Restoring Archived files
Hi Every One Good Day to all of you there.... Hope some one can help me out with this. I am trying to restore an archived file. The file size is 250mb. I have ticked the check box and clicked on the load and search, but it has been on the loading status for the past cuple of days and has come up with an error to be sent off to Microsoft. How can I fix this issue and how can I stop the loading process when it is started if I want to. Kind Regards Pacman
i cant change language
hi. Im trying to change the language settings, but in the personalize link dont appear nothing related with the language option. Just appear the change password option. Error while getting interface varbinds
Hi, I have three machines running jboss, all identical, all in the same subnet. A fourth machine running Applications Manager can find two of the three jboss machines, but not the third. The error when attempting to create a monitor, after a long wait, is "Unable to add the Interface for IP Address 10.32.69.8. Kindly check whether the machine has dual interface.If it has dual Interface try adding with the another IP Address.". There are two interfaces running on that machine, and I _can_ get ApplicationManager
Feature Request
Hi PMP Support, This is a great product, but could use a little tweaking to get it working right. Is it possible to add the ability to have resource/account descriptions visible on the home page like the way it is on the resource page, without having to click on the item itself. This would save time searching if you weren't quite sure what resource an account belonged to. Cheers, Phill

Hi Good Day! If I backup and archived file to a tape and delete it from the Eventlong Analyzer them, then at a later date if I want to search the backed up archived file for a particular event then how can I load this in to the eventlog analyzer and search on it. Regards, PACMAN
Requester/User Help File
Is there a 'Requester Help Manual' or some such that can be provided to the end user/requester so that they can be shown how to open requests, etc?
Prevent users from creating a login at Self Service Portal
We use SD+ 6 and, when we have established that only some type of requesters will have a login at Self Service Portal. To accomplish this we don't fill the correponding fields at the requester profile. Later we find out that, if we send a mail to that user he may enter the portal and create the requester account. How is it possible? How can I prevent this from happening? Thanks
Notification Emails
When a notification email is sent to the technician that a new task has been created, the link on the email is different from what is in the notification rules. It should be "http://ServerName/$RequestLink" but instead it is http://HelpDesk/$RequestLink. How do I go about fixing this?
No denied messages for Fortigate 60
We have a Fortigate 60 that is not reporting on the implied "deny all". In other words, we have no inbound rules defined on our outside public IP address. Therefore, all packets should be blocked. The problem however, is that the Forigate is not reporting the denials. I ran an attack against the unit for a couple of hours and it didn't report anything be denied. I also configured the Fortigate to send messages to Kiwisyslog and nothing showed up there either. We called Fortinet and they said this

Requests are being created twice
Hi, Every time I create a job in SD+, it creates it twice, assigns different IDs to it, and (I think) therefore emails the Requester twice. I'm a Technician with full access, and we're using Build 6005. Is there a resolution to this? Cheers, Peter

Object users permissions
We need to be able to audit which user has access over objects. You already have report which list what objects a user has access to but I need the opposite. I need to know which users have access to an object. Example. if I have a share named XYZ I need to pull out a report on all the users (not groups.) whom have access to this share and what rights they have. Eric St-Louis
Bulk user update
Is there any way to bulk update all of my users? I have inherited an AD structure where they have not populated much of any user data and I want to get a dump from HR with titles, Managers, locataions, etc and do a mass update of all my user accounts. Windows 2003 Domain Controller reporting 100% CPU usage?
I have a windows 2003 server, domain controller and file server which is being monitored as having 100% cpu usage all of today. I logged into the server and checked the cpu usage in performance monitor and it is no where near 100%? what would cause this?
SNMP CPU/MEMORY/DISK Space Monitors
I am trying to setup OpManager Trial version to monitor 10 servers across 2 domains. All of the servers are running either Win2003 server, or Win2k Server. All of the servers have the SNMP SERVICE running, as well as the WMI Service. However in OpManager, some of the servers dont have the BLUE star that indicates that the server is SNMP enabled. NFA6: Interface Alias/Desc Irregular or Inop
Clicking on the " Configure Device Settings" icon and getting into the " Configure Device Settings" dialog box, I configure the "Default Interface Name" for either "IfAlias" or "IfDesc" but it doesn't matter, it never uses the Alias (configured via the Interface's "description" CLI command. SNMP is working, it changes some of the interfaces, but not all. It is an irregular puzzle. Switch is a Cat4500/Sup4/12.2(31)SGA1 Enterprise. I have used GetIf and found the descriptions in enterprises.9.2.2.1.1.28.x.
SQL Server Agents stopping
Has anyone else had an issue where OpManager with the SQL monitor add-on has just randomly stopped the SQL Server agents? Our main SQL server keeps having this problem and it didn't start until we installed the software package. Thanks!
Backplane Utilization in OpManager 6
I can not get backplane utilization from my Cisco switches. Memory and CPU utilization works fine. When I do a Test Monitor I get the response - The Monitor did not respond to the test request. I tried using the standalone MIB browser and used the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.1.8 and received a request timed out. When I use the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.1.8.0 I get a response without an error. Please provide a procedure to fix this error. Thanks!

Community strings
Even though I had 3 different community strings set in my "SNMP" settings value.. every time I use a tool that requires the "Community" value.. I usually have to type in the community string for that system/device.. SNMP Ping... System Snapshot.. Can the tools simply use the default 3 snmp communities I put in for the SNMP settings value? and not always ask to input a community string??

Guys, We scheduled a report for a client installation to run one morning but the output is no data available. We tried to run the report manually and the report is had data. Merged case numbers
We had a client chasing up on a job this morning and when I searched for the job ref it couldn't be found. It turned out to that the job had been merged with an earlier one. Would it be possible to still be able to search for the job based on its original case number? Even if it pointed us to the merged job. Thanks

ServiceDesk Plus Change request unavailable
Hi, I have downloaded demo version of ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus 7.0.0. This tool is installed on Win XP and my browser is IE 7. I tried to create a Change request, but blank screen is displayed and there is a message in status bar: "handle Response called http://acer:8080/framework/html/blank.html". However, http://acer:8080/Changes.cc should be called. I am using administrator login, but this issue is not related to user. The same issue is occurring for all users with privileges for Changes.
