Disable Probe Showing on windows login
Hi there.
When a probe is installed on a customers server, when the ManageEngine Probe service is started and then the customer logs in, the OpManager software window appears, loads the little green icon in the taskbar, then auto opens up a webpage to the local probes web interface.
We do not want this happing when our customers log in to their servers, as we don't want them trying to get into their local probe interface or to constantly see the software running, we wish it to be a silent monitoring and that is annoying to have keep opening when they log on.
We have purchased the MSP edition and have only installed a probe on one customers site at the moment as an initial test of our setup, with the plan to install on all our customers networks in the new year. This is only one customer at the moment, but I know some of our customers will find the opening of the probe and webpage on login very irritating.
So how can we stop the probe icon appearing in the taskbar and prevent the webpage from auto opening on logon?
