relevant. Is there any way to add static text that is not in a field onto the template? Alternatively I could add a multi line text field that is not editable, that has the instructions as default- however I would need the field to go across the whole width of the form (same

Netflow Interfaces
Hello I have NetFlow 1 enabled on my HP2920 switches on ports 47 & 48. these are the trunks between each switch. But on NetFlow Analyzer, it is showing the interfaces for all ports that have traffic. I have tried also removing the interfaces from being monitored through Netflow Analyzer, but they keep coming back. How can I configure this to only show the 2 ports on each switch? Hi, We have a requirement sometimes for email attachments (*.MSG) to come into Servicedesk as attachments, yet Service Desk Plus trips the attachment and embeds it into the email. Do you know how to keep these from being embeded?

Making some fields mandatory when closing a particular template
I need my technicians to fill out some extra resource fields when closing one particular template. I tried to get this to work in field and form rules but it would not work. What is the best way to do this?
A Few Issues
1) I have a user with a license who gets a message that his email address is not to register his email address. No one else gets this message. The message also says to check your yet confirmed and to check his email to confirm your registration. No email is ever sent. 2) Password Reset request - never sends an email to the user. yes I checked my spam folder. 3) Logon screen lists Username: admin | Password: admin. We have a scenario where for ex: Training Dept to setup some laptops on a specific date in the training room through Calendar. The Help desk techs get the request when it is created and it is sent to them as an email. Now, is there a way that all the tech can get notified 1 hour prior to the training so someone does not forget that a laptop needs to be setup and in that way at least someone takes care of it, if the main people who accepted to set it up are not available, I hope I am clear in this,
Time Incorrect in Desktop Central
Thie time in the Desktop central deploymnet is showing incorrect even though the server time is correct. It's exactly 1 hour behind. I can't find anywhere in the settings to change the time. Specify the order of configurations during user logon.
I see this question has been asked a couple of times. But I did not seem to be able to find any answer. I would like to have certain configurations run first when a user logs on. Basically prioritize them before any other configuration is run. Is this possible ? Thanks

Netflow export Cisco ASR9K to Netflow Analyzer
I've Configured our Cisco ASR9001's to export netflows to Netflow Analyzer however i'm not seeing: 1. Any IN traffic for those interfaces in NFA. Only seeing OUT traffic 2. The OUT traffic that i'm seeing iis only a fraction of the actual interface traffic Is there a working configuration for a Cisco ASR(k with NFA that you can share ? Is there a specfic sampling rate required on NFA interface ? I've just used the default of 1 for now.

Is there any way to improve the backup process? After finally upgrading our Production servers to 9414, it was just a drawn out process. AD Import schedule once an hour instead of once a day
Hello, We add employees quite often and have to continuously manually run the AD User Import process in SDPlus. Is there a way to schedule the AD import once or twice an hour, or perhaps is there a command line that I could script myself? Another option would be to have a one-click shortcut that would import users with the existing OUs already set. The current method of drilling down multiple levels of web pages is cumbersome and time-consuming. Thanks!
