Rebooting Problems in Debian
i tried to change the init.d (added a link to SupportCenter) and also changed all the rc0.d and all the others to execute the run.sh at reboot and at start and so on... but the run.sh is then executed from another place and many things are missing.. i changed the run.sh at some lines and added the /opt/AdventNet/Support.... but I still receive some errors can someone help

Remote Network Scan
Hello Everyone: I am getting ready to to try to do a Remote Network Scan. I have 25 remote offices that are connected to the main servers here only via terminal services. No VPN. To do a network scan I know I need to open ports 7,135,445,1085 on the firewall. However how am I going to scan the network behind the firewall? Users [requesters] not able to view requests
Our users in our organization have not yet been logging to SD+ to create and view their requests. I would like to have them start this process but we are having a problem with my test users viewing requests that they are the requester of. The only requests they can view and track are ones they create themselves via the web form. If I or another technician change an already created request to make them the requester they can not view the request. They also can not see any old completed requests that

Pb with script monitor in AIX

But when I try to put a script monitor in the same system it said �Could not establish a session with the host. Kindly check the host information. �. Call Templates
Morning - I recall asking some months ago for the ability to have common call templates within Service Desk. i.e. password reset calls. The reply was that it was on the roadmap and would be included soon; to my knowledge this feature has yet to be included, could you please confirm when it will be? High CPU usage after install
Hello guys... I had AppManager 6 installed and had to remove it because of some memory problems. I later decided to install AppManager 7 on the same server. The installation went well, but as soon as AppManager starts on the server, CPU utilisation goes to 100%. The process I see using most of this is the Java run-time. This is the latest version, and the same one I had before with AppManager 6 without problem. It took me almost one hour to bring down AppManager (I didn't want to restart the server)
Event Logs
Started to look at the Event Log Analyzer and like the SOX reports from the security log. Why does it not by default import the app / system logs. I have tried to import and the windows evt type did not import. Thanks Trevor

Hello, I've installed OpManager build 6005 (running on RedHat FC 3) and I'm monitoring about 150 Solaris 8 servers via SNMP (NET-SNMP version: 5.1.1 on the Sun Boxes). During my testing I've notice sometimes when I go to a system the snapshot either CPU, Memory, Disk will say "Data not available" or just one or two will say it. SDP Client
When will we be able to install a SDP client on users PCs to gather the inventory data and relay it to the SDP server? I would rather the client use just one port for communication back to the server rather than having WMI, RPC, DCOM services always enabled. RPC ports open and ports 135 and 445 open. Old data in database
hi, I am continuing with the Evaluation .... !! I found that the old data of routers / interfaces in the database cannot be removed even they are "Deleted" from the Lincese Management. This lead to a problem that we are facing. After we change the source IP of one router, we try to delete the old records (the old data is not needed anymore) and rename the new IP with the same as the old one. (Same name). However, the system does not allow me to do so, probably because the same name has been used

Computer account lastlogontime
Our engineers developed a script to pull the lastlogontime attribute which reports a 5hour discrepency between admanagers lastlogontime for the computer account, we verified that the script is using the correct AD attribute, not the attribute that is replicated which updates every 14 days (lastlogontimestamp, i think). I was curious as to how we can verify the real last logon time of a computer account. Is admanager correct or is the vb script correct. Keep in mind that we are aware of the 64bit

Hi all, When you go to device snapshot page, every interface (both managed & unmanaged) is displayed in it. Is there any way to remove these unmanaged interfaces from the device snapshot page. (eg. If I'm monitoring a router with serialport, LAN port and some async ports, & I need only to manage the serial port. First off, thanks for the fantastic programs! We currently use Service Desk Plus, and we're evaluating OPManager and Firewall Analyzer. My suggestion isn't related to just service desk, but to all your programs. I notice how OpManager can integrate into Service Desk, and vice versa. But how about adding that feature in all the programs? Something where you can customize what programs you'd like to "Jump to". Will not collect Windows NT 4.0 Logs
1) I installed WMI according to your EventLogAnalyzer instructions, and it says it's running fine on both NT 4.0 servers 2) EventLogAnalyzer has them both at a green status 3) I manually scanned multiple times with no success 4) I have deleted the servers and readded them. netflow analyzer 5 working very slowly

Database: 11G -> 85GB with no change :(
Hi all, My database appears to have gone from being around 11GB on Tuesday to 85GB today; worringly, we didn't make any changes to the raw data store as we know we can't store more than a day because we would run out of disk space. I know this is finger in the air stuff, but anyone know why this could happen? I can see JVM hung and tried to reload, claimed it was registered to null and failed. Thanks,

do we have tools that may help speed up service desk, we have noticed that flicking between screens can somtimes appear to off hung, i dont beleave this is the case just that it is retriving the information, is there a tool to help make the performance of the database retrival quicker, hope this makes sense, thanks ryan
Business rule based on customized field
