Archive logs

Archive logs

I have the logs archiving and have several days worth of archives. There are many entries with a status of "Loading archives of [Common Log Format] is not supported". To me this seems like I am wasting space here by archiving files I can never use. Is there a way to only archive files that I will be able to load back in?
