How to add additional disk to be monitored in the disk graph
Hi, May I know how to add additional disk to be monitored in the disk graph. I want to add /var in the monitored disk utilization graph. However, I don�t know how to add the said filesystem to the graph. Thanks. :)
Certain Reports Viewable
Hello, Currently we list a bunch of projects in Helpdesk ME and we would like the company to be able to view them. How can I allow a certain category of requests to be viewable by anyone? I would really like that. If you could show me even how to allow a REPORT to be shown to everyone I would appreciate that. Thanks! -Wes
Fetching details from email requests
Hi, I know it is possible to create requests by incoming emails, but request is created only with title(email subject) and description(email description). Is there any other way to fetch other details of request over email? Thanks.
Asset History inserting incorrect date of change
Just noticed that with build 7021 the history tab on assets is showing an incorrect date for a change. We just assigned the workstation to a user and the date is shown as 7th October 2007 rather than 18th November 2008. UK install on Windows 2003, with SQL2005 backend. Server date time is correct and other elements of service desk appear to have the correct date/time. Please advsie if this is a common issue or one off and how it can be resolved. Regards, Andy
Technicians is not present in the letter
So should be? Good afternoon. Here such situation: the Employee writes the letter on a support service and puts in a copy of the head (the letter gets in SD + and receives the number). For the request the technicians is assigned. The head answers the letter of the employee and this letter gets to system SD + and receives the number. Prevent Adding\Modifing Requester Details
Hi, I'm sure this question has been asked before but my searching is resulting in millions of results that aren't quite what im after. I'd like to prevent ANY user adding NEW requesters when creating a new Request. I don't mind them changing the requester to a different one if there is a mistake, but adding new ones will cause problems. Is this at all possible with ServiceDesk Plus Enterprise?
Import old data
We have purchased Servicedesk Plus but we would like to import our old data frin another system before going live with Servicedesk. Can anyone give me some detials on that? We are running a sql database now with our helpdesk, I believe the name is Liberum. Thanks.
"Sys Admin team." issue...
This is probably an easy one but after searching for 'sys admin team' i couldn't find anything.... I've been through all the sections and Helpdesk Customiser Wizard but can't find where to edit the emails so they're not sent with the signature of: regards, Sys Admin team. Two Questions
Hello People Just a couple of questions - one a query and one How Do I request. Firstly is the free version of ADManager time limited at all - I am aware you can only select 100 account at a time but wondered if it expired afater a certain time. Secondly - I am an Exchange Administrtaor and would like to know it it's possiblwe to do a search of OU's to fiond if one of the common values has not been set. Delete Computes via CSV import
What are the LDAP attributes that I need to delete computers using the CSV import? I have a CSV with the computer names, either just the computer name itself or the full Distinguishedname where it is CN,OU,OU,DC,DC. I need a CSV to check computer I want to delete and then the next column to have the attribute/command to delete the PC. I don't see how to generate a report using the Delete Computers report with the command to delete it. Should I just import all the PC names, and then try to delete

Import Log Files Schedule
I run Firewall Analyzer 5 on Windows 2003 Server : Hi use the import log file with FTP to import squid logs every day. It works for a few days, and after it stop working. I can disable and enable the job to make it run again. Is it possible to run an import from a command line ? So I can manage this with Windows Scheduler ?
Unable to log onto Servicedesk plus

OU Management
I want to manage a OU instead of complete domain as we have OU based rights.Please let me know if by anyone this can be done as i am unable to generate reports & manage users etc.
Change record approvals
The documentation suggests that standard changes are the only changes which do not require approval; however, you can change the status to completed for any record. Is there a way to flag those changes which are REQUIRED to have an approval done? It would be great to have business logic on what CAB is required to approve certain changes but at this point any approval would be helpful. Thanks.
Creating custom report with opened & closed requests
I need to create a report that includes the following: 1- Requests opened at the beginning of the period selected. 2- Requests closed during the period selected. 3- Requests opened during the period selected. Is it possible with the report tool inside the HelpDesk to do that? Or do I have to use another tool like Crystal Report?
Bandwidth statement of serial interface
On a serial interface, should I be setting my speed to the port speed or the pvc? If I have a 1.5Meg Port speed with 768kbps epvc, on my bandwidth statement on that serial interface which bandwidth should be reporting so Netflow shows it accurately? Thank you.

Restore Version 7008 Problem
Hi, i just reinstalled the server. Before I did that, i upgraded to Version 7011. What i did not do is a Backup with Version 7011. I reinstalled the Server, everything is fine, just the Restore from Backup does not work, saying, the Backupversion is for 7008 and so it is not continuing, I immediatly need help, maybe you can send me a download link for files to install Build 7008? Question about port Flaps
Is there a way to monitor a Cisco Switch port for port flaps ( UP Downs ) without being nagged about every port that is down. I want to monitor a port for UP Downs but dont want an alert every time someone turns their computer off.

All services of OpManager are running fine. When I access Web Client and go to any MAP Snap Infrastructures. Reports are failing to be emailed
I have setup reports and they are hit or miss. I have them set to run once right now so I can check them and go back and make any changes. The problem is that some of them get sent and the report is attached. Other times there is an attachment that's only ~600 Bytes. You go to open it and it claims there was an error. Also being ~600 Bytes that's not big enough to hold a report which range from 1-6 MB. I noticed that the footer was the wrong dimensions but I have changed that and still have problems

I'm running on Windows systems. I want to create reports filtered on Event ID and Process (Windows calls it Source). For example I want to create a print report filtering EventID 10 from Process 'Print' but cannot find a way to filter the print process.
Backup file version
Hello, I'm wasting lots of time downloading versions of SDP @ the moment. The situation: I need to restore data from a backup, no problem. The problem is that I don't know the version of the backup.data file. How can I check the version of SDP when I only have the file as a reference. If needed I can post the file as attach. Problems with Purchase orders

System Time on Applications Manager
I am running application manager build number 8501 and notice that scheduled maintenance times are not working and we get alerts during them. Also, all alert times are recorded as wrong time. Happened to notice that the system time reported at bottom of application manager page is showing 5 hours ahead of actual time. Time on server that it is running on is correct time though. Where is it getting time from and how do we fix to ensure maintenace schedules work correctly? James Heath

Requests by Technician report = wrong
Hi gang. I have just updated to V7 (build 7000). when I run a Requests by Technician report I get an incorrect figure. How do I know? We record each days statistics, in particular the number of calls remaining "not closed" at EOD. For the month of Oct this figure started at 403. At EOM it was 480. So that is 480 calls remained open (from any creation date) at EOM Oct. The number of new calls for Oct = 889. The Requests by Technician report indicates that we clsoed 898 calls. Thats 10 more calls then
Differing bandwidth
Hi, I'm on V7002 and I can set differing input and output bandwidths on the interface of a router. However, when I set up an IP group that represents a subset of that link then I cannot do that. I am forced to choose the same for inbound and outbound. Can this feature be added?
